I'm 7DPO today (I think) and driving myself mad with symptom spotting....

Is anyone else in the same boat?

Jumping in! I'm 8dpo and have had some crampy feelings today which I'm hugely hoping are implantation pains. However this is first baby, first cycle, so I know that I'm probably being over-optimistic.

Other symptoms include feeling very warm and tired, but that could just be me being hopeful

I think I'm massively overthinking it, but I got one of those tests that works at 6 days early. My current cycle is 24 days and I'm on day 19 currently, so I could test but I'm also worried that I should try to stick to 28 days (I've been on the mini pill for pretty much my whole adult life so don't normally have periods at all). And I know that it won't pick up hcg until implantation which if I'm lucky would have been today...

Can anyone help or just tell me to stop thinking? I was going to test on Saturday originally

Hi @Borgonzola I'd wait til Saturday so you don't get an inaccurate result! I waited til yesterday at 13DPO (2 days before my expected period) and I had a negative so I think that may have even been too early. I've had every symptom under the sun and no af cramps yet and it's due tomorrow. I was on the pill too and this is my second cycle off so I know how it feels! X

@Borgonzola I would hold out as long as you can, especially as it’s your first TTC, you don’t want to fall down the POAS addiction hole this early on! It’s a expensive and stressful habit. The 6 days early would very much depend on when you ovulated and how long your luteal phase is.

@line123eyesalways I can’t really see a line but all your signs are sounding so promising. I’m so tired I feel like if I’m not pregnant I’m probably getting ill 🙄

@charl881 I got a ClearBlue pack off Amazon for £10 that includes one 6-days-early test and two digital 5-day early ones which I'd recommend as what I've seen in Boots/Superdrug etc is daylight robbery

@charl881 it's official, I've gone mad haha! They are all promising which is making me see lines I think! I've got two FRERs coming tomorrow if AF doesn't make her appearance overnight. I've got an awful headache and sickness today again! Oh I hope yours is pregnancy and not illness!! Xx

@line123eyesalways some people don’t get positive until after there missed period you may have implanted late? 🤞aww I no I’m sure I seen a shadow but worried will test again Friday and my that point it should be darker! This part of the tww is the worst waiting for your period!

Clear blue are the worst for indents frer are so correct x

@Kallie92 I could have! How long after ovulation does implantation usually happen?! I'm going to test again Friday too! I think yours will be darker on Friday.

Don't they say implantation can be anything between 6 and 12 days give or take. With my previous ones, I didn't get a faint line until 14dpo.

Praying my painful boobs and extreme bloating are a sign and not just AF getting ready

I'm trying hard not to associate everything I'm feeling with possible pregnancy, I had EVERY possible symptom you could think of last cycle so I was convinced I was pregnant and AF turned up right on time 😭 I hope for your sake @line123eyesalways that it's not the case for you!
I've not felt very much this time, except a light crampy/dull ache feeling, so no idea! One day to go!!

Girls, can I ask how many times do you try each month?

@Lauraliverpool I kind of Dtd leading up to ovulation most nights and then the night after but everyone is different it only takes the once and sperm can last up to 5 days!

@chasingtherainbow1 I hope so! I'm so bloated too. I'm getting a few cramps though so could be AF. I'm so hot as well!!

@MamaSJ15 it's crazy what your mind can do to you! So easy to convince yourself! Is your AF due tomorrow?

@Lauraliverpool we DTD every day pretty much. Think we only missed one this cycle!

@Kallie92 if nothing has happened this cycle, going to try more often the next one.

@line123eyesalways I'm thinking if I'm out this time, of maybe starting to try after AF has been.

@Lauraliverpool it only takes that one time though! You may not be out of you DTD round ovulation time x

@Lauraliverpool my partner was working away a lot when we've tried before and only dtd once a week on a weekend and we ended up pregnant twice. As long as you time it around your ovulation it doesn't have to be on that exact day

And to add, we dtd deed twice this cycle. Once on the first day of cb flashy face (CD 14) and once on static face (CD 18). I think I O'd on CD 19.

@kallie92 I'm either 9 or 11dpo (not completely sure on Ovulation), but AF due tomorrow.

@Lauraliverpool we were trying to DTD every other day through the fertile week but I think it was a little less this cycle.

I've tried to do a 'relaxed' cycle this time, I haven't used my app, or stressed too much about it and tried to make DTD a bit more fun and less 'we have to do this cause it's my fertile period'. Hoping it's made a difference 🤞

I've got a few cramps today, very mild and an achy lower back! My boobs are still so sore! I've got some FRERs coming today (if AF doesn't make an appearance)! X

Good thanks, still no sign of af. Havent done a test for a few days now. il get a cheapie one done later.
