BFN this morning, did manage to wait to test until the day before AF due, thanks for the advice ladies. Haven’t had any symptoms this month, plus after 7 cycles of BFNs I’m not getting my hopes up now each time. I think I’ll be total shock if I do ever get a line!

@JemRose sorry to hear about your bfn, and yes I can relate to not feeling as devastated now. How many cycles have you been ttc?

We are away on holiday in July, so maybe the reduction in stress will help, and that will be our month.

Have also booked an acupuncture session with someone specialising in fertility who a friend recommended. Anyone else tried acupuncture?

@Lealu I've booked acupuncture but haven't had a session yet. My first was booked for Tuesday but she's just emailed to reschedule - bit annoying but means I can see whether this cycle is successful before spending money on it!

@WantStickyBean hiya I was asking a little while ago about wether to get the vaccine, and I went ahead and got my 1st dose, and had a completely normal cycle to follow, so with you on that one, doesn’t seem to have put me out!xx

@mummytoolive how many dpo are you? And when are your next lot of tests being delivered? Fingers crossed for you x

Question: as im not entirely sure of exact day of ovulation (just dtd when ovulation sticks showed high) when is the soonest I can do a pregnancy test for a 28 day cycle roughly to possibly show a bfp? I think i may be around 8/9 dpo. I feel so impatient 🙈

@abbs1 they say 12-16dpo is best xx

@abbs1 I too am on a 28 day cycle and dying to test! I also have no idea how many days DPO I am... I'm thinking around 11 as of today I'm thinking to test on Wednesday which by then ill be DPO 15... have you had any symptoms as such?

Not really anything yet. Feel like im symptom spotting a lot though.

Hello all,
I’m new here. Well I’ve lurked on for awhile. Had copper coil removed and we decided to give it a try from March/April. But thing is, husband and I have been so busy! We are now moving out of London too and he’s been in the new town sorting out the numerous house fixes since middle of May so we haven’t even been living together.

Anyway I’m nervously typing this now at 1030pm cos my period is 3 days late. 4, tomorrow. We’ve only dtd once in June, literally on a day he came home to sort some bits out before returning to the new town to oversee renovation works a couple days later. We also have a co-sleeping 3yo so.

I’ve bought a test and intend to do it tomorrow. But I’m so nervous and curious and bewildered? So I need to just say it out somewhere.

@feelsnew first of all welcome😊.Everything sounds exciting for you at the minute! Let us know how you get on if you do do a test tomorrow 😊 there's been quite a few BFPs this month. I'm really hoping it's my turn this month 🤞🏻

@Nai86 thank u. I’m really sleepless at the moment and thinking to watch a tv series to keep my mind off the nerves. I have all my usual period symptoms though -bloatedness, sleeplessness, dry skin patch on my skin that turns up every month for the first few days.

@feelsnew l've had a few symptoms that I feel have been way too early for AF. As strange and as weird as this sounds lol... I was driving earlier and a car registration caught my eye has it had 'BFP' in it 😂 a sign.... who knows? I can say this is my first month tracking everything and focusing really hard ttc #1

The women in this group have been a huge help for me and I'm sure they will be for you! x

I’m new to mumsnet. Just joining now as in TWW and just have this very strong ‘knowing’ that I’m pregnant - not even a feeling, just a knowing. I’m sure people will say that’s crazy... but I’ve also read that some people just knew and then got their BFP. Did/does anyone else have this?

We have a dc already, luckily it did not take very long to conceive her (had about 4 unsuccessful cycles - started acupuncture - got instantly pregnant but had an early miscarriage and then conceived my daughter straight after, so might be coincidence but I believe acupuncture helped). Anyway, so from TTC then I know the feeling of thinking I’m pregnant and then not being pregnant, which in hindsight I think for me was a bit like dating a guy that isn’t into me!! Deep down you know it but you analyse every text and what does he mean etc? Until I met dh and just knew, no more analysing, it just was right.. so that’s my metaphor for how I’m feeling just now re being pregnant. As I’m typing I’m thinking this sounds nuts! I have also been awake since 4.30am and just cannot sleep so I might be a bit sleep deprived here. Of course am aware that if I get a BFP it might not last - had a miscarriage before but atm still have the ‘knowing’. Anyone in the same boat?

@AlmostLondoner so sorry you're worried. Are you meant to be further along than what it says on the cb test?

@SATCfan I do know what you mean, but I'm trying really hard not to overthink this cycle. Last cycle I had a triphasic BBT chart, cramps at 8dpo and was feeling really hopeful then AF arrived bang on time.

Interested to hear more about your acupuncture, I'm just about to start treatment.
