TWW anybody?

Hi guys! I believe I ovulated today (CD14) after I got a static smiley on my OPK yesterday evening, this was after a flashy smiley in the morning! We DTD last night and now comes the start of the dreaded two week wait! Does any one fancy driving themselves crazy with symptom spotting and trying to to take a test too early with me? 🤣

Quick question, tested with an opk today at 6/7dpo just to help the urge to test 😂 I usually get no lines at all on opk's up until ovulation, got a line on it today which I really wasn't expecting. Its faint like we'll say a decent bfp would be on a pregnancy test a day or so before af. I'm assuming this is just low level normal opk result for non ovulating times? Even though I usually have no lines before ov I've never tested this far after it.

@Garman I also have this . I don't usually do opks after peak but I do normally have some form of line from at least cd10 so not sure if it actually means anything . I have ordered pregnancy strip tests to use until I am at least 12dpo . Should be more reliable that opks x

I have them too but don't think they'd even show anything yet so was just wasting these! Thanks x

Do you guys class DPO of the first day you got a peak ( or solid smiley !) or the second?

@BCM2021 I could it the day after so if I got my peak on the Saturday , I would ovulate the Sunday and then the Monday would be 1dpo x

@Garman Yeah ,9- 10dpo is probably better to start as apparently the majority implant between 6 - 8 dpo and some can be up to 10 dpo . It then takes 2 days to have a rise in hormone so most tests recommend 12dpo to be the most reliable but can show earlier x

@velum fingers crossed! It drives you crazy doesn't it. This is my first cycle with an ovulation kit too, hoping it helps and we get out bfp!

So did a cheap strip test this morning and there is a line , very faint one but it is there . I have no idea how to post pictures. I have just looked at the reviews and a few people have said they got false positives so I am not going to hold my breath until I see it on a frer or digital . I so hope it is true ❤ I am only 10dpo but am hoping it will show on a frer tomorrow if it is true x

@1992EM sounds promising!!i got a bfn so i think i'm out this month i'm going to wait for af to arrive friday if it doesn't show then il test on saturday

@sa2010 sorry to hear that. What tests did you use ? If you are not 12dpo it might not show . Up until then they are only around 60% reliable . I have just ordered some more frer as I prefer them x

i used a savers cheapie,i will try get some frers today but i think because i did it the day after ovkation my chances were very low but il wait till friday now x

Hello everyone, hope it's ok for me to hop on this thread. We've been ttc for our first baby for a year and had a miscarriage last August. I'm only 5 dpo, with period due 25th. I start each cycle like a perfectly rational person then get more and more obsessed the closer to my period that I get! I'm going to try really hard not to test early this month (although I say that every time!)...

@PaperFleur welcome! I start each cycle the same as you, trying to do things the relaxed way, then I get that positive OPK and then I get stressed and symptom spot my way impatiently through the TWW 😂

@Allegra82 yea i just feel as we only did it once and it was the day after ovulation my chances are not very high this month but i still have 3days for Af to show,i went to tesco to get a frer and they didn't have any!how annoying so got some poundland ones instead to try tommorow as that will make me 12dpo but going by the day we did the deed tommorow would be 10dpo x

Hi @PaperFleur I'm around the same as you! My app changed my dates because I had a peak one day then had another the day after so I'm around 4/5dpo depending on when actual ovulation took place! I'll be tempted to test on Sunday 😅

I think I’m going to use a CB tomorrow morning as it says on the box that you can use it 4 days before AF is due so we shall see 🤗 I have taken two cheapies and seen nothing as of yet 😂 I want to ask a question as well but I don’t know if it’s a stupid question. Everyone mentions FRER but what does that actually mean 😂 Is everyone referring to the first response tests or all early tests including CB?

@Small1607 I often get OPK peaks 2 days in a row too and am never quite sure which is the strongest line. Fingers crossed for you if you do test on Sunday! I'm really trying to hold out this month, but we shall see... I've enlisted my husband to count down the days with me and help me stay strong but he obviously doesn't have it on his brain like I do, overthinking every random twinge!
@Intrigued2020 I always took FRER to mean specifically the First Response ones, but I might have that wrong? Good luck with your CB tomorrow!

Currently 6PO I think , now that I’m counting right! Tests arrived this morning so sitting on my hands!

So the first response ones pick up earlier I am reading this lots ? :)

@PaperFleur - haha I can’t believe I am only just realising this 😂 Where do you get them from online? I can’t seem to remember seeing them in the supermarket but maybe I just never noticed? I read online that you can use these 6 days before so I guess they are better than CB :) Thanks for the good luck, I will let you know how it goes 🕺

Hi all. I tested yesterday at 8dpo with a IC. Fully expected a BFN. However a very faint line appeared within the first minute and then disappeared. Has anyone had this before?
