@riceandwhisky I don’t see anything my lovely, I’m sorry 😔

You’re not out just yet though, stay positive. Even if it doesn’t end up being this month you can always try again! x

@Mrsbrooks1 When I got pregnant with my son (he also took 10 months to conceive) I had a HUGE panic attack 😂😂 Still lived with my mom at the time, was due to move out in the following months, and I got my SIL to ring her to tell her to come upstairs 😂 I had no idea how to tell her so just handed her the test! I literally didn’t stop crying all day!! I felt scared mostly but of course happy too!

This pregnancy I feel totally different, I feel so genuinely happy! I’ve had no feelings of ‘what the hell have I done?’ If you know what I mean? It’s been total happiness since that first faint line! ☺️

I hope your time is soon, sending you lots of love and baby dust!! How long have you been trying for?? ❤️

@L0ts 🤣🤣 I can imagine I’d be the same and hyperventilating 🤣🤣 this is our 4th cycle but we’re just not being careful rather than opk and temping etc. All though I am very aware of my body and ovulation so I do make more of an effort on these days. Aww I’m so glad you’re enjoying being pregnant again. I look forward to reading everyone’s journeys. Good luck everyone xxx

Mamastarz · 16/05/2022 20:51

@Mrsbrooks1 I was totally shocked when i got the positive test, i didn't expect it, if I'm to be honest and onli took the test as i just didnt feel myself, and then the worry of miscarriage has sat in, as I've previously had 5.

@L0ts No this isn't my first, but yes every pregnancy is different, but it is just a worrying time in these early stages but its great having someone at the same stage as myself to chat with.

@riceandwhisky I'm sorry but I don't see anything on your test, but that doesn't mean to say you are out yet, I'm keeping all crossed for you and sending loads of baby dust.

@Mamastarz @L0ts to be honest after I bought those speedily I googled them and they're 25miu as opposed to the 6.5 that FRERs are so if the morning one was super faint then that would have definitely been negative after the large coffee I had on my commute! I think I'll leave it a couple of days now, this isn't good for me!!

riceandwhisky · 17/05/2022 07:07

I think it’s the faaaaaintest thing ever - better in person but if you turn your brightness up all the way you can just about see it.
I did a cheapie this morning - I did take it apart only because the window was so scratched!

TMI alert but has anyone been suffering with an upset stomach? I’m putting 2&2 together and making 57 but I do usually get a bad tummy before af arrives, never this early x

Mamastarz · 17/05/2022 08:52

@riceandwhisky when i zoom in i think i can see the v f of line's, what strenght is the test is the the 25.

@Mrsbrooks1 How many DPO are you.

Hey ladies, well im not feeling super hopeful right now, said i wouldn't test again but I did, and it's not done me any favours, top test is Sunday (kind of dye stealer) bottom is this morning (non dye stealer) same brand test. And not one single symptom of pregnancy. X

OP posts:
L0ts · 17/05/2022 09:37

@Mamastarz Right, I’m going to probably sound super hypocritical here, but I’m going to try and go by logic..

I have done loads of googling about line progression, especially FRER tests (I know these are a slightly different brand but they look almost identical) and SO many women worry around this point because one day it’s suddenly not as dark.

Let me tell you, in 95% of the stories I read, everything was FINE!

There can be so many reasons.. liquid intake etc or did you catch a boost of hormones when you did the test Sunday? I hope you see what I mean but I hope you know that you’re feelings of worry are valid, it’s a scary time and I know I’d be exactly the same but I also know I’d want someone to tell me it can be normal. Well, I am exactly the same.. I’ve not done a test yet this morning, going to very soon and even after 6 days of positives I’m still incredibly anxious.

This is what I would try and do if I were you.. I’d probably try and say to myself ‘Right now I’m pregnant, I know the line wasn’t a dye stealer this morning like the other day, but lines on a test don’t really tell me anything’. I would also maybe wait until I was closer to 5 weeks and take a digital to hopefully see that 2-3 or 3+ weeks.

Hope you’re feeling better! I also don’t have any symptoms.. well, I’m still breastfeeding my son and my nipples are mega sensitive. If he wasn’t nursing still I’d probably not really be able to tell. Oh and insomnia, I’m awake for 3-4 hours in the night and have been for the last 4 nights.. That’s it. With my son I felt super pregnant at 4 weeks and felt like I didn’t even need to do the damn test to tell me!

❤️

Mamastarz · 17/05/2022 09:54

@L0ts Thankyou for making me see some sense, it's just the imagination runs away with you and you think all sorts, obviously with having five previous miscarriages it's hard not to think it's all going wrong, but you are right, im going to just get on with my day and take my dd out to feed the duck's.
But yes ill will do a digital when im at 5 weeks and hope to see the 3+.

