I'm 7DPO today (I think) and driving myself mad with symptom spotting....

Is anyone else in the same boat?

I've only ever found FRER on boots. But I think you can order them from there online. They've always been the most reliable for me but I'm using cheap ones this time because of the residual hcg so an early test would just make me more confused lol

@line123eyesalways I got mine from Amazon, they were two for around £6 but had to wait a while for delivery. Everywhere near me just does clear blue, which I find are never a clear (ironically) as others!

@line123eyesalways yes they're 25mlU/ml sensitivity, I don't really understand that, says hcg may be detected with this test the day after the missed period.

@chasingtherainbow1 I may have to find a boots on my way home and pop into one!

@charl881 I don't think I can wait for the delivery haha! I just want to know now! Same as me, everywhere is clear blue... I may have to get one of those for tomorrow..

@Lauraliverpool hmm? Surely it can be detected before that with 25miu?!

@line123eyesalways I'm not sure really? Read 99 per cent accurate of detecting pregnancy from the day of the expected period with that sensitvity.

wow I've never had sore boobs like this, feel so nauseous too and could fall asleep any second! If this is AF then she's cruel haha

@line123eyesalways it's sounds good 🤞 my two pregnancies always started with really sore boobs! I also got really bad cramps like I was about to start my period at any moment.

This time I have pain in one boob but not the other. I was on the pill for years and have not had a natural cycle since TTC so im not sure what is normal for me tbh.

Funny isn't it how we wish for painful boobs and cramps 😂

@line123eyesalways I'm excited for you to test!! I felt tempted just now, I come home for lunch and I've still been lightly cramping but no AF. But I held off! Really want to wait till AF is due.

Does anyone else finding taking a test is quite nerve wracking? 😂 I can't remember how often I tested with #1, but I do remember holding out till the day after AF was due when I got my positive.
We need some positives on here soon 😁

@chasingtherainbow1 A lot of my friends have had the same too! I think it's a big giveaway but I don't know whether it's just an extra horrible AF coming! I have no cramps anymore though! I'm the same regarding the pill so I don't know whats normal. I know, I never thought I would be wishing for that haha!

@charl881 I'm so nervous. I'll need to go out tonight and get one. I hope they're stocked well as there are so many to choose from haha . I'm very nervous!

@MamaSJ15 I feel sick with worry I'm so nervous! (either that or the sickness is another symptom haha). I think I'm just scared it's going to be negative and I'll be let down. Have you got tests at home you could take? x

Yeah I do, I bought some last cycle. I have one frer and 2 clear blue (which I would use to confirm if frer was positive).

@MamaSJ15 I know, I can't help it haha! I think it's just all the symptom spotting and weird feelings to get a negative test and know it was all in my head, does that make sense?! Also where I've never been pregnant before I just don't know what to look out for!

Hopefully your shops will be better stocked that ours, all the cheapy ones near me are constantly sold out! And no FRERs to be seen.

@charl881 I felt like mine were too until I walked down the stairs and my boobs were in agony haha.

I hope so. Think I'm going to head into a bigger town and into the big supermarket there so they should have a better selection!

I really like the boots test strips 5 pack as they've always been so accurate for me. But there's none in the boots near me and I've checked online and there out of stock everywhere.

Annoying as these were the ones I've been monitoring my remaining hcg with.

I think we really are! I’ve promised myself that next month I’m not testing until the day AF is due. But in the meantime that means I can test as much as I want this month

afternoon Ladies - just catching up on the thread - sorry to read the losses and happy to read all the lines and symptoms!

I'm with you all on the symptom spotting. "I wont be like some people and become obsessed" I said at the start.... what a mug haha. I now instinctively reach for the preggo tupperware by the loo to p*ss in each morning!

I'm not 14dpo and no AF as of yet. I've had so many random symptoms - today I have heartburn. I am getting increasingly emotional at the tiniest things, it's doing my head in. My boss is very confused!

I've had what I would describe are fairly close to period cramps, but in different places to usual. and they're sort of short sharp stabbing rather than than the sort of pulsating cramping I usually get. I've also had very vivid dreams every night for the past few days.

What I haven't had is sore boobs or nipples which is really weird because it's always something I get before AF so lord knows where that's gone. Is NOT having sore boobs a sign? Who knows anymore! It's such a mixed bag isn't it?

I definitely think anything different can be a sign so fingers crossed for you! Vivid dreams is definitely a sign. Not sure whether you’d get heartburn this early on but you never know!

@ginandgiggles haha a tupperware by the loo is a good idea! When are you planning to test? I've got a pounding headache that started about an hour ago which is great.... It is such a mixed bag!! x
