Especially for you
I wanna let you know what I was going through
All the time we were apart
I thought of you
You were in my heart
My love never changed
I still feel the same

Especially for you
I wanna tell you I was feeling that way too
And if dreams were wings, you know
I would have flown to you
To be where you are
No matter how far
And now that I'm next to you

No more dreaming about tomorrow
Forget the loneliness and the sorrow
I've got to say
It's all because of you

And now we're back together, together
I wanna show you my heart is oh so true
And all the love I have is
Especially for you

Especially for you
I wanna tell you, you mean all the world to me
How I'm certain that our love was meant to be
You changed my life
You showed me the way
And now that I'm next to you

I've waited long enough to find you
I wanna put all the hurt behind you
And I wanna bring out all the love inside you, oh

And now we're back together, together
I wanna show you my heart is oh so true
And all the love I have is
Especially for you

You were in my heart
My love never changed
No more dreaming about tomorrow
Forget the loneliness and the sorrow
I've got to say
It's all because of you

And now we're back together, together
I wanna show you my heart is oh so true
And all the love I have is
Especially for you

OP posts:
Ready · 05/12/2007 21:43

Good, you? Just sending you an email, sweets

nomoremagnolia · 05/12/2007 21:49

I'm trying to learn how to knit stripes - have posted on the arts and crafts section since bella deserted me

OP posts:
Ready · 05/12/2007 21:59

I am pretty sure there is a MNetter called NotQuiteCockney, she is very knowledgeable with knitting

nomoremagnolia · 05/12/2007 22:16

tigerschick came to my rescue

I'm not too bad with knitting, although have no projects on at the moment - so with all the expertise on this thread, you can always ask the question and if anyone knows the answer they'll respond... Stripes - well, I'm basically self taught (had a few lessons from my godmother but really done most from reading the instructions - what I do is just start the new colour - then knot the new and the previous colour using a reef knot (left over right, right over left), then I try to knit in the ends onto the back as this saves having to wind them into the seams when you finish - what you do is knit a couple of stiches, then move the lose ends in between your left needle and the next stich (this means that they'll either point upwards or downwards) then knit another stich or two and do the same (ie down if was up, up if was down... )

Ds's comments - yes, get quite and a bit teary (me). He's not mentioned 'baby in mummy's tummy' since just before I did the last test (when he said 'there's a baby in your tummy') - and this time he is obviously wanting Father Christmas to bring that... . I've not said anything along these lines - or anything not normal or remotely baby related since then, so not quite sure where he's got it from. Lets hope that Father Christmas makes a bit of a late delivery here - and to some other households on this thread.

That's got me thinking of the New Year's eve when I was in the middle of chemo for the mp when dh told me that really good friends of ours were expecting - he wanted to get all the crap out of the way in the old year in the hope that the following one would get better.

nomoremagnolia · 05/12/2007 22:38

Four weeks time and 2007 will be behind us - I just hope the only 'announcements' before then are on here - if they're are in RL I'll scream!!(with one exception - if you're lurking you know who you are )

OP posts:
nomoremagnolia · 05/12/2007 22:38

Mind you 6 weeks time and it'll be 2 years since we started ttc

OP posts:
mistlethrush · 05/12/2007 22:58

((nomore)) - but ds took 6 yrs, and look what we've got - definitely worth waiting for...

Ready · 05/12/2007 23:23

((((Nomore)))) - Thinking of you sweetness. I am so hopeful for you! x

rattling · 06/12/2007 10:05

Nomore - you must have started ttc at exactly the same time as me!! I know to the day. Lots of drinking over Christmas, New Year and our annual early January holiday (DH is in the booze industry, I permit him 10 days off in January to recover from working every day in December), and stopped the pill on 9th January 2006 prepared for the holiday season never to be the same again. So far nothing has changed - except I'm not enjoying myself as much as I feel "something" is missing.

I'm with you on the RL announcements too - I need a couple of months off from them. BFP's galore here though please.

scorpio1 · 06/12/2007 11:34

for all you ladies thinking about how long you have been ttc. i really hope im still allowed in here

i can't knit, im crap!

nomoremagnolia · 06/12/2007 12:10

Hi rattling Yes it must have been the same time - I had tonsilitis over new year and went to doc as soon as they were open on the 2nd Jan who prescribed me ABs saying the bit about them interfereing with the pill. I told her this was my last lot of pills anyway as we were going to start ttc and she said something about 'hope you get lucky' (she was a lovely doctor - not my current one) Finished pills about the same time as fininshed ABs - so probably 7 day later - 9th Jan!!! (cue spooky music) Know exactly how you're feeling about something missing, this is not how I imagined life to be 2 yrs on. I thought I'd have one by now (and possibly thinking about no 2 )

Scorpio of course you're still 'allowed' in We need people like you to make the babies we're knitting for seeing as we can't make them ourselves. Some peole are good at some things and others are good at other things

OP posts:
nomoremagnolia · 06/12/2007 12:15

Sorry Scorpio I didn't mean to sound quite so bitter If I only I could knit a baby then bring it to life...just call me Geppetto (and now I think about how sad a story is Pinocchio)
CD1 of cycle 25 today

OP posts:
nomoremagnolia · 06/12/2007 12:18

OK so originally Geppetto hated children - I always thought he wanted them

OP posts:
PiggyPenguin · 06/12/2007 13:11

Oh dear, you all sound a bit sad today. Although the knitting is quite frankly impressive! I started a hat for dd but have felt too ill and so its languishing on the needles while she swans around in her new cosy Next one (with fairies and ear flaps - very cute!).

2008 is going to be a bumper year for this thread, I can just feel it.

nomoremagnolia · 06/12/2007 13:44

I feel the need for hot chocolate and a disney film today. The weather is matching my mood. Unfortunately I have to go food shopping instead, which I hate.
Fairies and ear flaps are something to aim for sybil

OP posts:
scorpio1 · 06/12/2007 14:40

I know what you meant nomore i just don't want me being pg to not allow me on here cos i like chatting and seeing how you all are!

i could do with hot choc today and maybe some chips although i had veggie lasagne and carrots and cabbage and juice, and an apple for lunch so i make up for possible chips later!

nomoremagnolia · 06/12/2007 18:10

and we like chatting to you too (well I do-can't speak for the others )
I mean if we were enforcing the rules you shouldn't be on here at all, pg or not pg but you are welcome - so sit down and shut up

OP posts:
scorpio1 · 06/12/2007 21:08

Not gonna argue with the idea of sitting down, my feet hurt alot today because of shopping yesterday and uni today, arrgg!

nomoremagnolia · 07/12/2007 18:31
