Hey everyone.
I’m on month 10 of ttc my second.
Really struggling!
Anyway we just had a nice holiday abroad and ovulated in that time so haven’t thought much.

Currently on CD21 and have a 28/29 day cycle every month.

I started bleeding last night when I wiped but nothing on pants. It was dark red 😞same again this morning nothing on pants not a full flow. anyway I just wondered people’s experiences with implantation bleeding? I am a spotter before af but never this early! Maybe 5 days before af at most!
Im definitely too early for af as I’m only cd 21! Just wanted some peoples advice on this. Thanks !

Thank you @Laurenxx94 ☺️ this is actually only my first cycle actively trying, so this is all very new to me!
I think I'm going to see if the bleeding comes back, if it doesn't I'll test again in a couple of days!
Congratulations on your positive test, all my fingers are crossed for you! 🥳

Laurenxx94 · 31/07/2021 15:01

@Nicoleamdavies thanks very much. Did you track your ovulation at all? Xxx

Nicoleamdavies · 31/07/2021 15:04

@Laurenxx94 Only by using my period tracking and doing the deed everyday in the fertile window it gave me 😂 ha. X

Laurenxx94 · 31/07/2021 15:16

@Nicoleamdavies I would recommend opks, they definetely help as I found the app was always a few days out the first few months so was totally missing it! Xx

@Laurenxx94 Thank you! I think I will invest in some just so I know exactly when is the best time! 😊 I feel so silly for wanting it so bad even though it's only been like a month of trying 😂 x

Laurenxx94 · 31/07/2021 15:44

@Nicoleamdavies it doesn't get any easier lol.
The clearblue flashing opks are good with my experience but are a bit expensive. we have been trying for 10 months it doesn't get any easier if u need any advice let me know! I would also recommend taking some vitamins too x

OP posts:
Nicoleamdavies · 31/07/2021 15:51

@Laurenxx94 I will take a look into which ones I can afford, thank you! And yes, I'm pretty on it with my vitamins and I've been adding the extra folate the past few weeks, so hopefully that'll help! I'm trying to be as prepared as possible, but there's so much information out there! Ha x

Laurenxx94 · 31/07/2021 15:57

@Nicoleamdavies definetely u will know best. Do you have any children xx

OP posts:
Nicoleamdavies · 31/07/2021 16:00

@Laurenxx94 Nope, no children! So this is completely new to me 😄 I'm only 31, but still worrying about my age and that I'm getting too old 😅 do you have any children?

Laurenxx94 · 31/07/2021 16:04

@Nicoleamdavies yes I have a 5 year old with a previous partner unplanned so I would say it's new to me aswell lol , 31 is still young I wouldn't worry too much! When is your AF due ? X

OP posts:
Nicoleamdavies · 31/07/2021 16:07

@Laurenxx94 Yes, that planning part is so strange to me! My partner still wants to just take it as it comes and not try to over plan it but I want to go into super planning mode! And my AF is due on Thursday....so I few days yet! What about you? X

Flossy1982 · 31/07/2021 16:11

Laurenxx94 · 31/07/2021 16:29

@Laurenxx94 that line is excellent 💓 so excited for you. Will test again on Monday - you’ve made me feel positive xx

Sunnybeam · 31/07/2021 19:16

Can someone help put my mind at rest? I did make my own post but it's been ignored so maybe I though I didn't put enough info in. So I'm on CD 29, I was supposed to ovulate on the 28th and expect my period in 11 days. This morning I found a very small amount of very dark brown blood on my underwear and faint brown after wiping a few times and now nothing at all throughout today, if this is implantation bleeding then that's put me at 6dpo as I only DTD with partner 6 days ago and last night, does this sound like it could me IB?

Flossy1982 · 31/07/2021 19:49

Hi @Sunnybeam do you have long cycles? I’m confused with the cd29 as regular cycles are only 28 days long?!
and if you are due to ovulate on 28th - assuming you did you are only 2/3 dpo not 6 as that’s just 6 days after you DTD. Therefore it’s too early for implantation by the dates you are giving but I think they might be a bit confused possibly?

Sunnybeam · 31/07/2021 20:06

I had the mirena coil taken out in October last year so ever since then my periods have been really irregular but are slowly starting to level out as the months go by so that's what's making me think that my period app may have gotten my ovulation date wrong, this is why I'm so confused, I'm so exhausted today, I've had a nap and still feel drained, I feel off also and have a metallic taste in my mouth along with that tiny brown spotting this morning, this is why I'm so very confused about how it's happened so fast, thankyou for replying 😊

Flossy1982 · 31/07/2021 20:09

@Sunnybeam no problem, I’m no way an expert and things are even harder when dates are up the wall to know. All I can say is that I’ve had every pregnancy symptom going and not been pregnant but I’ve also had some & been positive so the truth of the matter is only time will tell & a test 💓💓 sounds like you have possible symptoms but they could also be just normal PMS too. It is a nightmare that drives all women mental 🤣

Sunnybeam · 31/07/2021 20:18

@flossy1982 tell me about it, I've had IB once before with my DS1 but that was literally like the start of a period which only lasted a few hours and only filled the tip of a tampon, this one is the same but it's just dark brown 🤣 I wish I could show a pic but that would be TMI it doesn't look that great! We definitely deserve so much more appreciation for all of the things we have to go through 💓💓💓

It is literally so annoying that so many PMS and pregnancy symptoms are the same 😂

Laurenxx94 · 31/07/2021 21:14

@Sunnybeam hey your more than welcome to join this chat 💜

I can only
Go on past experience.
First of all are you tracking ovulation?

I mean, it's a hard one I have spotting every month and this month especially from 6-9dpo and was convinced i was out but just got my positive test today at 12dpo I had a slight line yesterday but not very noticeable.
All your symptoms could go either way it does sound like it could be pms or pregnancy symptoms.

If you dtd 6 days ago you could of possibly ovulated then but maybe ovulated the day later if you did concieve because I always found dtd before ovulation would give u the better chance if that makes sense? When was your last period? X

@Flossy1982 glad your feeling more positive , have u had any more symptoms or spotting?
Are you going to retest xx

TakeYourFinalPosition · 31/07/2021 21:36

@Laurenxx94 If you have diagnosed cervical erosion already, bleeding on wiping is pretty common. I had the same - once at 7w and once at 10w. It was pretty scary, but apparently well known that the hormones in the first trimester cause the cervix to bleed if there’s already erosion.

I’m 20 weeks tomorrow and all is well Smile best of luck to you; too, congratulations on your line!

Laurenxx94 · 31/07/2021 21:49

@TakeYourFinalPosition thanks for that. I do have a cervical erosion doctor diagnosed it maybe about 8 months ago.
So did your bleeding happen just randomly or after dtd or anything?
I had some spotting 6dpo-9dpo which I'm hoping was Implantation now I've got my positive!
Im also hoping my line progresses im so worried due to having no line progression last time! Did you do a few tests when you found out?

Congratulations 🥳 all is well then?

I've admitted defeat this cycle 😞 the bleeding pretty heavy now and I can't see it stopping!

I'm so confused though, I've always been so regular on my cycle! It seems like such a weird coincidence that the first month I try my AF decided to shift a whole week 🙄
