Eeek, we keep crossing posts!

I'm feeling: sick, dizzy, tired (woke up at 4am and was too excited to go back down). Very, very happy. Also very scared.

Can't WAIT for you to join me on the 'expecting' thread, Munnzie. When do you expect to ov next?

MunnzieB · 12/11/2004 18:09

it is I tell u!, well with DH away stil.... i'll be off for a girlie night in with a few bottles of wine I think! he he, had an email from DH today, and in his term (scuse the language) 'get his f*&k on! - is talking of a new matress and all... so heres goes! lol.

MunnzieB · 12/11/2004 18:11

should be OV in about 5 days but DH won't be home till jan, so it mean 2 more cycles of tracking things (this and one more) then wooooooo (hopefully i'll get a BFP after not trying so hard, and being in tune with my fuctions as it were!

Don't worry about the scared and sicky feeling, i'm sure it will pass, hey u get to eat for 2 now, so that means twice as much choc at xmas!

hester · 12/11/2004 18:15

Given that I won't be able to drink, I intend to make up for it by eating ALL the cake

I've never been much of a drinker, but just realised that I had gin Monday night (when I was cheering myself up for not being pg and never going to be pg), glass of wine Tuesday night (to cope with the shock, you understand) and champagne Wednesday night (to celebrate with dp). Whoops .

But chocolate - that's full of iron, isn't it? The baby will love that

Munnzie, your dh won't know what's hit him - New Year, new mattress, broody wife with lovely hormone levels and a determined glint in her eye... he hasn't got a chance, poor thing!

MunnzieB · 12/11/2004 18:18

lmao, i know, see what distance between you can do! lol. How's ur DH coping with the news? has he been to wet the baby's head yet, or are you waiting until 3 months?

MommyD · 12/11/2004 18:18

Hi all ... I'm 11 or 12 dpo today and have no pg symptoms at all. AF due on Sunday (cd28). Because I am certain that I am not pg this month I will not test until Mon/Tues if AF does not show. Longest my cycle has been is 30 days so will test then.
Have a great weekend all!!

MunnzieB · 12/11/2004 18:19

course it is, it's also good at making u feel happier, and we all want happy babies now! lol

MunnzieB · 12/11/2004 18:20

minnie, I got my persona from ebay for £17.00 incl the postage in the end, the stick are out of date, but i don't mind as theyre cheap enough. am a little unsure of how to reset it thou back to zero as it were for my cycles instead of the prev owner.

hester · 12/11/2004 18:23

Good luck, MommyD. Just to drive you all crazy, remember that I have never felt less pg than I did this month. I seem to remember somebody (was it you, Munnzie?) asking if I was sure I wasn't pg - and I was so sure - which just goes to show what a natural earth mother I am

Must go now. Lots of love to you both, Munnzie and MommyD, and to everyone else on this thread. Becki, have a huge hug. Jeddah, much love to you and let's talk next week.

MunnzieB · 12/11/2004 18:23

i think so, have a good one hon, off to tidy my tip of a house then off out, take care all of ya! and happy BD!

MommyD · 12/11/2004 18:30

Hi Hester - excited for you!

I did have a very, very vivid dream last night that I was pg - I woke up with the dream fading and feeling very sick. The only other thing unusual this month was that I had dreadful AF cramping (dull ache) and really bad lower back pain for two days (7 and 8dpo). Other than that nothing unusual and certainly no pg symptoms....

Well done Munzie.....

RudyDudy · 12/11/2004 18:40

Ah, munnzie - it was you! Did you get the User Guide with your persona? If so, it tells you how to reprogramme it on pg23. If not, let me know and I'll post you the info from mine.

RudyDudy · 12/11/2004 18:55

MummyD - I dreamt last night that I did 3 positive pg tests but I think it was just wishful thinking sadly. Hope yours is more predictive

Although I'm usually CD35 which is today I'm now thinking that AF is due on Sunday so will hold off testing until then. However, am having a very fat day which usually means she is just around the corner. Old Witch

MunnzieB · 12/11/2004 18:57

lol, thanks rudy, hang on in there girls, until ther old bag turns up, you might be PG some people don't get symptoms, for example clair over the road had one, yes, one morning of feeling sick and that was it, (not happy with her even PG she's only about a size 12!) it's not fair is it! lol.

will go and read my book quickly.

MommyD · 12/11/2004 18:59

Yes rudydudy - I am convinced you have those sorts of dreams PURELY because conceiving and baby-making is on one's mind so much.... nevertheless, I obviously hope it comes true.... SOOOOOOOOOOOON , if not this cycle then next which will be my third month of trying for number 3.....

MunnzieB · 12/11/2004 19:03

did it take you long with your other 2 mommyd?

MunnzieB · 12/11/2004 19:08

no user guide, just the instruction booklet on pg23 or that it says...... doing a test.... but there is a question... it says what to do if pressed M by mistake.... then tells you how to cancel m is that how to reset it? i imagion it is?

MommyD · 12/11/2004 19:15

Munnzie - Five cycles with ds1 (I had just come off the minipill after 12 years) and first month of trying for ds2....

RudyDudy · 12/11/2004 19:15

Munnzie - It says...Open monitor and wait for it to switch off (30secs). When it is switched off insert a test stick (used or unused) into the test stick slot, checking the position carefully as there will be no flashing yellow light to tell you that the test stick is correctly inserted.

Press and hold the M button while you complete steps 4,5 & 6 (better number them, then )

  1. press the opening catch to turn your monitor on

  2. a 3 & book symbol will be displayed. Continue to hold the M button and leave the test stick in position.

  3. After approx. 15secs all 3 lights will flash briefly and all symbols on the display screen will be shown. A 3 and book symbol will again be displayed.

The M button can now be released and the test stick removed.

You should see - - /m/ on the display. Your persona monitor is now reprogrammed and ready for use

RudyDudy · 12/11/2004 19:16

the m at the bottom was supposed to be in italics but it didn't work!
