Help, Implantation bleeding?

Hey everyone.
I’m on month 10 of ttc my second.
Really struggling!
Anyway we just had a nice holiday abroad and ovulated in that time so haven’t thought much.

Currently on CD21 and have a 28/29 day cycle every month.

I started bleeding last night when I wiped but nothing on pants. It was dark red 😞same again this morning nothing on pants not a full flow. anyway I just wondered people’s experiences with implantation bleeding? I am a spotter before af but never this early! Maybe 5 days before af at most!
Im definitely too early for af as I’m only cd 21! Just wanted some peoples advice on this. Thanks !

No advice but I'm the same boat as you!! I hate the not knowing. Baby dust ✨🤞🏻

mummytoolive · 26/07/2021 16:46

Unfortunately all you can do is watch and wait if the bleeding doesn't get any heavier do a test in a couple of days if it does them it seems to be a very early irregular AF for you x

KateColx · 26/07/2021 22:47

I had implantation bleeding exactly a week before AF was due, similar to you it was a wipe of dark red one day and a tiny bit the next day and then nothing else was really. I never used to spot before AF though. Fingers crossed it's a good sign for you 🥰

Laurenxx94 · 27/07/2021 08:55

@KateColx thanks did u have cramps? I literally feel like my af is coming and this is 3rd day of spotting only on wiping ranging from pink to dark red x

KateColx · 27/07/2021 12:38

@Laurenxx94 probably more of a dull stomach ache than cramps, and the bleeding was maybe only once or twice a day for maybe 3/4 days. X

Similar to me just a waiting game now x

@Laurenxx94 I’m a spotter before AF and when I fell pregnant I didn’t spot so when I spot now I straight away assume I’m out. I’m 9dpo and been feeling sure it’s my month with dull aches for the last week, sore nips, picking up on smells I don’t usually, vivid dreams and a general feeling but today the spotting appeared - very minimal just on the odd wipe and although my head says this month is out my heart is saying maybe just maybe it’s implantation 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Laurenxx94 · 27/07/2021 14:13

@KateColx thanks for that xx

@Flossy1982 I'm a spotter too, I'm even spotted the month I had my chemical but every month I spot it's about 4/5 days before at most this has been from 6dpo which was cd 20! About 8/9 days before af which is why I'm so annoyed lol!
When r u due on? Fingers crossed for us both! Xx

@Laurenxx94 oooh that’s interesting you spotted the month you were pregnant - sorry for your loss though, it’s awful when ttc to end in a loss.
So I’m not due on until next Wednesday by my book but Tuesday by the app. I’m regular 28 day cycle and always have brown discharge or very light spotting anything from 4-8 days before and it’s intermittent, barely there and exactly what everyone describes as implantation bleed so I’m never totally sure until AF turns up but I just went by previous experience that I didn’t get it.
When checked out i was told i get what some people get at the end of AF at the start and as I have small fibroids outside of uterus it could be them with hormonal changes and nothing to worry about but my AF only counts when full flow which works out with my ovulation dates. It’s the worst waiting game known to man :(

Flossy1982 · 27/07/2021 15:11

Also @Laurenxx94 that is super early. I always spot 9dpo onwards

Flossy1982 · 27/07/2021 15:14

Although I’m CD20 as I recorded ovulation pain & ewcm this month so it recorded Ovulation on CD11 - earlier than usual but I don’t normally record those symptoms just the test

Flossy1982 · 27/07/2021 15:17

Do you know when you ovulated?

Laurenxx94 · 27/07/2021 15:20

@Flossy1982 ah right I see!
I'm really similar to you. Apparently I have a cervical erosion which is just like a little area of my cervix which is prone to bleed if irritated! So that's what causes bleeding after sex and possibly to do with pre af I'm getting referred back to my gynaecologist tho as I previously had dermoid cysts which usually aren't anything to do with ttc but want to get my checked over , my partner has a spark analysis tomorrow he's aloready had one and it came back slightly low so had to get a repeat 😞
We are just back from holiday so we literally had sex 2/3 times every day for a week during ovulation I personally think it's too much 😂 but never know. We used the conceive plus the month I conceived but haven't used it since.

