Anyone TTC May

Hi Ladies,

I was hopeful this month but can feel signs of AF creeping up and due in a couple of days..

I'm not too distraught as we only managed it a couple of times in my fertile week so thought it may be the case this month was a no. Now I am so ready to get annoying AF out of the way and get on the May bus!

Is anyone else in the same boat and hoping next month is the one?

I am taking folic and vitamin D at the moment but I'm going to add DHA and co-q10 as well as I've heard v good things.

Good luck to those going for May... it's my birthday in May too and I've asked for a baby 😂

My cycle is a mess so no idea when I'm ovulating yet, so far I've had a few very faint positive tests and a BFN today 😩
Also trying to track ovulation but nothing showing yet!

Hi everyone! Month 8 here TTC #1 and AF due next Saturday. I have sore boobs but trying not to think about it as I know I'll be extra disappointed if AF comes. My husband said they're probably sore because I keep squeezing them to see if they're sore
This month I wrote a 'what I'm grateful for' list, and on occasion when I'm feeling down about TTC I read it to try and put everything is perspective. It's actually helping!

AF is tearing her head I think so I'm may-be on the May-baby bus. 🙄

I'm in for May but have so much on I really don't think we will have time for TTC actively. I'll say I'm out for May but tentatively keep my toes dipped in if no one minds.
I'll probably get to CD10 and change my mind lol

Hey everyone! I'm in the TWW but frer showing BFN. AF due Wednesday so I think I'll be out and can try again the week after! We've had to hold off TTC for 3 months after an ectopic in December treated with medical management. This is baby #2. Good luck to everyone 😊 xx

I’m in! CD3 and expecting to ovulate on 20th. Waiting on some CB OPKs arriving.

CD1 for me today! I've got three apps all predicting wildly different ovulation days due to my slightly unpredictable cycle. Will be relying on opks (and charting them on premom for the first time) to try and get our timings right.

Does anyone else check their calendars around FW to make sure they don't schedule anything strenuous that would distract from extra BDing? 😀

My cycle is unknown but I had a positive OPK yesterday! Does that mean I'm 1 DPO today?
We did the BD yesterday 😄
Also, just learning all these acronyms 😂 anyone want to be my CB?!

I'm 10dpo today obviously tested again this morning and was negative. Had 3 cps and typical this time now I have been told I will have the progesterone pessaries to try once I get a bfp I guarantee It won't be that easy to get pregnant again!

Omg I’m so fed up now! 17dpo, period 3 days late. Metallic taste in my mouth, dizziness and tired, but BFN on all tests! Testing like the POAS addict I am but nothing but bright white negatives, getting scunnered with this now. On the plus side, the month I conceived my daughter I had skipped a period so might be the same again, will start doing OPK’s when I would normally ovulate anyway

@Losd, same here!!! AF late since Friday and only bright white BFNs here! Boobs sore but that’s probably just because I’m comfort-eating chocolate in crazy quantities and getting fat as a result?

@Fiep aw man it’s so frustrating!! My periods only came back in September because I was breastfeeding but they’ve been so regular! I mean they jump from 28-31 days but this is now day 34 which has never happened before!
I’m power-eating chocolate too haha we’ll end up the size of houses and not even pregnant Just wish we could either get BFP’s or at least AF! It might be a good sign though as like I said, I conceived my daughter the month I skipped a period so maybe it’s our womb linings getting nice and thick and cosy to welcome a little egg! X

@Losd same! My cycles vary by a few days but that’s it, not like this.
Actually the same thing as you happened to me when I conceived my daughter too. Skipped a period and then conceived at some random point a few weeks later! Let’s hope so!

@Fiep well that’s af arrived with a vengeance! So there goes my theory haha! OPK’s at the ready for next week though, this will be it, a nice wee Feb 2022 baby!

@Losd oh no! I’m so moody I can only imagine AF MUST be coming!!! Five days late now and only BFNs, so definitely not pregnant!

I am 13 DPO, did a test yesterday and BFN. Last night and this morning I feel so down. I'm so tired of TTC & thinking about it constantly. I had some pinky mucousy discharge and cramping this morning & now I'm thinking about implantation bleeding, but surely I would've got at least a faint positive yesterday? Its probably the start of AF. I hope there's better news for all of us soon

I'm 12dpo today and bfn. But yesterday had a positive ovulation test. So confusing, fed up, had enough!

I think I ovulated on Monday - no idea but that's what the app said. DH is now feeling really unwell so I think any action is off the table tonight aghhh

Can you have ovulation pain days before ovulation. I had the pain yesterday but I didn't think I would ovulate until tomorrow and I'm afraid I missed it. My cervical mucus has been slowly changing. It was dry yesterday and sticky. Today it's white and creamy. I was hoping that meant I was close to ovulation but idk what that pain was yesterday. It felt like O pain. 😞

Hi @LovelyLion3 I am experiencing slight ovulation pain today too. I think it is 24-48 before you actually ovulate. My app says I will ovulate Tuesday however I have now got egg white cm (been drinking grapefruit juice, and I can confirm it works!) I think I will get my peak tomorrow/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday.

I'm learning much more to listen to my body and look for the signs as the apps aren't always bang on x

@FayLiv I used the CB opk on Monday and it was an empty circle. I haven't done once since then. I figured if I usually get 3 flashing smileys anyway that I'd be okay but now I'm nervous.
