Hi everyone! We are currently trying for baby #3 This is cycle 2 and CD5. Period last week was shorter and lighter than normal, really confused me as its never been like that, did 2 tests but both BFN so trying again this month :) Not putting too much pressure on it, just going with the flow and if it happens it happens, trying not to stress too much about it 🙈 anyone else TTC this month? Hoping I can chat in here with people doing the same ❤

Did another OPk and hpt- OPk blank, hpt is ‘positive’ but I’m thinking they are evaps they are so faint

@Onehotmess can deffo see the line! Did you read within the time frame? Hope its not an evap but I don't think it is? How many DPO are you? X

Yes it came up within 2 mins.

@Mumofboys20122017 it’s difficult to say - if the dark but negative OPk was a sign of impending ovulation then I would guess that I ov on Friday or Saturday and DTD Friday. So that would put me at 8 dpo? However my app says I ov yesterday but despite doing OPk 2 x per day since Monday I have only had the faintest lines and literally blank today and yesterday x

@Onehotmess surely 3 tests wouldn’t all show evap lines? I can definitely see a line on that one and I think it looks darker compared to yesterday! Can you get any other tests to confirm? If you’re only 8dpo then it would be faint! I think it’s a positive sign 💕

Thank you ☺️ I’m thinking positive but not getting my hopes up! After the crazy evap line on a first response last month (admittedly over the time frame!) I don’t trust the lines! I’m going to save my FRER for next week and I’ll just do the cheapies with FMU until then. Keep your fingers crossed for me 🤞

@Tryingandhopeful I’m going to get an Asda cheapie for tomorrow just so I’m using a different brand! X

@onehotmess yeh I agree with @Timeandtidal a line is a line! I know how you feel about the evap line from last time but that was outside of time frame and this time you’ve had 3 faint lines show up in time frame!! I think you should use your frer tomorrow 😊 honestly think it’s going to be positive for u!! 🌟

2 negatives hpt this morning (different brand)and negative ov . I’ll keep doing the ov tests in case I ov late. I’m definitely not out this month yet! But so confused how I got the lines!

@Onehotmess ahh how frustrating. Yes the lines were definitely there, you didn't imagine them. I'm wondering if it is to do with sensitivity of the HPT. But yes keep going with OPKs and hopefully you will get a clear picture of what is happening in your cycle ready for SMEP!

@Onehotmess aww gosh definitely frustrating! Like @Timeandtidal said there was definitely lines there! Not sure what's going on but hopefully you know what's going on in your cycle soon! Fingers crossed for you 🤞❤

Hello Ladies, after some advice -

TTC baby number 1 - I’m 14 DPO and 3 days late on my AF ( AF always shows up on time, I’m a regular bee)

My breasts are so sore, I’ve got headaches , digestion issues, I feel sick and so tired.

I’ve tested today and yesterday but both negative, is it possible that it’s just too early to test? Or could it be something else? X

Hi @Josiemmm they all definitely sound like promising symptoms! I've heard for some people a positive test may not show until a week after missed AF but I'm honestly not too sure. What tests have you been using? Fingers crossed you get a BFP soon x

@Mumofboys20122017 thank you for your response! I’ve only used the cheap test sticks that come with the pre mom ovulation sticks - was holding off using the First response or clearblue,

Are they supposed to me more reliable? X

@Josiemmm aww no worries! I know a lot of people really rate the first response as they can show a positive a good few days before a missed period so I would imagine if you were late they should pick up a little something? But I know you would probably feel like you're wasting them if the other tests are showing negative 🙈 I would still test every morning with the cheapies even and if another few days pass and no sign of AF I'd try the first response or clearblue! You have a lot of willpower, I would have used them all 😂😂 x

@Mumofboys20122017 ahaha yes, I do have a lot of patience 😂 i think that sounds like a good plan though. I’ll test tomorrow morning with the proper tests and see what they say!

I’m trying not to get my hopes up too much, it’s such a hard process. Thank you for the advice though, it’s great to have this site to chat and share with everyone. X

@Veronika13 I would definitely get a FRER or CB. If you look at my posts in this thread you'll see I have barely visible lines on cheapies but when I took a CBD at 15DPO it says pregnant clear as day. I think the CB and FRER just can pick up less HCG than the cheapies can!

I've been having some tummy cramps over the past two days which are worrying me a bit but trying not to over think it! Definitely feeling more nauseous and exhausted!

Thanks, tested on a FRER yest and got a clear 'NOT PREGNANT'. Af was due yest.

Yest was also Mother's Day in Australia and a lot of friends posted about their children and their first Mother's Day etc.

A little surreal if I’m honest, but there’s definitely a line, unless I’m blind haha.
