I can’t believe that from 16 years old we are told to be soooo careful with contraception as even looking at a bloke could get you pregnant. Then when it actually comes down to it you can shag every day through your fertile window, take all your vitamins and supplements, and you still might not get pregnant for months and months. Oh and it turns out your egg only lives for 12 hours (who knew!)! I honestly think it is a wonder that anyone gets pregnant at all! The odds are so unlikely!

Hi guys, congrats to everyone whos got the BFP!! and good luck to us still trying. Im currently on the way to a follicle scan, I have pcos and ovulate very irregular so on letrozole. The last cycle i got pregnant first time but sadly miscarried. So hopefully it works the first time again, I should be ovulating in a few days so this scan should confirm that🤞🏻 hope we all get good news x

@ttconajourney thank you! Have to go back next monday to check if ive ovulated or if the follicles grown, really hope the medication has worked. Its a waiting game now😫 x

Been trying to conceive #1 for 1 year. Missed my period by 4 days... convinced I was pregnant and took a test which was BFN. Period arrived today 😭. Why is it so hard? This journey is affecting my mental health I am sure I'm depressed!

Anybody else feel like they're lives are on hold until they finally fall pregnant ?

I'm tired of watching all my friends fall pregnant so easily, and feeling like I'm the only one who can't.

@Bella2255 Hey lovely just read your message, just wanted to let you know your not alone, everyone's ttc jounrey is different and even though i'm pregnant now, i too haven't had a easy ride myself, missed miscarriage found at my 12 week scan, started to miscarry due to shock but haemorrhaged rushed to hospital went through all contractions, sickness was on gas & air in end showed my body wasnt fully accepting and ended up needing emergency d&c was all very dramatic and scary especially as was during covid so my fiance (now husband) couldnt even be with me, i then finally recovered and surprisingly fell again in march we was so happy but sadly was short lived and i miscarried around 6 weeks i hit a black hole and struggled to snap out of it, but i did, we were trying from april and had no luck until now, i'm telling you all this as i know seeing everyone's BFP's can be gut wrenching as I've been there (my sister in-law fell 2 weeks after my d&c and due her boy in October) but then also you never know what they too have been through to get their BFP, i really hope yours isnt far away and i know everyone says it but from experience as soon as i relaxed and distracted myself to my wedding plans (or any topic) i got my positive. chin up it will happen and will be even more special. xx

@LeeTTCRainbow thank you so much for your reply. I think every month which goes by I am losing more hope and it's hard to know how to deal with it. I am working from home full time and have been since covid hit which I don't think is helping. I'm consumed by my own small world. My wedding also postponed twice last year and so we instead decided to push this out and start focusing on trying for a baby, naively thought within a year we would fall but that does not seem to be working for us either. My best friend and sister both fell pregnant within 1-2 months and have now had their gorgeous babies. I do know everyone's journey is so different it just so happens the people close to my it was a very easy journey, and it does seem unfair how it's easy for some and not for others. I sound so negative but im struggling to pull myself out of it this month! I am sorry for your losses and so happy you now have your happy ending... it must feel so much more special after all your struggles. Thank you again for your reply xxx

@Bella2255 i completely get where your coming from, your happy with everyone but at same time frustrated for yourself and envious of others, ttc brought a horrid side out of me which i didnt know i had just pure jealousy and i found myself shouting at programs even when there was someone pregnant (as always seems a easy ride for them) telling them to f off haha, its totally normal to be feel down and lost but it will happen, are you using ovulation sticks? as i found that helped as we tried for 5 months before with no luck first month used them i fell for me it helped knowing when i ovulated but i know it can be the worse thing to do for others.

Thank you yes it is such a exciting but scary anxious time at the minute i think once been through a loss the next BFP is always tainted as worry takes over so hard to look forward to the future as so scared of it being taken away from us again but we will get there, having a early scan this time so hopfully good news and will reassure us. x

@LeeTTCRainbow Ah yes I am envious of every pregnant bump I see... 😆 I can't even imagine how amazing it will feel when it does happy and don't like to think about it too much as my mind runs away with itself! I will keep you in my thoughts and keep everything crossed for a successful pregnancy for you! I can't imagine how scary it must feel after you have experienced loss before.

Yes we tried ovulation strips at first but they seemed to suggest early ovulation... and then another month late ovulation... I found them confusing so went back to "trying every few days" without overthinking too much!

I have this month got ovulation sticks and also planning to track Temp. Want to give myself the best possible chance!

My partner is also taking supplements which have good reviews as his test results showed low first time around, and then normal second time around (after taking tablets). He has just done a third test so waiting for results back on that!

My friends keep suggesting I look at IVF but I feel that's too much of a big step at this stage? Not sure how anyone else feels about that but I'd like to try and fall naturally if we can 🙏🏻

Hiya! I'm on cycle day 21 so somewhere in the TWW but after last months 23 day cycle I have no idea when AF is due!

@Bella2255 Thank you doing my best to keep positive, sickness has kicked in today so that's helping.

Hopefully the ovulation sticks work better for you this month, i noticed i got slight back pain when i got my positive for ovulation, so many see if notice any signs of ovulation then check with a stick as as for this month i didn't use them just knew roughly when ovulated as had the back pain. helps to learn your bodies cycle i think.

For supplements i took the conceive + and we also used the lube. Have you tried either of these? x

I've got 12 days until AF is due but I'm not sure if I've already ovulated or not. So it's a bit of W mystery this month!

My boobs have become quite sore and I’ve been having a little bit of spotting. Although I had an ectopic in January and these were my symptoms then so fingers crossed it’s not that again

I’m any where between 3/5 DPO I did use OPK’s but unless you temp you actually don’t really know when it happened. I’m sure I ovulate the same day as my positive OPK’s or literally only a few hours later. I had the sharpest pain again which I get every month either CD13 or CD14. I had a neg opk CD13 in the morning, I usually test in the evening but couldn’t be bothered getting a bit deflated now it’s never going to happen. But I was lying in bed and low and behold the same sharp pain I get every month I had again the evening of CD13. Wish I’d done an evening OPK now. Then morning of CD14 big corking positive it was super super dark but I’m positive I’d already ovulated a few hours before. I am in my mid 30’s and they do say you ovulate sooner after your LH surge because of your age. I’d say that was true for me with this sharp pain every month I get. Wishing everyone BFP’s this month. I’m not giving this month much thought only dtd once in the evening of CD12 but you never know.
Swore I wasn’t going symptom spot this month either but I have sore nipples and nausea started today, sharp pains in my last bits as well started yesturday. We shall see 🤞

Me ✋ around 9/10dpo. Took a test yesterday and got a vvfl,not getting excited just yet. This will be our 5th BFP in 12 months....
