Testing this week/tww 18th- 26th October

Anyone testing this week between the 18th or 26th October? It’s my 2nd cycle ( first where I’ve tracked ovulation) ttc first child. Im trying to avoid temptation to test too soon! I’m currently 5 or 6 DPO and hoping to wait until Thursday where I’ll be at least 9 DPO.

@Decaffe honestly can’t stop crying… yes he was there when I took the digital test. He’s over the moon. We want this so badly and feel incredibly lucky to have this the first time trying.

Just hoping it’s a sticky baby and we see this first trimester through ok.

I found the FRER difficult to ready- clear blue ultra early digital was great (the one with the flashing light on the end)

Just took a test and BFN :( I’m gutted. Now just waiting for AF which is a day late!

@Moonshine160 I’m gutted too. AF came yesterday at the last possible moment. It’s so mentally tough isn’t it. Try to keep your chin up. This will be cycle number 7. Just joined November thread.

I'm due on Saturday but i wont test untill I'm late. I had spotting and slight on cramping 9dpo so we will see.

Im due my next covid jab so im hoping that doesn't cause any issues

@Moonshine160 until AF arrives there’s a chance. Im BFN this morning but I felt implantation cramps late Friday night followed by bleeding which is still there but is 100% not my normal period and is almost gone. I think it takes 3-5 days to show positive though so trying to not obsess, and AF shouldn’t be here till Wednesday. Need to set myself up for a real BFN but failing miserably.

Good luck everybody. Unfortunately AF arrived for me this morning annoyingly half an hour after I tested negative!

12DPO. Negative tests. Achy lower back as though period is imminent (it’s due Saturday, but I often spot beforehand). Absolutely no CM at all, to the point where it’s almost uncomfortable.

No idea what yesterday evening’s twinges were.

I guess it’s not true that you are more fertile the month after your chemical, or that conceive plus helps you to conceive first time (like it did all of my friends!).

Bugger.

@Decaffe I’m also DPO 12, really bad lower back pains today. So you have my sympathy. I feel like I’ve lived with a hot water bottle attached for a week. Hope she doesn’t come for you this month.

I’m also Insanely thirsty, need to pee, boobs feel weird. Sometimes feel sick. Also starving the last few days at 11pm, like insane can’t sleep hunger despite dinner and snacks. I have bleeding though and it’s lighter than normal AF and not clotting, but i really don’t know if it’s AF come early as it’s a lighter than normal red/pink colour and it’s day 3. Losing my damn mind. Also testing negative but would have been 2.5 days after implantation cramps so not sure. Called my dr and no apts till Wednesday afternoon so this is just great 🤦‍♀️.

Jumping on here - im due AF on Saturday. I had EWCM about 5DPO (it was weird!) and all of Sunday I felt nauseous and had lower back ache (like muscle spasms in my lower back that still haven't gone two days later). Boobs and nipples are slightly sensitive but nothing out of the ordinary (my boobs are usually agony right from ovulation to AFs arrival!). I'm having some light cramps but again, nothing out of the ordinary before AF arrives. I'm also getting SO hungry but then when I eat I can't finish my food.

I never usually test but I really want to this month 😂 this is the one month I haven't tracked BBT so I think I'm either 8 or 9DPO, so not quite ready to test yet! This is cycle 9 for us, and we're on a countdown now for further investigations in January.

Dpo what feels like a thousand! I gave in and tested but used a cheap amazon test strip. Result was a vvvvv faint positive so going to test in two days time and hope for the best!

i'm out I think AF arrived... that would have been way too easy if it happened on month one of TTC, putting all the weird symptoms down to birth control hormones. Best of luck ladies fingers crossed for you all!

I'm hoping this thread is still active because I really need some advice. I had the copper coil removed 5/10/21 and my last AF just before that. Ovulated on 14th and dtd on 11th and 16th so either side of the date really. I'm now 5 days late for AF and have done what seems like a thousand tests all bfn and only the one really faint positive, but with bfn coming again after that so probs evap line or false or something. But my boobs are absolutely killing me! I've never had soreness like this before, usually get it a little bit before AF arrives but nothing like this. (Struggle to get to sleep because I can't get comfy with how sore they are!)
I'm just at a loss now because I've had probably 10 bfn in total now but AF is showing no signs of coming and with being late now, I thought I should have had a bfp by now but nothing. I just don't know what to do xxxx

@Trinall hope you're feeling better. This was the month I came off birth control, and my side effects were crazy. I have never felt anything like this before. It really might just be that simple for you. I was sure I was pregnant, but I wasn't (I am still testing it becuase it felt so real). Another mum on this told me she had the same symptoms as me, otherwise I don't think that i'd believe it was negative. She said it took her body 2-3 months to normalise. I'd rest up, let your body come back to it from the hormones and keep testing just in case. I'd also do ovulation tests because if nothing else you will be able to track what is going on with your cycle based on those levels. Good luck!

I think maybe that's what I'm doing, reading other people's symptoms and just agreeing I have the same symptoms too!
I just think it's bizarre my body is playing with me like this is if I'm not pregnant because it wasn't like my contraception was hormonal so I just don't get it!
I'm booked in for a blood test next Friday now so hopefully by then AF will have either shown up or even more hopefully have a bfp!!
Fingers crossed your body either sorts itself out or you end up getting your positive!!

Update from me - still no sign of AF but had two BFNs, so I think COVID vaccine has delayed my period, very annoying!

That would be so annoying if so!! How late is AF for you now??
Maybe try booking a doctors appointment for a blood test to give you hopefully a clearer answer of what's happening x

@Trinall I'm 5 days late now, I'm never usually late. Very odd! Will give it to over the weekend before I start contacting GP 😬

Hi @Peonies94 I am 6DPO today and really thinking positive this month. TMI but I have had a lot of CM, which I don't think I usually get and I've read that is a good sign apparently?

@beckybabyx ahh goodluck! Will you be testing or waiting for AF? I’m 1DPO today, so it’s going to be a long two weeks!

@Peonies94 I have some cheapies so will probably test a little early. My luteal phase seems to be 16 days so 10 days to go! What about you?