I usually start spotting about 9dpo too so 6 is super early, also it's totally away this afternoon whereas it's been there since Sunday. Getting cramps in middle of abdomen and on off boob pain! All AF symptoms so it's a pain not knowing! I'm due on Tuesday too would be good to keep in touch as we are cycle buddies 🤞❤️

Have you recently had a Covid Jab? It can mess up your cycles.

Flossy1982 · 27/07/2021 15:31

@Nat6999 I’m not sure who you mean but I had my second one at the beginning of June and my cycle was normal that month.
@Laurenxx94 it’s interesting because if I hadn’t logged the ovulation early I would be 7dpo which like you is really early for spotting so maybe just maybe it is implantation 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 I don’t think anyone can be 100% on ovulation unless temping I think. Surely I’ll come on early if ovulation was early?
It’s going to be a long week!!!

Flossy1982 · 27/07/2021 15:32

@Laurenxx94 I’ve also have dull aches low tummy & fuller boobs with slightly sore nips which is not usual for me in week 1 of tww

Laurenxx94 · 27/07/2021 15:38

@Nat6999 that's interesting got mine middle of June and first cycle was ok but definitely
Something to think about? Thanks for that!

@Flossy1982 how long have you been ttc? Hoping it's good news for u. X

Flossy1982 · 27/07/2021 15:41

@Laurenxx94 3 years!!! :( and we don’t have age on our side both 38 - we spent 14 years living our life and doing all the things we wanted before finally settling down 🤣🤣🤣 we haven’t been the best at trying to be honest and after our ‘pregnancy unknown location’ during the height of COVID last year we were traumatised but we are back in the game and I’ve got better at monitoring and making moves lol. You sound much more active than I am so keeping everything crossed for you. Have you been trying long? Is it your first?

Laurenxx94 · 27/07/2021 15:45

@Flossy1982 that's a long time sorry to hear that!
Do u use OPKS?

I have a daughter with previous partner who's 5 and my and my current partner have been trying 10
Months feels like forever xx

OP posts:
Flossy1982 · 27/07/2021 16:28

@Laurenxx94 yes it is but we didn’t really think about it - we just stopped using contraception and said we’ll see what happens and then fell pregnant first time round on a random quickie 🤣🤣 only one time in the month! After all the trauma we were told we would likely conceive quickly afterwards but we didn’t and then I got more advice and realised the whole extent of trying to conceive!!! Sometimes you are the lucky ones and sometimes not. I’ve not really talked about it before and just gone with the flow but now I’m taking it seriously. I do use OPK’s and they are always solid smiley on CD12 so it logs that I ovulate on CD13, my chart without OPK’s says CD14 and my symptoms say I ovulate on CD11 so I’ve got to broaden my horizons with DTD 🤣🤣🤣 we are so busy and so comfortable that we are not the best at DTD but we always make time for each other after AF finishes but still actually do it for fun rather than baby making so I blame us for not being in it to win it enough but we tried that and got very stressed with each other and disheartened

Flossy1982 · 27/07/2021 16:29

@Laurenxx94 10months is hard too - I didn’t realise how common it was to conceive because typically all my family & friends just look at each other and fall 🙄

Flossy1982 · 27/07/2021 16:29

Common to find it hard I mean

Laurenxx94 · 27/07/2021 16:45

@Flossy1982 that's a good way to look at it definitely ! I would go with the opks, remember dtd up to 5 days before too which is best time, fingers crossed for us this month keep me updated on symptoms xx

OP posts:
Flossy1982 · 27/07/2021 16:54

@Laurenxx94 yes please do, if I go by OPK I’m 7dpo not 9dpo which is very early for spotting like you so now it’s interesting again 🤣
