Mudda I am completely in awe of your babydust graphics! What dedication and artistic flair
I am on day 18 now (I think) but have been using one of those ovulation testing kits and have had no surge whatsoever. Started the kit on day 10, so god knows what's going on there. Have been bdancing nonetheless, but am rather confused. Suppose must ovulate very early or very late. Ho hum. Am absolutely and really surprisingly excited by friend's pregnancy announcement last night. Am so excited, think was more so than she was. But every time friends get pregnant I feel a deeper deeper desire to be pregnant myself. And I feel ridiculous for keeping my life on hold in case I'm pregnant or have a baby next year. ie friends getting married in mauritius in april. Should I book to go too, or not. Friend (other) having hen weekend in september. Should I pay depoist for trip to Dublin or not? And every slightest twinge makes me think am I or aren't I (pregnant or ovulating - either)?
Sorry this is such a rambling post. Just feeling a bit anxious. And stupid really as have lovely dd already.

LipstickMum · 11/11/2004 13:43

runtus · 11/11/2004 13:59

Pooka, I've said this before but not sure if anyone understood where I was coming from - when I used to smoke at college and was waiting for a bus home, you could always guarantee that as soon as I lit up, a bus would come along! It got to the point where we would spark up just to make it hurry up.......so I've decided to book things for the coming months and go on holiday now, cos knowing my luck - I'll fall pg to spite myself!

Hope that makes sense!

MINNIE1 · 11/11/2004 14:00

pooka, i would book the flight to dublin, its about an hour.. and it should be safe to fly.. there's a thread about flying somewhere on MN i'll try and pull it out..

Jeddah {{{{{{hugs}}}}}}
Were all here for you... When you get home have a really good cry it helps...

pooka · 11/11/2004 15:22

Runtus - love the analogy. That's EXACTLY what I used to do when I smoked! Think it could be time to go and buy lots of clothes, book holidays, order some foie gras, unpasteurised cheese and a crate of wine for christmas. (funnily enough, was given about 36 bottles of wine for Xmas by in-laws when was 12 weeks pregnant last time - they didn't know).

runtus · 11/11/2004 15:47

There you go then, it's fate! Get yourself down the travel agents and into the deli woman. At least you will have something to look forward to rather than just having something to wish for!

Working for me at the moment anyway - I have just booked flights to Oz for January.....had already postponed it once and eventually just thought "sod it - I'm going".

Sallie · 11/11/2004 15:54

Hester - your news is fabulous!
Anyone else getting nearer to testing? I am cd29 and last month my af arrived on this day of my cycle. However, ov a day later this time and have had 2 bfns . However as only ov 9/10 days ago, probably too early to test anyway, isn't it? Seem to remember the month I m/c that I had 2 bfns on cd28 and 30 and then a bfp on cd32. However, as I m/c maybe that wasn't exactly a good sign!! I am driving myself crazy over all this.....
