Hi everyone! We are currently trying for baby #3 This is cycle 2 and CD5. Period last week was shorter and lighter than normal, really confused me as its never been like that, did 2 tests but both BFN so trying again this month :) Not putting too much pressure on it, just going with the flow and if it happens it happens, trying not to stress too much about it 🙈 anyone else TTC this month? Hoping I can chat in here with people doing the same ❤

Hmm OPK fail - I've just remembered you're supposed to start testing with the CB digital ones on a certain day earlier in your cycle, while I've just randomly been starting to test a couple of days before expected O...that means my O date for previous cycle could have been wrong doesn't it?! Last time I only got one flashing smiley before a solid smiley the very next day which I thought was a bit strange (it was supposed to pick up 4 fertile days). I'll get there eventually, I blame sleep deprivation 🤦🏼‍♀️

I'm 14 DPO today. Got a faint positive on a pharmacy brand test yesterday and almost completely invisible line on a dollar one today. Amazon also canceled my order of FRERs for some reason so maybe I'll try my CBD tomorrow. Ugh so frustrating. Those faint lines just don't convince me. On the bright side AF is due today and she hasn't shown up yet 🤞

@Tryingandhopeful Am I right thinking you mentioned about being due for your second Pfizer jab soon? What did you decide to do? I'm in same boat and don't know what the right thing to do is. If we wait longer than the 12 weeks might it compromise the vaccinations effectiveness? I am scared about any issues so early on in pregnancy.

@Puppymamababymama this sounds like congratulations are due! I hope you get a strong line soon. Trust Amazon to cancel just when you really need them!

@Timeandtidal yes I was due it last weekend but what with the pain I had and going to EPU I cancelled it! I’ve had my first dose and I know the second dose is supposed to cover you for longer but I don’t want to take any risks in the first trimester! All the pregnant ladies I had seen or read had their first or second dose whilst in the 2nd trimester! If I was in 2nd trimester I would have had it but this is the key time baby develops so for me I would rather wait! My GP said I would have to have first dose again and then have 2nd one but not sure when I can do that! I might wait until after baby is here 🤷🏼‍♀️

@Tryingandhopeful Thanks a lot for sharing what you're thinking and what you've found out. I will also talk go my doctor. Second trimester would feel a lot more comfortable, I totally agree.

Over the moon right now! I took the other dollar test just to see and I saw another faint line but definitely darker than yesterday then I decided to do the CBD and we have success! I still can't believe it! Thank you ladies so much for helping me through this interesting time 💕 I know I'll still be very nervous until that first scan but I'm so grateful 💐

Well I have had the strangest cycle this month religiously have a cycle 26-29 days, Ive had unusual % on my easy at home ovulation test and today on day 28 I have just hit my 'peak' (highest reading so far). So don't have a clue what is happening this month

It makes me wonder if last cycle I had a CP as I did a test and I seen a very faint to the eye line, took a pic but the next day I tested again and they was no line so convinced myself I was imagining things, also last period lasted 6 days (normally 4 days) - when ive been looking online a CP can really mess your next ovulation up, so it would explain I suppose! So fingers crossed just keep having to DTD don't think OH will be too pleased as this is the first month we have been doing SMEP

@purpleskyssssss that does sound odd 🧐 have you taken an HPT? Just in case your OPK is picking up pregnancy and your ovulation sticks somehow missed your ovulation this month?🤞🏻Well done for keeping going with the SMEP regardless! 😅

@purpleskyssssss I second PP that a HPT would be an idea. I got a strong OPK 10 dpo which is what made me suspect I had conceived. At the same time, I agree that CP messes up ovulation. After mine I went from always having textbook 28 day cycles , with Ov on CD14, to 31 day cycles with ovulation about CD18. Definitely good you have this information if you do SMEP next month. I'm really hoping you might not need to 🤞🤞

@purpleskyssssss I agree that CP messes up your ovulation. I had one last month and it made my period 7 days and it has always been 5 without fail. I also had spotting before and I never get that it's always heavy the whole way through. It also makes me wonder if I ovulated later because last month with the CP I picked up pregnancy at 11DPO and this time I was getting very faint lines only at 14DPO. So I think it would be something to consider, but I would try what the other ladies said first cause I haven't tried tracking ovulation myself.

@tothemoonandback21 @Timeandtidal I had the same feeling but just got back from the shop with some cheapies and negative! So we will see what happens over the next couple of days!

I look an ovulation test (green one) and it’s negative so I thought well I’m either not ovulating or I’m already pregnant so I did a preg test (bottom one) left it too long so can’t trust the line. Did another and it’s got a line! WTAF?! I’m CD 19, this can’t be right can it?!

@Onehotmess Yes I can see a faint line on the middle test! Did you track your ovulation through the month? Early ovulation possible? How long is your cycle?

@Onehotmess I can see a line on both middle and bottom one!!! Wow maybe you just ovulated really early this cycle and caught the egg 😉 when did you do your tests? Was it with FMU? Have you got any other tests for the morning? Feeling excited for you 😍

@Timeandtidal I did OPk last Friday/sat and it was darkish but negative so left it until Monday and OPk was completely blank, same on tues weds thurs and today. So though maybe could the surge have been sat/sun or even last Thursday?! 🙈🙈 this stuff drives me bonkers! X

@Tryingandhopeful the tests I did today were about 5/6 pm so not fmu. Will try again tomorrow. X
