Here is the bus where anything goes, and chat isn’t just TTC it’s anything. Ranting very much encouraged to her things off your (are they sore boobs?!) chest. The last bus had loads of work promotions too & we’ve still got interviews so hopefully it’s a lucky bus in more ways than just making babies.

We are here to help and support each other & anything goes. We’ve had losses, heartache & some super fertile short ride passengers so welcome all.

@vil10 exactly what @inkypaper said! It can fluctuate a fair bit with stress as well so they'll just want to double check it. For a prolactinoma I gather it has to be very elevated and not just borderline - so will be interesting to see what the results say! High prolactin can get in the way of conception though, that's why breastfeeding often prevents pregnancies. As for what levels to check against in general - the paperwork from the NHS will give the normal levels for each thing they tested normally.

Oh and very important for OH to keep the swimmers at body temp - they usually advise to pop it inside your shirt against your body to keep it warm.

Note to self, stop checking for af, food starting to feel irritated

Well weeks annual leave started with me getting irritated with DH as it appears he's uncapable of cooking a meal without messing up my lovely clean kitchen 😬😅

@Lexber aw I can imagine! It's so shit isn't it! I'm 11dpo tomorrow so if my rhr rises tomorrow I might test in the morning, but don't know if I'll just feel sad!

@kaylsd thanks... I'm really nervous, OH has to work so it's just going to be me which I hope will be ok. I have no idea what to expect, all I got with my letter was that they want fmu sample and a basic form with just my name and address filling out? I'm super scared they gonna turn round and blame my weight, or be arsy because oh couldn't attend. Would be epic if they tested and I was pg 🤣 cd 23 atm and got few minor cramps so prob af due imminent

@Dollybird89 it was the first thing they pulled me into do was drop off my lovely urine sample which was in a Tupperware box 🤣🤣 and weight and height to calculate my BMI which was 25.5 so I was happy with that to say in June it was 27 but I got into my mindset of switch my wine nights with cheese for dilute pop and a baby bel light 🤣, don't be nervous though! If you've got any questions I'd take in some in advance if you've got any at hand :)? I talked my consultant off to death 💀

@Laurenxx94 Give it another 24 hour before testing and maybe try test at another time of day some people find evening readings better than mornings? My predictions with teddy & fay is fay is going to be loyal even though she's very fuming with him and won't let him live it down but I've got a feeling she'll stay loyal! Same with Millie and Liam but I think it'll come to blows when the other side stories come out espesh with Liam, could have chucked my slipper at tv when I saw him kiss!😣 what do you think will happen 🙈

@kaylsd my BMI is above 50 .. it was originally over 70 but I been working on that, do they do any physical examination at first appointment or is it all just talking?

@Dollybird89 I had a physical examination of feeling my stomach / lower pelvis & cervical with speculum to check if that appears normal, you've got this girl sounds like you've been doing so well already keep it up ❤️❤️

@vil10 if it's a little bit high they'll most likely just ignore it - if very high they might send you in for an mri to see if you have a prolactinoma on your pituitary gland. This can then be treated either with meds or a small procedure. Very manageable overall I believe and certainly fixable!

@kaylsd yeah il test on Sunday going to get more tests. Just spoke with someone who tested on Wednesday and had the exact same line as me and everything and AF showed for her so I have a feeling it's maybe been an evap or indent 😞

What about love island though? I've never sobbed at a tv programme but that was emotional to watch! Xx

@Vil10 so when mine came back high(er) the GP referred me to the Endocrinology department at the hospital. The consultant there listened to my medical history, looked at the results and said he needed another blood test to check if it was a stress response. So I had to have a cannula put in, the nurse took my blood, then I had to lay there with the cannula in for half an hour before she took it again. Basically, just having your blood taken can create a stress response, so by using a cannula they can see if the level drops or stays the same. If it went up, the consultant said I would need an MRI to check for a microprolactinoma as my levels weren't high enough to suggest a big one (if there was anything there). He was satisfied after those last blood tests that it wasn't one. If your test results showed prolactin levels in the tens of thousands, it would probably go as @Juno231 said and you'd be straight in for an MRI. Mine was around the 1500 mark or something, I think, and they released me with no further treatment as it'll likely sort itself out.

Went to bed at 9.30pm last night as I was so knackered from the jab still but only managed to fall asleep at 2am! Thought of you @Franklydear - you seem to be awake less at night atm though?

OH was out at work drinks last night and didn't know I managed to pick up a ps5 after work. Set it all up last night and had it running overnight to transfer our files over from the ps4 + downloaded the game he's been dying to play on it. All so it would be ready to go once he got up this morning. Omg you should have seen his face when he entered the living room 🤣. So giddy and happy, like a boy on Christmas day!
