Hi all I am currently 1DPO.
Anyone else entering their TWW? Smile
or if you're further along in your cycle how many DPO are you and do you have any symptoms?
My period is due 20th of August.
Xx

(@Laurie95 also meant to add that the CB digital must be spot on then! It goes from approx date of conception whereas we all normally date from date of last period. So when it says 1-2 weeks it really means 3-4 weeks, and when it eventually says 3+ weeks it means 5+ weeks. Don't know why they designed it like that!! So 3-4 weeks sounds correct for your period dates 😊😊)

So two updates from me this morning...

COVID... confirmation came through this am - I'm positive 😥

TTC... I'm 7DPO today and period not due till next weekend according app. But I tested! I'm weak and I tested with FMU! And now I think I'm doing that thing I see so many people on these forums do and start seeing imaginary lines! 🙈 I know I should just wait!
Even a bit embarrassed to admit and share with you lovelies, but I will because I hope you guys understand my craziness, and as well as being crazy, I'm honest! And see if you can see it?

Can't feel any symptoms as feeling awful with Covid.

@hormonalhandbag aww sorry to hear about your covid outcome. How are you feeling today? Look after yourself ❤

7DPO is super early to test 😆 definitely wait a couple more days before you test again or you will drive yourself crazy with line eyes! But...having said that (I'm normally a sceptic) but there almost looks like a shadow of something if I zoom in!! Fingers crossed for you!

I'm 9DPO today and I think I will be waiting until this time next week, or maybe the Monday to test. Want to give plenty of time for AF to show up first as I just don't want to see a BFN!

hormonalhandbag · 15/08/2021 09:28

@SLT90 Totally shouldn’t be testing this early! 🙈
I think seeing Laurie’s early testing success hasn’t helped with my will power. If I’m neg this month when I move into cycle two I will have to hide my tests!!! And learn from this! Big time! #nowillpower #chocolate&pregtests
Gutted I have Covid.
I’m self employed / have my own business, and will lose lots of custom over the next 10 days while we isolate, after not earning whilst on holiday. 😩 Defo got it from our holiday.

Teaandcrumpets95 · 15/08/2021 09:29

@hormonalhandbag sorry you're feeling rubbish, hope it passes quickly and you're looking after yourself x

That is very early to test ( I completely understand the crazy though, I'm forcing myself not to test 😆)
Buuuut, i can see something on that test, not clear enough to tell if it's pink but I can see something- my dh also agrees he can see something, and he never sees anything x I'd give it a couple days (or as long as you can last) and retest xx

I see it!!!! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
hormonalhandbag · 15/08/2021 09:34

@Teaandcrumpets95 thank you lovely. It’s affected me in that I feel like I’ve been hit by a car. I ache all over. Headache. Feeling icky. Not so much the couch or the temp. Just been bed rest trying to feel better. It’s pretty annoying from a work point of view too as I will lose business after taking time off to get away with the kids 🙈

Should not have tested 🙈🤣
Honestly I’m a nightmare!!!!
Need the tests hiding!

Interesting that your DH can see something too, makes me feel a little less cray cray! Will hold off as long as pos before trying again (only have one other FRER!) xx

Teaandcrumpets95 · 15/08/2021 09:36

@hormonalhandbag I use him as my line eyes meter 😅

I done this for months... just the last two months I stopped as I had to stop was making me ill so I gave up just kept assuming it would be negative...

I would keep the test and then make myself crazy looking at it over and over and over until I made my self so upset.. so I just had to stop it wasn't helping my mental Heath

I'm not even going to say don't think about it (because it's all we can think about) as we want it so bad! Try and distract yourself for a couple of days and then test if you want or if you can wait till AF is due (I couldn't wait I was too impatient) 🌷

hormonalhandbag · 15/08/2021 10:07

@BitchFace21 I'm gonna put this down to cycle one over enthusiasm... Im sure when af arrives and I've been driving myself crazy with a line I think I saw at 7DPO, for seven long days... I will learn my lesson... you'd hope ;-) Thanks for words of wisdom I will try try try to take it on board for next month!!

Laurie95 · 15/08/2021 10:37

@hormonalhandbag I can definitely see a second line on that !! That’s what I’ve done just continued to test daily to see line progress. I hope your feeling better soon also try rest up and eat best as you could I had it but after day 3/4 I deffo started to pick up a bit.

