Increasing Resting Heart rate on Fitbit before a BFP??

Dixie1488 · 13/02/2021 22:25

Hi Ladies!

I have noticed my resting heart rate has increased over the past week. Usually my resting heart rate is anywhere between 55-59 on average but today it is 64. I was sat on the sofa for the last hour and it was 84! I am currently 9DPO.

Has anyone else had an increase in heart rate and has a BFP? Or know anything about it? It seems some other people have posted online about this but I would love to know more! 😊

I could just be overthinking it and looking into things that mean nothing 😂

Thanks in advance 😊

Sorry just saw your reply! It was definitely after my positive test. I remember at weeks 6-9ish my resting rate was crazy high! Could have been before too but I just didn't notice

Just seen your positive test. Excellent!!!

Also to add it was more like 3-4 weeks - error on my earlier post

RedPandaMama · 16/02/2021 20:43

Aww congratulations!! I had just come on to say yes, mine did! My resting (sleep) went from 58bpm to something like 68bpm and my resting active (sitting on the sofa etc) was like 75-85! Then I found out I was pregnant Grin

Congrats!

TTC2021x · 16/02/2021 22:46

Congratulations @Dixie1488 !!!

@NW2021 will be watching to see if you get your BFP, everything crossed for you! X

HaresHoping · 17/02/2021 12:01

Hi ladies! Congrats @Dixie1488 on your BFP 🥳 good luck to everyone else TTC. I was reading this with interest last night and went to check my RHR... and I'd had a jump! Am now 6DPO and have had another jump today. Really hoping it's a good sign ☺️ I can't seem to attach pics at the min 🙄 but my RHR has gone from 61 on Monday, to 65 yesterday and 67 today... this morning in bed it was 75! 🤞🏻

Best of luck to everyone 😍

Dixie1488 · 17/02/2021 18:52

Thankyou girls 🥰 it still feels surreal🙈

@HaresHoping that sounds promising! Mine started rising from around 5/6DPO. Fingers crossed for you 💕 Would love to know how you get on.

Thanks for starting the thread @Dixie1488 - I'd never heard of it before! Will let you know, not testing for a while yet but fingers crossed ☺️

summerday99 · 17/02/2021 19:54

@Dixie1488 aww congrats! I just opened this thread as i also had increasing HR from about 4DPO, it went up over ovulation then came down for 3 days then rose, it was one of my first signs so thats really made me happy to see your BFP as it's definitely a thing! Xxx

TTC2021x · 18/02/2021 16:33

I am 5dpo today and have noticed I have jumped.

Monday 64bpm
Tuesday 64bpm
Wednesday 65bpm
Thursday 67bpm

Is this a good sign?

@summerday99 well clearly there is something in it! Hopefully it's your sign too! 😊💕

@TTC2021x Mine started increasing 1bpm from 5DPO- 9DPO then jumped 4bpm at 10DPO then steadily increased 1bpm each day. It has stayed the same as yesterday now and I'm 14DPO

My BFP was at 12DPO.

Good luck! 😊

Amazing news - I am delighted for you both 💐

2021mumma · 19/02/2021 07:15

This is interesting as my garmin said “heart rate too high” at various points and then I found out I was pregnant! Currently 12 weeks

HaresHoping · 19/02/2021 07:45

Congratulations @NW2021! That's amazing news 😍 how many DPO are you?

NW2021 · 19/02/2021 07:54

@HaresHoping thank you so much! I’m around 13/14dpo.

WrongendoftheSTIX · 19/02/2021 10:14

Really seems like there is something in this!
I've just ordered a Versa 3 do you pay for the subscription to access this data or is it just available in app?

NW2021 · 19/02/2021 10:44

@TTC2021x @nodtik thank you 🤍

@WrongendoftheSTIX I’ve got the fit bit (4 I think?) but the Fitbit app is free to track all the RHR, steps etc. I think there is a premium access you can pay for which has like work out etc on. If you just want to use it for RHR you won’t need to pay a subscription x

HaresHoping · 27/02/2021 11:31

Hi ladies, how is everyone?

Just wanted to share - my pics won't attach properly to show my chart but my RHR went down to 67 at 12DPO and has stayed consistent. This morning I'm 16DPO and was due on yesterday. I got a faint line on an FRER this morning ☺️ will test again tomorrow. Thanks for all your help and advice!