Share your test picture with us when you do it. But you've definitely got symptoms there with the insomnia.

Such an anxious time indeed,
Thanks for making me see sense. X

@Mamastarz im 11 dpo with a negative test this morning so I think I’m out. But your tests look amazing! Honestly I really wouldn’t worry about the density of a line. A line is a line and hormonal fluctuations happen hourly. Congratulations 🎉 xx

L0ts · 17/05/2022 10:16

@Mamastarz I can totally see why you’d worry, especially after the miscarriages, so I don’t want you to think that your feelings aren’t valid. I’ve done two tests this morning, One Step cheapie and a FRER. The First Response is an ever so slightly dye stealer and even though that’s a positive thing, I’m worrying because the One Step isn’t much darker than yesterday? Can’t win 😂 So easy to focus on the negatives isn’t it? And like you say, let your imagination run away with you.

I promise that I don’t think you have any anything to worry about, that test now I look at it again is still VERY dark and is still stealing the dye. I also read that each test may not have the same amount of dye in them! So that too can play apart in the darkness of lines etc.

A day out feeding the ducks sounds perfect ☺️ here are my tests this morning..

Mamastarz · 17/05/2022 12:07

@L0ts You're lines are amazing 😊, I'd say in a day or two you will have a complete dye stealer.

Yes a morning feeding the ducks is what i needed, and then i done a higher strenght test just to see, this mornings is like 8 or 10 and this one is 20 (picture attached) so has definitely reassured me that bit more also. The next time i test will be with a CB digi.

@Mrsbrooks1 Thankyou, just having a total wobble this morning,
Can i ask what test you used, and do you track O..

Just an internet cheapy strip one. I do track mr cm and the of opk but I’m not tracking as in temping etc. I’m getting a bit worried to be honest as I’m 35 now and never had a sniff of a bfp 😳

Mamastarz · 17/05/2022 12:44

@Mrsbrooks1 have you contacted your gp and ask for the day 21 test done, to check that you are O.
How long are your cycles normally.

No but that’s probably a good idea. I get ovulation pain every single month but I suppose that doesn’t really prove I’ve ovulated. My cycles between 29 & 31 days although I did have a random 34 dayer earlier this year.

Mamastarz · 17/05/2022 15:03

@Mrsbrooks1 yes i would definitely speak with your gp, as it will clarify that O is for sure taking place, if you don't mind me asking how long have you TTC.

Im going to take a CB digi later the day with the weeks indicator. As all these lines are stressing me out, so am hoping (fingers crossed) for a 2-3.

OP posts:
Mamastarz · 17/05/2022 17:22

@Mamastarz Yayyy so pleased for you 🥰 Do you feel a little better?? I have one digital left and might wait till I’m a little over 5 weeks to hopefully get the 3+ and then I know in my head I can finally just relax a little 😂 Have you been to the doctors or anything? I was also going to wait until 5 weeks to ring them too.

I only tested with a cheapie this morning and I think it’s also starting to ever so slightly pull the dye. I know I shouldn’t wish for symptoms but it would be nice to maybe feel a little pregnant, you know? For reassurance sake 😂😂

Hope everybody is well today x

L0ts · 18/05/2022 09:42

I can’t believe the difference a week makes.. Just goes to show you should always wait until your period is late and the positive will be undeniable 😂

Mamastarz · 18/05/2022 10:48

@L0ts WOW that is super dark this morning, amazing.
Yes that's what I'm going to do, wait till a little over 5 weeks and use my last digi and hope for a 3+,
Yes I've contacted the doctor, as i need aspirin and higher dose FA.
Your line progression is super. I would say a FR would definitely give you a full on dye stealer now.
Cramping this morning too, and lower backache comes and goes (nothing to bad) and have been running to the toilet, so goodness knows.

OP posts:
Mamastarz · 18/05/2022 18:03

@riceandwhisky Have you taken any more tests from the other day, how are you getting on.

OP posts:
L0ts · 19/05/2022 09:40

So I did my last FRER today and another cheapie.. I think these are good enough lines for me to stop the testing now because I’m seriously going to make myself ill 😂

The pregnancy insomnia was at an all time worse last night, think I managed two hours sleep so I feel pretty damn rough today.

Hope everybody is well x

Mamastarz · 19/05/2022 11:49

@L0ts yes I agree no need to test anymore woth those lines, they are super super dark and a dye stealer, how far on are you.
Two hours isn't great, hopefully it will settle down soon.
The POAS is so addictive and really does mess with your head.
