Pixies can also be repelled by objects made from silver as contact with the metal can harm them, another trait they share in common with other fairies of the British Isles. Pixies are allergic to silver. It burns their skin and can kill them if it gets into their blood. Be careful Pixie!!

Those who deliberately follow pixies often vanish without a trace. For example, a MNer, situated on the steep, wooded flanks of the River, is said to have been lured down towards the river by mysterious voices, calling her name: ?Abbeymeg? She was never seen again.

Even within living memory, some rural families left small gifts, such as bowls of food or saucers of milk, for the pixies in order to placate them. When shown this respect and attention, pixies would sometimes even help the family by tidying up the household during the night or in the day! Aww, so that explains why my house is a mess...Pixie was out riding my horse and then when she got back there was no milk for her to drink so she didn't bother cleaning up!!

Hey it's not me . It's all there in black and white on Wikipedia!!

Hey I hope it is a symptom! but I doubt it!

Bucky2007 · 12/11/2007 16:08

Maybe saying 'hey' alot is a symptom . Oh dear...I'm am going a little loony today.

pixie04 · 12/11/2007 16:28

Bucky is definatley not loopey some of the things she says about pixies (myself included) are true.... We do like gifts and when treated nicley we are inclined to do housekeeping type favours for people. We don't tend to steal though. There was a famous pixie many years ago who was reknowned for their cleptomania condition. It's compulsive stealing "it was a bad time in pixie land"

You were very right about the horses though, Your horse is beautiful and has a lovley mane which I enjoy plaiting as he trots me around the fields I hope you don't mind.

DG am sure it was firm.... the CM is definatley more lotion like than EW or watery. Its all a bit strange. Would like to start charting my temp but need to get hold of a thermometer.

Today after lunch I had a bit of a funny taste in my mouth will have to wait and see if it turns into full blown metal mouth.

cbcb I will be over at about 7.30pm. I am a pixie who loves food so any savoury treats you may have would be appreciated. Go and get some rest and I will have a word with my pixie friends to see if someone can get there sooner.

Snow - Nooo I can't stand it unless we get it really bad and can stay home otherwise its a nightmare!!

Hows it going Beanie? Keeping it crossed no AF. I am still waiting for her to arrive keep feeling really bloated and just not myself.

Pixie whilst asking your friends to help cbcb could you see if anyone of them is in my area to complete my secret basket of ironing that I am hiding as it is all stuff I don't like doing!

See you all tomorrow. Heres hoping for some more BFP's soon.

ClairePO · 12/11/2007 22:14

evening, I want snow, not fair, how come shrek gets snow eh? I want soooo much snow I will be snowed in and all trains to London cancelled. Actually that isn't very much snow at all.

CD26, bought some CB's today. Fertility Frien is telling possible implantation bleed CD24 (Saturday) temps still heaing upwards. All very hopeful - will undoubtedly end in tears. Testing tomorrow I think.

ClairePO · 12/11/2007 22:15

my 'D' doesn't work very well

Bucky2007 · 12/11/2007 22:32

Wow ClairePO sounds super hopeful. Keep us posted. Sending you baby vibes...

digitalgirl · 12/11/2007 23:25

hey you crazy ladies.

pixie your symptoms sounds very PG-like. when do you thest?

clairePO that sounds very good. will check in tomorrow for the results!

had my first acupuncture session this evening.
he asked me loads of embarassing questions, thank goodness I'd already shared everything with MN so I was used to sharing! he put needles in my feet, ankles, hands and then three on my lower abdomen. they stick them in and then a few seconds later you feel a twinge, it's so strange. then he put a hot lamp over my belly and then left me to doze for 20 minutes.

am going back once a week till the end of my cycle (lets hope its a short one!) and then once a cycle till they get shorter. obviously I'd like to get a BFP with this cycle and not have to see how long it takes!

right off to bed
dg x

ClairePO · 13/11/2007 07:15

Morning all

BFN for me with my CB not that good then

I think you're very brave volunteering to have needles stuck in you - I could never do it but I'd be interested to read up on how it helps with ttc - has anyone got a linky please?

beaniesteve · 13/11/2007 08:20

My body is confusing me. I am now on day 30/31 and still no period. Yesterday I had discharge which appeared slightly discoloured so I assumed it was my period on teh way but this morning - noting. My boyfriend has mademe promise I won't test again unless he's there so as he's having a lie in I didn't test this morning and anyway I am reluctant to as I feel sure my period must be round the corner!

pixie04 · 13/11/2007 08:46

Beanie it sounds like you've had an implantation bleed to me

I think TEW is on the way for me I got some blood when I wiped this AM I am hoping its implantation [desperatley hoping emoticon] but I am in a lot of pain so think its more likley AF

If anybody has any spare of the following it would be greatly appreciated....

Paracetamol
Hot Water bottle
Wine (yes I know its early in the AM)
