Hi Jeddah, You know the test you do at home apparently can show a BFN up until week 8 were u a heavy AF? you never know it could well be your hormones re jigging their selves as it were, how long have u been TTC? and off the pill?

I would guess that if the result has gone - then that means possibly an early miscarriage. However until af arrives nothing is certain....can you ring your gp and ask them for more info?

Oh pamina surely if you have m.c already wouldnt you be bleeding? Hope everything turns out for you. You must be so confused. Maybe go to the doc's if af doesnt arrive???

Jeddah - thank you..... I guess it's a waiting game. I think GP wasn't impresssed with me questionning why LH levels hadn't been tested.... I felt I was annoying her at the end.

Geordie - HANG ON!..... - I want to test too (I am also 10 days past BD - so could possibly be pregnant) the wait is VERY long I know. Have youi got any symptom?

Pamina - i would definately leave it until the weekend to test again and use your first morning wee - am sure it will be fine

My dh has decided we should only BD when im ovulating!!!! I dont agree and would like to just do it for fun! anyone else have this? My dh is convinced im preganat as well just because im up in the night 4 or 5 times using toilet! im not sure! Not due on till friday. will wait and see!!!!!

without meaning to sound dumb, how do you work out your cycle days etc cos i dont understand. My period always arrives between 6th and 9th of each month and lasts 4 days.

Jeddah - interesting about your luteal phase varying each month. Have a look at this link to FF here , even FF says the charts can be wrong!

Your LP is supposed to be the same length each month, so if it varies by more than a day or two it might be worth investigating...

you count cycle day one- the first full day of bleeding (af). The keep counting up until the next full day of bleeding which is then cd 1 of the next cycle.

just wanted to add that i seem to be going to the loo for the smallest wees in history...am I just imaginning stuff????

im weeing the smallest as well thats why my dh reckons in pregnant! it oculd be an infection but im not sore at all! Got madisave tests but whats the earliset i can test?

Minnie my ov test is called maybe baby so not sure how similar they are but this is how mine works.
when you have wiped a layer of saliva over the veiwfinder and it has dried after 15 min you look through it your infertile period should look like pebbles leading up to your fertile period (the transitional phase) you start to get a mixture of pebbles and small ferns and when you are oving it shows large ferns. when you see slight ferns bd like mad until you get the pebbles again.
To tell you the truth though i dont really know how good this method is i have had slight ferns last month on cd 9 and cd 18 it is poss to ov twice. mine has to be first thing in the morning from a clean mouth (no food, drink, toothpast etc)Basicaly it measures your levels of estrogen so if you have low estrogen it might not be as accurate? Good luck hope it works for you and me for that matter. HTH
