Hi guys! I believe I ovulated today (CD14) after I got a static smiley on my OPK yesterday evening, this was after a flashy smiley in the morning! We DTD last night and now comes the start of the dreaded two week wait! Does any one fancy driving themselves crazy with symptom spotting and trying to to take a test too early with me? 🤣

Anyone else not drinking during TWW, but then also really would love a glass of wine? I feel like the waiting would go quicker if I could!

Haha I said I wasn’t going to but I ended up asking my boyfriend to buy me a mini bottle of Prosecco to have on Valentine’s Day so I had that! I get really stressed about these things but I don’t think it actually matters as long as you aren’t getting drunk but even then lots of people conceive on drunken nights out 😂😂

@paperfleur we're very similar! TTC first child, been exactly 12 months trying. I am also a cool luteal cucumber and then I go slowly mad from ovulation...

AF due 25th/26th Feb too, so fingers crossed for us! I've purposely made sure I've not got any tests in this month! I will buy if AF is late.... probably.

Morning ladies,cnt belive i got tempted and tested again this morning and got a bfn!!AF due in 2days,with previous pregnancies iv always had a bfp 4days before so i really do think i'm out this month but il still wait till friday,only symtom i have is sore nipples and extreme fatigue but that's a af sign too!!

anyone no if the poundland cheapies are reliable as that's what i'm using cnt find a frer anywhere?

@Sa2010 I am so sorry about your negative. It is heartbreaking . Not all pregnancy will be the same though and you are not out until AF shows ❤

@Sa2010 - sorry to hear about your BFN! I just took a test this morning and it was negative as well 😔 AF is due on Sunday but I thought I might have seen something by now! I’m going to test again on Sunday and if not I will try again next month 💪

@1992EM yes i do think cheapies work also,i can feel i'm out this month but it was my first month so i'm not to disheartened plus i have pcos so i no it takes me longer x

I have sore boobs and back ache could be AF though. I did a FRER last night at 8DPO and it was negative so feeling like I'm out already even though I know it was early. AF due in 5 days, my usual hormonal acne hasn't shown up yet and my appetite is actually very low considering PMS normally makes me want to eat everything 😂 so I'm trying not to get my hopes up ☹️

@sa2010 ❤ I actually avoided testing most months as found it worse than AF arriving. It took me a couple of months to work out my cycle and things too . Take care of yourself if AF does arrive 💕
@AIC2015 8 dpo is super early . I only got a faint one yesterday on a cheapie at 10 dpo and the frer today was dark but I don't think it would have shown at 8 dpo . Most people haven't implanted yet . Don't count yourself out yet xx

@Intrigued2020 I'm sorry to hear about your BFN today but as you say, it's still early so too soon to be sure, good luck in holding off testing again until Sunday! I buy pregnancy tests from Amazon, I just use cheapies then the one time I was pregnant I followed that up with a CB one. It wasn't an early test though, just the standard one that tells you the number of weeks. I can't believe how much branded tests cost, particularly the early ones, which is the only thing that's stopped me buying them!
@Kally9 Aha snap! You're very cunning not to have tests in the house, definitely must help the old willpower! I bought ICs in bulk so have to pretend they're not there... Well, we're almost halfway through the 2ww now, along with @Small1607 - but they do always seem interminable!
@Sa2010 I'm sorry to hear about your BFN, it's always horrible getting that. Like others, for some reason I've found it more of a gut punch to see a negative test than AF arriving, which is another reason I'm trying to avoid testing early this cycle.
@1992EM congratulations! Lovely news to hear it's a good strong line now. Wishing you smooth sailing ahead.

Thanks @1992EM :) @PaperFleur - I know they are so expensive! Not only are you gutted that you get a negative result but also your gutted because you just wasted £6 😂 I have one CB left so this is why I am going to hold off until Sunday! If AF arrives I think I will follow your lead and order some more from Amazon for next time 🤗

@Intrigued2020 oh definitely, it was my birthday weekend when I got pregnant with my little one and I was really drunk!
I stopped drinking about 2 dpo and don't think I will drink again until I have a negative test.
Also, I don't test til really near my af due date as last time I was pregnant got negative results right up til about a day before, even with the early results ones! So no early results for me, boo!

Tested at 7dpo why lol!!! Of course negative! I think having them in the house is actually a bad idea 🤣🙈

@Intrigued2020 yeah it's strange but that's why I just don't test too early now. In a way it makes it a bit easier as we were trying for 6 months with 1st and I spent a fortune on tests! Grin
