@HRHXO and it made me laugh when he was squishing your boob and you told him and it distracted him so he couldn't finish - I had the same when mine was pulling my hair with his elbow without realising and I was thinking damn I don't wanna tell him and distract him so he won't finish 🤣 the joys of ttc!

My period was due on the 10th... still not arrived. Never been late by more than a day. I had loads of cramps yesterday so I thought maybe period is starting but nope. I'm 99% sure that I was pregnant but it wasn't a sticky one but thought even so, I would of come on by now. Going to ring the doctors today x

@laurenGame it's so frustrating isn't it! I got upset and annoyed but I tried to hold back because like you said it would only put more pressure on him!

Lmao I have fake boobs so when he was proper leaning on it it really hurt I thought my implant was going to go into my armpit! I had to say something 🤣😅

We have been having unprotected sex for 7 months now but only actively TTC for 3 or 4 months now. We are 30 and 31 and trying for our first. Most of my friends fell pregnant by accident or first time trying it's frustrating!
How long have you been TTC?

I'm on ovulation week got lower back ache this morning doing the odd opk but I'm on cd 19 and I usually ovulate between 17-21. Just fitting it in different times of day!

@HRHXO have been trying since feb but also had to miss about 2 months due to being apart for work trips etc.
ahh the friends who got pregnant on the first try! Why are there so many of them?? 😆Also watching fiends' babies really growing and changing so much - I remember my friends were pregnant with them when I started ttc.
It really reminds me how much time has passed since I started ttc :(

We're 34/41 so don't exactly have decades left. Oh well, just have to keep going :) testing this weekend so getting ready for more emotions 🤣

@Mummytobe93 ahhh that’s annoying! How many DPO are you today? If AF is actually due on Fri/Sat, there’s plenty of time for that white to turn around! 🤞🏻 You had so many symptoms, I have very high hopes for you this cycle!!! 🍀🍀🍀

@HRHXO ahhh I so can relate! 😂 But if TTC has taught me anything so far it’s to 1. Talk openly and honestly with OH and 2. If he has the “pressure” issue maybe try to not be overly obvious when the right time is and make it seem a bit more…spur of the moment? 😉 Also, I know you feel like you’ve missed an opportunity yesterday but it’s still early days! Really the static smiley is when it’s GO TIME!

@Squiff70 ahhhh what a day!!! 😬 listen though, if the spotting yesterday was IB, it takes 2-4 days after for the preg hormones to build up in your body to be picked up by a test!

@HRHXO if you both have time one evening, try seducing him. Sexy lingerie should do the trick. Have a nice meal then casually throw in the fact that you're not wearing any knickers or something. Get him hot under the collar

I’m 9 or 10 DPO (depending on which app I check) and AF is due between Sat and Mon (again, depending on which app I check 😂). I tend to trust Flo, as I’ve been using it for years, so Sun sounds about right for AF.
I POAS yesterday and got nothing, a BFN, so trying to not test till Fri at the earliest 😬😬😬
“Symptom”-wise nothing to report. Boobs are killing me. No CM, no cramps, no nothing down there. Oh and my BBT took another plunge this morning by over 0.5C. I’m pretty sure I must be doing this wrong. Or my temp is just off. Because there is no pattern here 😬🙈😂

@Danani thanks for trying (again) to scrape me up off the floor. I know I'm not out yet but with each BFN my patience for this cycle is waining. I know deep down you're right. For several days I actually felt pregnant (sore boobs, twinges etc) but now not so much. Only time will tell.

@laurenGame so many friends! I would have loved to have had my baby asimilar time to my brother having his or my friends but I suppose I'm not that far off really, a couple of year difference isn't massive.
34 is still young, I'm 31 so we do have time but it feels like I need to have my first sooner rather than later for some reason!

@Danani thanks, I don't even think I was putting any pressure on him but clearly I did! I mentioned last week that this week I wanted to DTD every day and he was well up for it 😂 hopefully we can get the job done tonight

@laurenGame @HRHXO SO MANY PEOPLE GET PREGNANT ON THEIR FIRST TIME TRIES - it is crazy - most of my friends did! I wonder how those same friends will find trying for their second? I honestly think you never really know the struggle until you've been through it and it has made me look around and consider the invisible struggle many many women are going through / have been through. People are so so pleased to share all sorts of pregnancy related stuff online but people DO NOT talk about the journey to conception, which is so often longer than gestation itself!

Omg I feel for everyone who’s DH struggles to either read the signals we send them when the time is right or can’t deliver the goods 👀
I know it’s a lot of pressure to handle, bless them, but god knows if I’m not preggo and have to try again next cycle, I’m not looking forward to the “sex on request” part 😂

@HRHXO, @laurenGame - ohhh I remember the sudden performance issues and the amazing reluctance to have loads of sex! I told him his 15 year old self would be so ashamed (probably not helpful).

It took us 10 cycles to catch with our first and by the end, DTD was a nightmare. It's one of the reasons I don't use OPKs any more - the static smiley put so much pressure on us!

This time we agreed to DTD every other day from cd8 to 18, since I know I usually ovulate somewhere in there. That seemed to really help - it's only a little more than normal for us, and it worked really fast - conceived 2nd try but unfortunately I miscarried.

Now trying to regain that chill approach, but work means we didn't manage to fully cover our bases this month, so not holding out much hope!

I don't have the energy for nice lingerie and make-up any more so my poor husband just has to cope with a frazzled mess. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

I was on citalopram for like 7 years. Came off it in the lead up to TTC by reducing slowly etc. I had an appointment with a perinatal psychiatrist before coming off them as they can advise women TTC on mental health meds.

Anyway it took me ages to come off the meds because i did it slowly... but because it's taking us so long to fall pregnant (like 7 months so far) I've now ended up relapsing and going back on them ! It's so annoying because if I'd have fallen pregnant straight away I could have gone the whole first trimester medication free before my depression relapse.

TTC is hard but TTC whilst having mental health difficulties anyway is doubly hard!

Sorry for the long rant!

I'm starting to feel better now I'm back on the medication and then i guess we'll just tackle next steps when (IF) I eventually do manage to get pregnant

@Mummytobe93 ok, see?! The hunger thing! Classic symptom! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 IDK about me tbh, I felt pretty optimistic DTD-wise, but…I feel absolutely nada. Nothing out of the ordinary. 🤷🏻‍♀️ 😬

@lemons44 I'm sorry to hear you're struggling with depression and had to go back on your meds. It's not truly known which, if any, psychotropic medication is safe in pregnancy or TTC because true trials would be unethical. I do know some meds do appear to be safer than others and the AD I'm on absolutely cannot be taken in pregnancy as it works on noradrenaline rather than serotonin. Most ADs are SSRIs with work on serotonin.

Amyway, be guided by your team of professionals on what is the safest option for you. A lot of it is benefit Vs risk which is not something I can advise on.

Is it possible to maintain a low dose, enough for you to manage your depression but low enough to stop if you need/want to?

I'll advise you where I can but feel free to send me a PM if you like, too.

@Danani when I had no symptoms I did a test at 13 DPO and got the strongest lime on a FRER I've ever seen. I was pregnant with twins. Just sayin'. No symptoms isn't necessarily a bad thing!

@lemons44 least you got in with the perinatal psych. They wouldn't even give me a look in in my area. They're very knowledgeable. I know people who have taken all sorts of mh meds while ttc/pregnancy so I know it's possible. Healthy mummy is more important though if your poorly baby won't be doing great either, same during ttc. Xx
