Anyone else 7dpo today? Trying to decide how many more days to hold out to test... Tested positive last month at 10dpo but got fainter each day and then AF came a day late. When do you start testing, or do you just wait?

I am 6dpo today. I am trying to hold until Tuesday 8dpo. I also had several faint lines last month but then AF came.

I might just cave tomorrow, I love peeing on the sticks 😅

Wait, wait, wait it's torture both ways but this way you don't spend a fortune on tests and drive yourself mad squinting for faint lines :)

Though I'm currently CD7 and so getting my POAS fix from OPKs

I just seem to have zero self control. Last month I literally told DH in the evening I wasn't going to. But the next morning had done an FRER and cheap test before he was even downstairs .

So I posted Thursday about my spotting before my period, started Wednesday and was still spotting this morning. I always get 2 days spotting before AF arrives so didn't think anything of it.... AF due today so tested at 12dpo 🥰🥰

@JemRose @AlmostLondoner good luck with holding out to take your tests!! I’m at 6dpo. We are away Thursday & Friday, so am trying to decide whether to test on Wednesday (9dpo) or Saturday (12dpo and 1 day before AF due on Sunday). Anyone have any recommendations?!

We’ve been TTC for just over half a year so it’s gone from being a relaxed, see what happens, to starting to feel upset and worried about it all. Trying my best not to think about it too much but this TWW has been really getting to me 😞

@Lealu I would wait until 12DPO as you may get a negative as it's too soon to test at 9DPO if implantation has only just happened or hasn't yet happened. It's hard but try and enjoy your time away!

I totally get that feeling whereas I'm the opposite. I was really "on it" when we first started trying. I came off the pill in December and didn't get my period until end of January. I got really obsessed over it all. Still am a bit now but have OCD so that's normal for me!

It's hard to wait until testing but I've made the decision not to test unless my period arrives as I find that easier to deal with than a negative test, if that makes sense? Xxx

@Sam8582 hey! Yeah I think I was more relaxed after a few months of ttc and the cycle I conceived I was very relaxed, are you going to test early? I have my fingers crossed for you xx

Have you tried yoga or something? With my first I was doing videos according to YogaYin, she has a free channel on YouTube, really helped me.

New to all this!

Husband and I are on month 5 TTC. Was very chilled to start but the longer it's taking the more anxious and scared I'm getting.

Ovulation is meant to be today (I haven't used OPKs) and unfortunately hubby is away so DTD over the weekend instead.

I'm now thinking way ahead. My friend asked me to be her bridesmaid in March 2023 and already calculating the last date I'd want to TTC so I'm not pregnant/just had a baby on her big day!

It's so scary not knowing if something is wrong.

You can’t alter your baby plans for a wedding that’s over a year away! Dh suggested we take a few months break to make sure I wasn’t too preg for his sisters wedding. I said oh yes and then if your brother gets engaged? Maybe we should just wait a year until everyone else is married? What do you think your sister would say if this were reversed and you thought she would put having a baby on hold for our wedding? And he got it. As it happened I was six months preg with my first for sils wedding (we had to travel to australia from london so that was preg enough really ).
I’m just pottering along ,5 weeks. Feels very strange not being sick yet so I’m not sure it’s working out but it could be of course.

8 dpo... No sticks have been peed on... Give me strength!!!

@Lealu deffo wait a bit, 9 dpo is so early the result is unlikely to be accurate, you will just drive yourself nuts squinting for lines (in my experience anyway!)

I'm not sure what's going on with me, OPKs still showing low fertility even though Im on CD 11 and normally ovulate CD 12/13. I'm worried I may not ovulate this cycle, I've been ill - would that affect ovulation do you think? It's really really annoying!
