Hi,

Has anyone taken the Conceive plus ovulation support supplements?

I started taking them today and this evening I had some blood when I wiped.

Could this be the start of my period, would they work that quick? Or is it a coincidence?

Thank you!

Are you waiting for your period/expecting it soon? What exactly are you using it for?

I started taking it about a week ago (before I realised I had actually already ovulated) and I'm 10 DPO at the moment. Haven't noticed any side effects really - I was hoping it would shorten my cycles next time and reduce symptoms of PCOS.

Sparkles512 · 18/02/2021 09:32

@heybabes thank you for your reply!
I have been waiting for my period to arrive just over 2 weeks late.

It's definitely a full blown period this morning pains and all!

I wonder if it's just helped give things a little nudge or just a complete coincidence?

I've never been diagnosed with anything but I have always suffered from painful, heavy and irregular bleeding.

Fingers crossed for us 🤞

Oh wow, sounds like it worked then! I have heard people say that they've used myo-inositol to regulate cycles and bring on a period, which is the main ingredient in Ovulation Support. Sounds like you're responding really well to it, so that really bodes well :)

Have you ever been tested for PCOS? It sounds like you have those symptoms. I just have irregular periods but I do ovulate, so I'm trying to get my cycles to happen at normal times!

Sparkles512 · 18/02/2021 11:01

Yes I heard it can help and anything is worth a try really!

I usually get fobbed of by the Dr's who tell me it's something I have to live with.

Although I have now been reffered to a gynecologist end of last year who wasn't too help he just told me some people have bad periods and to use the coil!

I'm awaiting a follow up appointment next month to see if they will do any tests 🤞

So my period has now stopped after just 5 days, relieved the pain is over! But not sure if it was too short of a period?

I'm going to going to take some ovulation tests next week and see how I get on 🤞

Sorry to just pipe up here out of nowhere but I'm curious to try this product to try and bring ovulation forward, is it to be taken every day throughout the cycle?

Sparkles512 · 21/02/2021 20:08

@glow92 Hi yes you take 4 tablets every day of your cycle

OP posts:
heybabes · 21/02/2021 21:40

@Sparkles512 sounds like yours was a normal length period to me? Mine usually last only 3-4 days. Glad it’s worked for you!

@glow92 yes 4 tablets a day. I think it’s supposed to help regulate cycles if yours are thrown out of whack because of PCOS - so insurance resistance/hormone imbalance. Mine are super irregular (I had one cycle for 70 days this year, my last one was 35 days, this one I’m currently on day 44 🤦‍♀️). I have suspected PCOS and have heard this has given people a more reasonable and regular cycle.

Sparkles512 · 22/02/2021 07:25

@heybabes Ah that's good to know thank you 😊
I'm still getting used to my cycles as for years I would have 10-14 days of bleeding.

heybabes · 22/02/2021 09:06

@sparkles512 No worries! I've just started my period today too which is a day or two sooner than I was expecting, so might have worked for me too. Hopefully with us both taking it every day from now, we might just have a normal length cycle!

Sparkles512 · 22/02/2021 18:06

@heybabes fingers crossed for us 🤞

Hi , sorry to randomly butt in but I just wanted to know what everyone thinks of the conceive plus ovulation support? I really want to order them but I don’t want to waste my money! X

Hopeful110 · 08/03/2021 18:20

@Chloerobinson97 yeah I've just ordered them so il let you know if they change anything, I'm currently on CD121 and have pcos. Hoping it'll help regulate my cycle :)

Chloerobinson97 · 08/03/2021 20:34

@Hopeful110 fingers crossed for you 🤞🏼 X

heybabes · 09/03/2021 08:31

I've been taking this since before my last period started. I am currently on CD16 and no sign of ovulating yet, but my last O day was CD32, so anything earlier than that would be great! I'll keep you guys updated though.

I have heard that inositol usually takes about 3 months to show its effects though, so patience is key!

Sparkles512 · 10/03/2021 20:19

Hi how is everyone?
CD 21 and no sign of ovulation yet.
Fingers crossed for the next few weeks 🤞

@Sparkles512 I stopped testing because I got fed up but randomly tested today and got 2 really strong OPK’s and a clear blue static smiley! I couldn’t believe it, my first ever positive ovulation tests! How is everyone else? X

@chloerobinson97 yay congratulations!
What CD are you on?
Fingers crossed for you 🤞

@Sparkles512 cycle day 35! God knows what’s going on 😂 thank you, hope you’re doing well! Xx

Sparkles512 · 11/03/2021 07:02

Oh I wish we could have nice short cycles like every one else 😂
Just keep DTD and hope for the best 🤞

heybabes · 15/03/2021 10:45

@chloerobinson97 Ah well done! fingers crossed for you this month. When do you usually ovulate?

@Sparkles512 I know right - I've been trying for 5 months but have only ovulated twice. So most people will have had 5/6 goes in the same time whereas I've had 2! Not fair.

I'm on CD21 and no ovulation yet so don't think it's worked instantly for me yet! I have actually run out of tablets now and have switched to Ovaview which has a higher dose. Not sure if good idea yet as I feel a bit nauseas with it but we shall see...

Chloerobinson97 · 15/03/2021 10:48

@heybabes thank you! I have no idea when I usually ovulate. I came off the pill in September and didn’t have a period until 4th February so I didn’t do any kind of tracking until after my period in feb and I ovulated on day 35 xx

Sparkles512 · 29/03/2021 17:11

How's everyone getting on?

I have had a progesterone blood test today after my gynaecologist told me I am not ovulating and its very unlikely I'll get pregnant and keep trying for a year, no other explanation so I phoned my GP and they have sent me for bloods.

Fingers crossed I'll get some answers 🙏

Chloerobinson97 · 29/03/2021 17:39

Oh god how annoying! Sending lots of love and baby dust to you! I actually got my BFP last Sunday so fingers crossed it sticks 🤞🏼Xx

Sparkles512 · 29/03/2021 17:44

@Chloerobinson97 just feel like its pointless trying if I'm not even ovulating ☹

I guess I just assumed with us both being healthy and young we would fall pregnant straight away I guess that's not the case!

Omg massive congratulations 😀🥳
Did you have any symptoms or anything ?
