Planning to test on Tue and would love some company. Anyone else planning to test then or next week? Would love some company and hopefully a bunch of BFPs!!

Out of interest why do people test before their periods due? I'm in month 2 of just going with the flow (just dtd every 2-3 days) and ttc after coming off the pill and it's never occurred to me to test unless I'm late but I see people do it all the time on mumsnet. I think I'd begrudge paying for tests I dont need and squinting to see if a line is there so early/getting a false negative because it's so early but maybe I should start!

Hey @IndiaMay 👋 Here is the thing- you’re absolutely spot on. But people here (me included) have no patience. Early detection tests can supposedly show pregnancy from up to 6 days BEFORE you miss your period. So it’s just such a temptation, especially as the TWW is always dragging so slowly!
If you can wait, then sure the day of AF or day after is best. 100%. But if you cannot…that’s a different story. 😬😁

I have no idea where I am in my cycle to be honest, I got married abroad last month and took Norethisterone to delay my period, my last period was 20th August so technically should be due on around about now if it hasn't mucked my cycle up too much! X

@crazyCatLady75340 @danani haha ok. I wasnt sure if there was a benefit to it or it was the usual thing to do. I'm just waiting for period to arrive and if it doesnt I'll buy a test (I'm probably just tight haha also dont want to add any extra days onto knowing I cant eat/drink whatever I like!)

Hey, planning to test on Tuesday too :) I think I had a veryyyy faint positive today but it was only a cheap test. Frer coming tomorrow so will have to wait for Tuesday to find out!

Can I join please? TTC # 3 and shall be 9dpo tomorrow. Feeling totally normal so just about counting myself out for this month, but I still can’t resist a FRER!

Unfortunately, I’ve caved in & tested this morning as I felt proper AF symptoms… it was BFN!🙄 Ive still got some tests left so I’ll be testing until AF arrives, but I wouldn’t be surprised if she cane before Thursday when I’m due, I feel very much like it can happen any day now.

If I’m not pregnant then I’m putting down all the unusual symptoms I’ve been having and potential short cycle to changing my vitamins this month. I went from “Pregnacare before conception” to some cheapies from Asda. That’s the only thing I’ve changed in my lifestyle/diet, compared to previous months. I had very little CM, no clear build up and LH surge and early onset of PMS.

Nevertheless, I’ll be testing with you ladies, I wish all of us BFP soon! 🤰🏼🤰🏻🤰🏽

I…am not sure if it’s a BFN. My head is telling me that it is, but I swear I can kinda see something on there!!! Ughhh shouldn’t have done this. I think I’ll wait till Wed morning to re-test. 😬

I've been trying 4 months - first two months my cycles were exactly 31 days then last months got AF on day 23 😩 convinced myself it was implantation bleeding for a while but it deffo wasn't.

I might have got a Verrry faint line yesterday so have some frer arriving today. Probably should wait till tomorrow to test but we all know I'll be testing as soon as they arrive 🤣

Hahahah love it! Ain’t nobody got time for waiting around for the appropriate time to do a reliable test lol 😂
My biggest symptom of the TWW: impatience. 😬😬😬

I’ve been thinking you know, FRER would work only for women who had early implementation and standard 14 days long luteal phase. Mine is only 11, max 12 days long, and with the implementation occurring possibly as late as 8-9 DPO, FRER could never work for me until the day before or the day of missed AF.

Unless implementation happens sooner for short cycles? I might as well research that whilst waiting for whatever it is to come 😂

I felt something 9 and 10 DPO, so today (11 DPO) was probably too early for me too??? Even though, AF is Fri, which would mean 14 day luteal phase for me.

Ughhh. I don’t know why I did that.
I was doing so well, staying away from my stash of tests, but just woke up this morning and was like “F*ck it! I’m POAS NOW!” 😂😬

Hi hope you don’t mind me jumping on the thread, I already caved and tested and I got what I think is a positive but after having a chemical last year I’m scared to trust it, I’m 12dpo. Fingers crossed for all you ladies

I have found my people… also caved this morning and used a FRER at 9dpo. I mean, obviously it was negative. Its an urge I can’t control. 😂
