Hello all,

Today is my first month of trying to conceive my third. Me and my partner decided at the beginning of the month that we are ready for another child.

I am currently 4dpo I believe. According to my app, I was supposed to ovulate on the 16th however my clearblue ovulation test showed a peak on the 18th. I tested that morning and it was negative then that evening it was positive. Then the next morning it was negative again. I'm guessing my LH surge must have been a short one.

I'm not exactly sure when I'm due my AF as the dates have changed on my app due to ovulation being later than assumed. But, it is stating that I should expect it on the 2nd of Oct. And oh boy does that seem so far away. I am becoming so impatient. Everyday I'm forcing symptoms onto myself lol even though it is still so early and implantation has not taken place yet. This waiting game is sending me crazy. Time is going too slow.

I need some testing buddies. Is anyone else due around the end of this month?

How are you both doing? No AF for me yet did another test still negative but had some cramps so must be soon. Just want to get it over with now 😅

Still nothing, no spotting just cramps on and off. I’m getting my own hopes up every time I look and there’s still no blood. I’ve googled late ovulation and it is a possibility because I wasn’t testing for ovulation think I’m clutching though. I’m going to take another test Friday or Saturday if I’m still waiting for AF. I assume it will come tomorrow although I thought that yesterday 😅

Me and DH are actually thinking of not TTC until Jan now... we are so back and forth with the idea of a third.
And neither of us were disappointed when AF arrived!

I don't know what we are doing tbh! Had sex yesterday morning and I asked him to pull out!
He's more keen than me I think. Some days I think "yes let's do it!" And others I'm like "fuck no, two is so hard ..."

I don’t blame you, 2 is hard but mine are older and much easier now. My daughter doesn’t cause much hassle and my son is a wind up but he’s getting better and I know he would make an amazing big brother although he doesn’t make a very nice little brother. Second child syndrome lol easier now they are both at school.

Yes not out until I’m out I guess. Just this waiting around is driving me crazy!

TTC3 - cycle 4 - 9po with a BFN!!

I was convinced I was pregnant (so tired) however I was convinced I was pregnant last month Sad

Ok so I couldn’t wait any longer.... that’s definitely not my eyes. I would be 17dpo today and this is my first positive... maybe I did ovulate late. I think I’m in shock I haven’t even told dh. I’m going to have to go and get some more tests tomorrow 😰😂

@Nailingnow good luck 🤞🏻 I had a BFN 4 times and I’m still going to buy a test tomorrow because i don’t trust it 😂

@W0W123 Looking at that positive I'd say there's no way it can be wrong surely! :) have you told your DH yet?

@TTCyay yes I called him at work, he was a bit shocked it happened so quickly and said he will miss his games room 😂 I said he can build himself a summer house to escape the house!

First took two cycles and 2nd took 3 cycles.

I cannot trust any syptoms I feel, as last month I had every symptom possible - and then AF came !

How old are your two?

You have given me hope with all your negatives before positive!

Exactly he can, he does those driving games in the chair with the whole set up so it won’t just fit anywhere Either 😅 yes let’s hope it’s a sticky one time will tell I can relax now though 😊

@Nailingnow I was testing negative the day after my missed period I was sure I must have been coming on. Then I cramped all day and the next 2 days, so when I got gone from work I just couldn’t wait any longer and it was positive. I did another test yesterday a digital one and that was positive too. I’ve no idea if I go off my last period date for my due date or whether I go by the date I think I conceived because there’s a week difference. I guess I really won’t know till I have a scan.
What day are you due AF? It’s so hard to wait to test isn’t it 😂
Told my mum yesterday and she is not happy the messages I got were horrible. Everyone else is happy and said ignore her. But it still hurts and I was having a cry.

I know it is hard but dont let your mum ruin such fantastic news.

I am due on Wednesday and your journey is giving me hope for this month!

I am only just catching up now! Omg congratulations @W0W123 on your BFP! That is amazing news!! I'm thrilled for you. Yes, you must have ovulated later than expected. How are you feeling? Anymore symptoms? And I'm sorry to hear about the horrible messages from your mum. At the end of the day, it's your life and she will just have to get use to the idea you having another child. This is super exciting, have you booked your first appointment yet?

@TTCyay I can completely understand how you feel about going back and forth on whether to have a third. That's how I was feeling at the beginning of the year. I wanted a baby so bad then I changed my mind. But now I feel that it's a good gap for me and even though I struggle sometimes with my two - I do want a new addition to our family.

@Nailingnow my mum only had me and she seems to be of the opinion that’s the correct amount of children to have! I was so lonely as a child, I want a house full of them! I’m just ignoring her negativity it’s only her who is upset and she has no right, I never ask anything of her. Ever! Good luck with getting that BFP!!

@Tee93 thank you I was so shocked because I just kept testing negative, no idea what my dates will be, no I haven’t booked in I’ll wait a few weeks see if the baby sticks.
We did tell the kids though and we said anything can happen so we just have to wait. They are super super excited though! Good luck to you for this cycle!

@W0W123 mums can be funny.. mine can be difficult at times but even though she will not admit it her and my dad definitely wanted me to have a third! Me and my husband were sure we were finished at two and my parents would mention a third every now and then. It was on our wedding anniversary we both woke up horrified as we both had the exact same very life like dream that we were having breakfast in the garden (have never done this) and our third child was sat there with us Shock

And noww I have my BFP - due mid June Smile

We are happy with our decision to wait, I am also concerned about WTH my period is playing with as it's not due for 7 days, yet here is that trusty spotting again! So if I was TTC this would be driving me even more crazy! Especially as it starts off light pink so at first it had me thinking "oooooh implantation bleeding?" NOPE.

I'm wondering when I need to go to the Dr's about this as it's really unusual for me and it is driving me insane,

Sorry to moan again! Just needed to complain about it!

It turned out to be what I think is a chemical pregnancy - started bleeding yesterday afternoon and it is heavier than ever. Cried a lot but know many experience the same.
