Is anyone else in the same boat?

I am only 5dpo it’s sooo long as I thought I ovulate earlier but it wasn’t a true ovulation until cd 20 so feels like ages for me xxx

line123eyesalways · 12/09/2021 19:24

@Charl881 me and you both! I'm seeing faint lines everywhere haha. It's good that you won't be as disheartened! I won't either!

@Kallie92 I bet! When's Af due for you? X

Kallie92 · 12/09/2021 20:55

Not till a week on Tuesday I think which is ages away 😂

line123eyesalways · 12/09/2021 21:42

@Kallie92 I've found it really easy not testing this month, now AF is nearly due (tomorrow!!) I've tested twice in a day! I'm sure I can see faint lines on everything hahaha

Charl881 · 13/09/2021 07:22

Well AF arrived for me early today! At least she didn’t keep me hanging around like last month. Onto the next cycle. Good luck to everyone still waiting.

line123eyesalways · 13/09/2021 07:45

@Charl881 at least she didn't keep you waiting! Good luck for the next cycle.

AF still hasn't arrived for me yet! Apparently it's due today so I'm hoping she arrived on time too! X

hey everyone,

@charl881 better early than late. Last month was ridiculous.

im due tomorrow i believe would make it a 30 day cycle. i did test at 11dpo it was a negative. i have no symptoms watsoever, no cramps or anything. not holding out much hoe really i just hope af doesnt take forever to come like last month

line123eyesalways · 13/09/2021 12:07

@MadamMaltesers is that your usual cycle length?

I tested this morning with a digital and got negative, I'm due today so definitely think I'm out! Getting mild cramps and sore boobs! X

I thought I was 8DPO today but looking back on my calendar I'm only 7 🙈 god this month is taking forever! It doesn't help that I don't know how long my cycle is naturally as both my miscarriages were conceived first time. Last month seemed to be my first natural period at 32 days but I'm not sure if that's even correct due to remaining hcg in the last cycle. Hcg was out of my system a few days after my last period though so hopefully we're back to normal now.

My boobs are aching a bit and just noticed it more whilst walking the dog on my lunch. Got that last month though. I do feel like I have some cramps which is also indicative of both period and pregnancy for me so there's just no knowing! AF due Saturday, not sure if I can hold out that long for testing

line123eyesalways · 13/09/2021 13:04

@chasingtherainbow1 that all sounds promising! When do you think you'll test?

Sore boobs and cramps are the same for me too! I keep thinking AF is going to show but then the cramps go! I've had three negative tests though and AF due today so the likelihood I'm pregnant is very low! Xx

@line123eyesalways yeah I just don't want to get my hopes up. I've read you can use the position of the cervix to check for pregnancy before BFP but I'd have absolutely no idea what I'd be feeling for and what it is like normally. I'd like to say I'll wait to test until at least Thursday but I'll probs do one on Wednesday provided AF doesn't come early!

That's so crap that they're all negative. We just got to keep trying!

My doctor at the EPU told me an interesting theory about conception which has given me some comfort. He said there's three common types of women when it comes to conceiving; ones who get pregnant fast and everything is fine, ones that get pregnant fast and have miscarriages and ones which it takes a while to get pregnant.

He says those who get pregnant and are successful straight away are just very very lucky. The ones who get pregnant fast and lose babies are 'hyper fertile'. This means in cases like mine, my body seems to accept every pregnancy even if there is something wrong with the embryo and it eventually causes miscarriage. People who do not succeed in getting pregnant for a while, there's nothing wrong with their bodies. In fact their bodies are doing what they're designed to do which is reject embryos which aren't viable before the pregnancy is detected.

I guess we're all on the same journey but our bodies all work differently and sometimes our circumstances may seem unfair and drawn out, we just have to keep trying and eventually we will get what we want and deserve 💕

line123eyesalways · 13/09/2021 14:04

@chasingtherainbow1 I wouldn't know where to start checking my cervix either! Fingers crossed for you!

That's a good way of looking at it! Hopefully when it happens it'll all work out well. Xx

@line123eyesalways honestly dont know for sure but its been going up and down since my pfizer jab anywhere between 26-30 day cycles. in my past pregnancies i felt different a week before testing so im pretty sure im not

chasingtherainbow1 · 13/09/2021 14:24

I know how ridiculous this is but I just did a FRER because I have about 5 and have been getting loads of niggly tugging cramps and I've got the faintest of faint line. I mean it's quite possibly an evap but it did come within a couple of mins. The photo is about the best I can get because it's that faint 😂 It's keeping my hopes alive

Lauraliverpool · 13/09/2021 14:34

@chasingtherainbow1 that's interesting to know what the epu doctor said, can see why it has given you down comfort. ♥

chasingtherainbow1 · 13/09/2021 14:35

Think it's more visible on pic in black and white bit in person it's a lot more visible

Lauraliverpool · 13/09/2021 14:37

@chasingtherainbow1 I think I can possibly see something really faint, becoming a bit of an expert looking at tests 🙉

chasingtherainbow1 · 13/09/2021 14:37

@Lauraliverpool yeah I think it's helped me chill out a bit thinking that there's something wrong with me and expecting that we're going to get it right first time

chasingtherainbow1 · 13/09/2021 14:41

@Lauraliverpool will test again tomorrow or Wednesday. Seems early to be a BFP so maybe just an evap.

Mamastarz · 13/09/2021 14:50

@chasingtherainbow1, interesting what you previously said, the doctors told you, very much resonates with me...i can definitely see the line in both those pictures, fingers crossed for you 🤞.

Wishing everyone else luck this month, and if your out this month you never know what next month may bring 🤞❤. X

chasingtherainbow1 · 13/09/2021 14:58

@Mamastarz yea I found a lot of comfort in what he said and I hope others on here might find comfort in it too no matter what situation you are in or have gone through.

Will see if the line progresses in the next few days but after previous experience, it's hard to feel happy at the thought of a possible BFP. Think I'll keep it to myself and not tell my partner until I'm sure it's not an evap

line123eyesalways · 13/09/2021 15:03

@chasingtherainbow1 I'm sure I can see a faint line too!! I can see it in the coloured photo!

Fingers crossed it's the start of your BFP!!! Xx

OP posts:
chasingtherainbow1 · 13/09/2021 15:15

@line123eyesalways yeah there's definitely something! Guaranteed I'll test again tomorrow or Wednesday and it will be negative. It seems too early tbh and I know when I ovulated due to taking ovulation tests. Will let you all know!

line123eyesalways · 13/09/2021 15:35

@chasingtherainbow1 I think it's going to be positive!! To see something that early and within the time frame is promising x

OP posts:
Mamastarz · 13/09/2021 15:54

@chasingtherainbow1, i agree with @line123eyesalways, to see a line that early and within the time is definitely something positive. Sending loads of luck for you. X
