August Cycle Buddies??

Hi all I am currently 1DPO.
Anyone else entering their TWW?
or if you're further along in your cycle how many DPO are you and do you have any symptoms?
My period is due 20th of August.

Hey all, watching and joining this thread as AF is due next Thu - Aug 26.

We're on our very first cycle TTC. I used the Clear Blue ovulation tests and go a static smiley on Aug 10, DTD that night and I think today should be my 8 DPO?
I don't know if I'm being crazy and in my own head, but I've experienced pangs of nausea over the past few days; feelings of heaviness and fullness; fatigue and lower back aches...all sounds very on track for AF....or BFP.
I haven't done a test yet, as I know it's probably way way too early still, but wondering if I should do a FRER Sat morning (5 days before AF) OR try to wait and do one next week / 1-3 days before AF.... Any advice?
PS I have a drawer full of tests and it's such a temptation every time I go to the bathroom!!!!

@Laurie95 thank you, congrats to you too! I am having pangs of nausea and having proper hunger pangs like when your stomach is empty and rumbling, especially first thing when I wake up. I am peeing more, boobs are a bit sensitive/tingly, and I am completely exhausted 😴😴😴

@Shterber if you can wait, wait a bit nearer but I'm a hypocrite saying that cos I started testing at 9dpo, thought I saw the faintest of lines what was almost invisible but they continued to get darker after that. Mine was from embryo transfer though and I'm pretty sure it implanted about a day and a half later as my temperature went up, I got a sore throat and felt a bit crappy and that's usually a sign for me

@Ems2021- thank you!!! I'll try my best to hold off, but time has literally been DRAGGING. Oh my days, I never knew time can go this slowly before LOL!! I honestly feel like I've had a personality transplant - before we decided to start, I was like "I'm cool, these things take time, let's just have fun". Boy oh boy, was I wrong hahaha. I'm very conflicted because I really really am dying to test, and these tests supposedly can tell you 6 days before missed period and literally, everybody and their mother have gotten those double lines at 8 or 9 DPO.....but then, I know I'll feel like crap if it's a BFN.

@Shterber I'd be doing the frer on Saturday 🤣🤣🤣 but remember it's still early so you wouldn't be out if neg x

@Ems2021LMAO!!! I have FRER, Clear Blue early detection normal and digital, and clear blue how many weeks. I have in total 6 tests....for now. Would you say I start with FRER? Does it matter? Would I test daily from Sat or every other day?

@Laurie95 I'm currently 8DPO but that's a bit of a guess just going with feelings and history... not the most accurate I am aware! But it's early days so I WAS trying to play it cool but have also realised I am in now way "cool and relaxed" and am indeed, tightly wound and ready to BURST.

I had frers, clearblue early detection, some ic, and a clearblue digital and none of them detected it as early as the frer. Still had negatives on clearblue for 3-4 more days! Every other day from Saturday sounds good haha I'm a total poas x

I found out what was causing the cramps.... not gonna like I'm only 12dpo and I'm in shock, I really expected to see a bfn.

I'm feeling good just can't stop eating and got that horrible metallic taste in my mouth all the time 🤮 apart

I'm feeling good- well I think I am. It's my first pregnancy so not sure what "normal" is... So far my only symptoms are

• light cramping in the early hours of the morning. I've woken up around 5am every day for the past week.
• very hot at night but cold during the day

-feeling like I have discharge/wet myself but go to the loo and nothing.

• I smell EVERYTHING!
• feeling a little tired. I've had to take a few lunchtime naps. Far from ideal.

I've never spotted (implantation or otherwise) - think is this good 🤷🏾‍♀️

@wannabeamummysobad that’s the same as me I’ve been up at 5 near enough every morning for a week and can’t sleep well during the night tossing and turning it’s draining.

I’ve got super bloating like my belly is massive my jeans hard to get buttoned up 😂 usually before my period my belly bloats but not this bad.

Also pains in side have eased off I’ve took it super easy today and tried not to do to much moving around. Does anyone know when getting my bloods done tomorrow will they tell me my results if HCG has risen or will I have to wait ? I really hope they don’t have me waiting to Monday then I’ve got a full weekend to worry 😭

I'm feeling weird tbh x cramping randomly throughout the day (which I've read is normal) and today I've had a bit of nausea- initially I thought it was the shock this morning but I'm getting waves of it coming and going not enough to throw up but enough to notice x

14DPO today and got my 2-3 on CB digital 🙌 taking that as a good thing things are moving in right direction

Hey all! I've missed loads because we've zero phone or Internet signal in the caravan/town we are staying in - very odd! It's kept my mind off the TWW at least. Will catch up with all the messages later but just dropping by. AF is due tomorrow I think as I will be 14DPO. I think it could go either way but I wouldn't be too surprised if I'm pregnant. I've been so bloated and very very mild nausea the last 2 or 3 days and it reminds me how I felt with DS1. Either that or its all the rubbish I've been eating while on holiday 🤣🤣 not long now until I will see!!

I thought my period came early yesterday evening as it was a big pink when I wiped to go lol. And I was having some real cramping. Thats all stopped though today so I'm hoping it's implantation bleeding! Periods due Sunday so will see

Morning ladies. 10dpo today and a bfn this morning. I know it's still early but I am supposed to be going out with friends tonight and was hoping for a reason to cancel, now I'm torn.

Only DTD 4 days and 2 days before ov because ov was 2 days later than app predicted (going from ov pains).
Already feeling like it's not my month.

@XxBlueBoxX I'd go see your friends- it's good to have distractions x

And easier said than done try not to get too disheartened as you're not out til your out! Maybe give it a few days to retest or see if af comes? 😊 xx

@Teaandcrumpets95 thank you, I was just worried about drinking. I think ill try and sneak in as many soft drinks as possible just in case. AF not due until Tuesday.
I feel like I jinx myself by testing early.

Ok, I took the test apart out of frustration and threw it away a couple of hours ago. Just pulled it out of the bin (because I'm a crazy person) and I see this.....
This is invalid right? I can't take any notice surely because it's after the time and pulled apart? Plus there's only colour at the top. I totally should have left it in the bin ARGH!

@XxBlueBoxX personally i drank through my TWW and only stopped on Monday when I got by BFP.

Right now you aren't sharing a blood supply so it doesn't make a difference. Each to their own I guess- maybe go out and stick to mocktails/ soft drinks? I definitely found it stopped me thinking about what could be the outcome of my TWW. Good luck!
