I'm 7DPO today (I think) and driving myself mad with symptom spotting....

Is anyone else in the same boat?

@charl881 nope. The first one (cheapie) was after a 2 and a half hour hold around 12pm and the second FRER was around 5pm after an hour and a half hold! X

It’s so hard as my frer photo looks so similar it’s like a horrible line they seem to have, fingers crossed yours could get stronger xx

Hey just came across. Long time ttc. The frer have a horrible indent line unfortunately which looks like a positive (some are really bad) if it doesn’t have colour it’s probably an indent.
To have symptoms you normally would have enough hcg to be showing a clearer positive (if symptoms are related to pregnancy ie. hcg)
Periods can be delayed during ttc , a cruel unknown as why, perhaps the slight stress of it.
Not sure if you monitor ovulation but there are ways to pinpoint it through opks and that way you can tell exactly how many dpo you are and whether you are truly late or not

@line123eyesalways if AF doesn't arrive then I'll test again, like I said earlier, I think I would only be 11dpo today so there's still a chance. I want to wait till Sunday but I'm sure I'll do it again tomorrow!

So strange that there’s a few of us all waiting and due around the same time, hopefully one of us at least will get a one BFP.

(I know it’s not really that strange given we’re on a conception board but you know what I mean 😂)

@charl881 hahah I think that too! We're all getting negatives (or faint positives) all due on the same day and no AFs yet!! X

No it’s kind of gone away I even had a tampon in this morning I was that convinced xx

@Kallie92 how strange!! I think it's literally just the hardest waiting game for us all now! I have no signs of AF at all... and my boobs/nipples are so sore! I caved and took another test (I really don't know why) and it looks the same as this mornings. I'm definitely waiting til Sunday now x

@MadamMaltesers is that line the control line? Looks to be in an odd place but Ive never used a test like that so I'm not sure. Does is show in the instructions what it should look like?

Hey girls, yesterday's doctors phone consultation was a bit of a waste of time, I've asked for the day 21 projesterone blood test cause the last one was in 2019 and she suggested to try and have sex through out the month and not solely rely on the ovulation tests so not wait until I start testing for ovulation, so I think from when AF goes going to start then.

@MamaSJ15 yes its in a odd place right down the middle. yes it does have instructions and shows what it should look like but the picture and thw actual test look nothing alike. Il have to get another cheapie tmw.

@Lauraliverpool no that's not helpful is it? You don't want DTD to become a chore, do you think you'll be able to do it throughout the month? Or will you find it a struggle?

@line123eyesalways I had an idea it would be, I've bought it starts with the egg book, got it from ebay and its really good, so going to have a proper look through and it mentions vitamins to take so going to look into that.

@MamaSJ15 exactly don't want it to become like oh well we have to do it tonight cause its the time now, want it to because we want to be together in that way, well I've tried to explain to my husband that if we can to try little more regularly, and I'm thinking like how much should it be in the month because nothing happened then after I got the peak, maybe should have been for few more days after, I think we might be going wrong in that we sort of wait til I get high on the ovulation tests, but don't want to put pressure on us either and take the fun out of it.

You’re fertile 5 -7 days before ovulation because that’s how long sperm can survive. Realistically I’d start dtd from 5 days before, on the day of ovulation and day after . I found dtd alternating morning and night increased pregnancy likelihood. If you know when you usually get peak opks you can start dtd leading up to it. There’s no need to dtd all month long ! Some people like to every second day so that they don’t have to track ovulation and that way you’re covered. Otherwise , if you do track ovulation you don’t need to do that (unless for fun!)
I also found using a lubricant helped pregnancy rate ( I got pregnant a lot but suffered mmc) can’t remember the name but make sure you get one that’s safe for sperm.
Legs up in the air after , some day it’s a myth but even when I did iui the clinic told me to do that. Worth a try ! If you want any help with opks, tracking ovulation etc let me know. The most accurate way to track is using bbt
