Midwife booking already done and dating scan happens to be on my daughters birthday! Seeing as today is my OH’s birthday it all seems a bit weird 🙈 maybe it really is meant to be x

Hope everyone is doing okay. Still here and following, just conscious not to post lots of pregnancy related stuff.
We had our twenty week scan yesterday and all good. Just want to say to those TTC, hang in there, your time will come ☺️

@Theawkwardblonde congratulations to you, quite the milestone - did you find out the sex?

For bfp ivfers - I was told to carry on progesterone until 8 weeks (only a couple more days) did any symptoms change for you when you came off? I can’t wait to see the back of these ‘messaries’ to be honest! Half hoped I could stop immediately after viability scan…

@Theawkwardblonde yay so pleased everything is going well for you! I don't know about the others but for me seeing pregnancy related stuff from others who have struggled is different, I enjoy seeing it and it gives me hope!

I'm 16dpo now and temps keep dropping but af is nowhere in sight, no pain or cramps or bloating or heavy feeling like I usually get before so she's going for a sneak attack this month by the look of it! 🙄🧙‍♀️

I agree @Marvellouslymadmum I enjoy seeing the success stories in this thread.

AF has arrived today and I am in agony! F*ing bitch! Am also peeved as by Monday I will be half on CD3 and way through AF!

@polejunkie interesting, I was allowed to stop after my viability scan but every place is different it seems.

I still don't quite believe it's happening. People are shocked when we tell them it took 19 months with very low AMH as they assume it happened quickly. We didn't find out sex as tempting as it was. I think our logic is it may be our only one (due to issues TTC) so we want it to be as special as possible, so will enjoy the surprise ☺️

@becarefuloutthere wow that's flown over for your 12 week scan! All very exciting!

@MIW01 sorry af arrived abs you're in pain, I'm nearly there - started cramping about 10 minutes ago and now I'm doubled over in agony searching for the strong pain killers 😩

@becarefuloutthere I was put off by the low temps I knew it meant she was on her way again 🙄

@Theawkwardblonde I totally get that, I had to find out the sex of my two when I had them I was just too impatient lol

@Theawkwardblonde what was your AMH out of interest? Mine was 3.9! From what I understand having researched it means that it doesn't impact TTC naturally but does affect IVF because they can't collect as many eggs and to focus on quality, which I've been doing throughout this journey tbh!

@MIW01 my AMH was 7.9 or 7.4 if I remember rightly and I'm 29. Consultant advised it was more in line with a 40 year old so I was panicked.
We were told it wouldn't affect natural TTC but like you, told it would affect ivf.

@Theawkwardblonde thank you. I'm 35 and was told it was more in line with someone over 40 but I told them over 2 years ago I have a family history of early menopause so I'm really cross about it! They told us to expect 3 or 4 eggs from an IVF cycle and to focus on the quality. Fiancée has a varicocele so we're going to get that repaired on the 8th and then if this round doesn't work we may have a shot of it working naturally and improving our chances if we do another round. The worry is my chances of IVF working with my eggs is diminishing very rapidly!

@MIW01 if it helps my AMH in December was 5.2 but given my ivf response I wonder if it had gone down since and I'm now pregnant naturally.

Period arrived so into the next cycle. Only had 3 days if spotting this month which is good!

Has anyone been put on Clexane as part of their treatment? It's a blood thinning medication. I was prescribed it Saturday, I think because of something on my immune test results (I should ask more questions) I'm not exactly sure why I'm taking it! Hcg was still doing what it should be so it wasn't that.

@MIW01 yes my mam started menopause in her 40s so I think we have a family history too.

@Motherofkittens28 didn't realise you were a low AMH buddy also! It's so disheartening when you see the low number but it goes to show you can still conceive with low AMH.
Do you have a history of MC? I was put on aspirin when I fell pregnant. I know it's not clexane but they wanted me on blood thinners as an extra precaution with my history of miscarriages.