And I feel if you have the tests in the house you take them but if you need to go buy them can’t put off a couple of days I have 0 willpower so I did struggle.

SLT90 · 15/08/2021 10:40

@Laurie95 that's what I do 😆 I just don't buy them and then I have no choice because I can't do one even if I wanted to! They cost a fortune and I'm trying to desperately save for another mat leave after the last one left me broke 🤣🤣

HopefulMaama · 15/08/2021 10:40

Hi ladies!
I’m currently 3dpo trying to conceive #3, AF due 26 Aug.
Wanted to ask if anyone else ever experiences ewcm AFTER ovulation. I don’t temp but use OPKs and each month tend to have some ewcm up to 2dpo - is this normal?

Sorry to hear about your Covid test! Hope you feel better soon. I had covid in October and it's horrible, just try and keep your fluids up!
I can definitely see a faint line! 😊xx

hi everyone I'm now 9DPO and I've ordered 2 first response tests which are coming tomorrow. My boobs are still sore! Yesterday my right nipple was actually in agony, it hurt even when it touched my clothes. I haven't had that before so it's either im pregnant or I need to go to doctors next week.. xx

OP posts:
SLT90 · 15/08/2021 13:39

@louise1997 no boob pain here yet which makes me feel like it may not be my month! Time will tell I suppose! I'm trying hard not to compare to my last pregnancy symptoms because I know they can differ but it's so hard!!!

When do you think you will test? I feel invested because we are exact cycle buddies 😆

@SLT90 my tests are coming tomorrow but I think I'm gonna try hold of testing til Tuesday because I want to use first urine of the morning, and I will be 11 DPO then! but I don't know if when the tests come tomorrow I'll be able to resist xxx

@louise1997 yeah FMU sounds like a good shout as predicted AF will still be a couple of days off!
I'm just going to wait and see if AF shows. It's just hard knowing how long to wait as I think with my peak this cycle that it should definitely be the 20th but I know my cycles could be a good few days longer so I'm not sure. I'd say I will be very tempted by Sunday or Monday if there is still no sign!

wannabeamummysobad · 15/08/2021 15:22

@SLT90 I'm 11/12 DPO CD24 (I have a 25day cycle). Keeping AF won't appear today or tomorrow. Due to test tomorrow though not sure if it's best to wait until Tuesday. It's a minefield and I'm so on edge. TTC #1 cycle 1

So I'm a little worried that I've ruined my chances by doing somthing really stupid!

Currently 8DPO, went to a friends bbq yesterday, went with the intention of just drinking tonic water and pretending to pass it off as a G&T buy hiding me "putting in gin". Only we started then playing drinking games, and the whole group are big drinkers that would have questioned to high heaven if I wasn't drinking ( we are in walking distance so couldn't say I was driving)

Anyways me n DH stumble home worse for wear at 3 this morning. N I'm now nursing a hangover.

I do feel really guilty about this, but at the same time you hear of people not knowing they are pregnant and having a drink.

I'd like to clearly state if I knew I was 100% pregnant, I Absolutly wouldn't have drank! I know it's not good. But when your in the tww limbo is this really that bad???

I wouldn't worry, I got really drunk 1 DPO and I got really drunk again on Friday night just gone so 7 DPO 😩 I didn't mean to either times but hey ho. Lots of people drink in the TWW and go on to fall pregnant and have healthy babies. The baby doesn't attach to your blood steam til about 6 weeks so they won't be affected. I've read it could affect implantation but loads of people get drunk and still implant! X

Not long to wait for you now!!! How are you feeling? You could probably test anytime if AF due today so it's entirely up to you!

I really wouldn't worry! As you say, lots of people wouldn't know they were pregnant at this stage. If you have conceived then they wouldn't have been affected as the placenta won't exist yet. I'm not a big drinker anymore but if it makes you feel any better I was booked on a wine tasting tour in California and ended up being about 6 weeks pregnant at the time. I still had sips of each of the wine types and ended up having a margarita once lunch time too as I knew I would miss them, but I didn't finish the whole drink. I then didn't drink the rest of my pregnancy but I know technically you can have a drink here or there

@SLT90 @louise1997 thank you both. This does help and does make me feel better. Literally thought I might be flamed for it!
