bonkerz, Sorry to hear AF arrived (((hugs)))

MunnzieB, ((hugs)) TTC really is stressfull isnt it!!!!

CD13 here,

We really need BFP on here don't we...

RudyDudy · 04/11/2004 14:59

(((hugs))) to all those with horrid AF

I'm into my 8th day of awful endo pain and am now so pissed off I'm beginning to wish AF would just come and be done with and I could take a stack of Nurofen and at least be pain free. But then, of course I don't really cus until she does I still have that glimmer of hope...

LOL at myself 8 days ago..."ooooh, I must have turned into one of those women who are sooooo in touch with their bodies I can feel myself ovulating. How marvellous..."

Haven't the foggiest what's going on in/down there!

Still, the sun's shining and it's a glorious day. Everything crossed for a BFP soon. Who's next to test???

Cyndii · 04/11/2004 16:23

I have not been on a TTC thread in a couple of months as I found it added to my stress of ttc. Well the good news is that I finally have the joy to announce that I finally had a bfp!!! All that baby dust finally came my way! Fingers crossed that I will be one of the lucky ones. I only did the tests (several) last weekend so I'm only in my 4th week will be 5 on Sunday!

So chins up mums to be it will happen. My advice bd before your fertile time, during and after as this is what I did this month, exhausting as it is but it hit home! Finally, and I say finally but I was only trying for 6 months as I know there are plenty of mums out ther trying for so much longer but 6 months was a very long time in m y world!

Lots & lots of baby dust **

bonkerz · 04/11/2004 16:25

Congrats to all the BFP's, well done aswell pam at least now you don't have to worry.

hester · 04/11/2004 17:00

Cyndii, you star! I was wondering where all our babydust had gone this month and there you were, secretly hoovering it all up

Now you can join Pamina on our star chart and graciously send a little babydust our way!

Oh, and I think your advice about BDing before ovulation as well as at is brilliant; it's so easy to focus on the ov and ignore the wider fertile period. Thanks for reminding us.

hester · 04/11/2004 17:07

OK, I didn't want to include this in the happy post I've just done, but I'm feeling very and if one or two of you lovely ladies could send a hug and babydust my way I'd be really grateful. Nothing horrendous happened, just cracking cramps (no bleeding yet) and feeling very premenstrual and weepy. I've mentally given myself till my next birthday to get pg before giving up the battle and that is only a few months off now so I REALLY need some luck. Somebody tell me it will all work out and I'll get my baby, even though you can't know that - please!

malinki · 04/11/2004 17:07

Ladies, please help me if you can, please see message very very sore breasts and AF not due for 8 days,

nasa · 04/11/2004 17:13

oh hester poor you - here's some hugs from me {{{}}} (can't do babydust squiggle sorry!)
I think we're in the same boat - my AF is due sunday and I am having awful cramps - it's so depressing isn't it. You just can't get away from it when it's your own body can you IFYKWIM. All I can htink is "It's not fair".

nasa (was krocket)

BeckiF · 04/11/2004 17:18

Oh Hester .... big hugs. I know how it feels when you just can't beleive that it won't happen. You're not alone, we share not only the happy times but the grief, the longing, the moods and everything else that goes with being a woman. Hope you can feel the warmth we are sending you xxxxx

nasa · 04/11/2004 17:18

and if it's going to come I wish it woudl just come once and for all. It's like the cramps without bleeding are there to torment you isn't it?

MunnzieB · 04/11/2004 17:19

Big hugs hester ((((hugs))) don't worry hon, it will happen. Think positive and try not to put too much pressure on you body ( I know it's hard hon) (((hugs)))

loads of baby dust going out to you as well.

hester · 04/11/2004 17:32

nasa, Becki, Munnzie - you are so lovely, thank you so much. It's so brilliant that I can just type in a plea for help and there you are. Feeling all tearful now (very hormonal!) but thank you, thank you, thank you for being there.

nasa - we're synchronising again! Am off to the pub shortly and will raise a glass in your honour (silently, obviously - don't want my workmates to think I've gone mad and started stalking a strange woman on the internet!). Will think of you this weekend.

Becki - it's so sweet of you to be so generous when you've had such a struggle lately. Wouldn't it be great if you and I could crack it and produce our miracle babies?!

Munnzie - you're just lovely! Thanks darlin.

Hulababy · 04/11/2004 17:35

(((hugs))) Hester

Hulababy · 04/11/2004 17:38

about AF, Bonkerz

Wow, congratulations Cyndii

MunnzieB · 04/11/2004 17:45

come on hester, keep ur pecker up! lol

nasa · 04/11/2004 17:56

I know hester it's weird isn't it - we do seem to be in sync - maybe next month will be lucky for both of us {{{more hugs}}} have a good night

Bibi20 · 04/11/2004 18:05

Congrats Cyndii!

Sorry to hear about af bonkers - not sure why it's so heavy but ol' Auntie Flo loves changing it around for me - some months heavy and harsh, some barely there...

Sorry that you're having cramps Nasa and Hester - it ain't over yet though - you never know! If you're looking for positive messages, you could do a separate thread and ask MNetters not on the conception boards for their success stories - someone who had PCOS did this a while ago - the stories that came back made me cry! (in a good way !)

Bibi20 · 04/11/2004 18:13

Tania2 - Starflower oil is like Evening Primrose oil but got a higher concentration of the good stuff (gla I think). It's definitely done good things to my CM!

Definitely take it up until O (O = ovulation MunzieB!) and then stop, but agree it's difficult if you're not sure if you've O'd yet. Don't think it would be the end of the world if you took it for a few days past O - any eggie would still be making its way down your tubes at that time... Have you tried checking your cervix to see whether you've O'd yet?

MunzieB - I don't think there's any harm in your taking supplements all the way through your cycle whilst dh is away - a lot of women take these things when not ttc - think they're generally good for 'wimmin's troubles'. Then again, they seem to be pretty quick acting, so if you did stop and start I don't think you'd lose out.

SilverLining - so with you on Carol Vorderman - what was she like?!!

Bibi20 · 04/11/2004 18:14

Me again!

Having one of those cycles where I feel sick between O and af - so cruel cos I've had this before and not been pg - does anyone else get this?

MommyD · 04/11/2004 18:24

Bibi20 - yes I have had that occasionally. Real nausea for almost the whole two weeks, only for AF to arrive.
Then again, when I was pg with ds1 and ds2, I ALSO felt sick for most of the two weeks. Cruel, isn't it!?

BeckiF · 04/11/2004 18:28

Hester - let's get on that baby hunt!! Chin up

jeddah · 04/11/2004 19:03

hester........join the club! I have felt so strange these last few days.....very hormonal and pist off with all this ttc......It will happen honey..... me and you have to prove to them all that being 40yr is not about being ready for the rubbish tip!!! its about celebrating and proving to the world that we are still in the game!!!!!

PLEASE PLEASE BELIEVE ME, it will be our turn very soon!!!!!!!!!! {{{{{{{grest big massive hug}}}}}}}

jeddah · 04/11/2004 19:09

hester!....its your 'ttc sister' here again.
Just looked at your stats to remind me of your situation.....we are similar!!!!!!!!!!!!! have you ever had any fertility tests??

you are ttc 10 months and I am ttc 11 months......keep going girl!!!

its true what they say,,,,....... instead of all this predicting of ov.... just regular bd before ov, at ov and a bit after ov!!!!! covers all angles

I have found that we concerntrated so much on predicting that we were very rigid in our bding....I am told it just doesn't happen like that!......just bloody bonk as much as you can!!!
