TWW anybody?

Hi guys! I believe I ovulated today (CD14) after I got a static smiley on my OPK yesterday evening, this was after a flashy smiley in the morning! We DTD last night and now comes the start of the dreaded two week wait! Does any one fancy driving themselves crazy with symptom spotting and trying to to take a test too early with me? 🤣

Hi ladies.. just looking for some advice/opinions.
This month, I haven't tracked ovulation with OPK's (wanted a month off after finding it a little stressful). My cycles have been known to differ (been off pill since September).

Cycle 1 - 24 days
Cycle 2 - 29 days
Cycle 3 - 22 days
Cycle 4 - 22 days
Cycle 5 - current cycle and I'm currently on CD23. I would have expected AF today if my last 2 cycles were anything to go by.

When would you take a pregnancy test? I haven't done any tests this cycle and I'm happy to wait but I just don't know if I'm technically late if AF doesn't come today? Because of my other cycles differing slightly.

I had some stomach cramps around 6 days ago (I thought they were early AF cramps but they stopped fairly quickly).
TMI - I've had lots of creamy CM up until yesterday, now there's not a lot at all.
Having as much as I had during that part of my cycle isn't exactly normal for me (I don't think).
Been feeling a little sicky on and off but I had this last month before AF too. Lots of backache on and off too.
I'm very 50/50 about it all at the moment but just wondering when people would test? I don't want to test too early as the BFN's kill me 😫

@Confused678866! Yes the OPKs can be quite stressful! I’m not wise on all this I’m new myself but I would test! 😆 if your due on today I don’t think that’s to early? Good luck! 🤞🤞

@BCM2021 Yeah I think if I'm not successful this month then I would try the OPK's again but I felt that they consumed me a little last month!
Haha well that's what I was thinking but then I'm just overthinking it all that maybe I'm having one of my slightly longer cycles this month?
Last cycle, my AF cramps kicked in about 4/5 days before AF came and I do usually suffer with cramps maybe 1-2 days before but I don't have any at the moment. Xx

Feeling very blessed to get my BFP this month! It’s taken a few days to sink in. Got my first positive at 9dpo, I’m now 15dpo and feeling good (and nauseous). Did a digital today, loved seeing the word actually flash up 😍

Of course you can! So I’m almost 100% sure that I implanted at 5dpo. I had some twinges and cramps, bloating, and utter exhaustion 5-7dpo, accompanied by sneezing and a tiny bit of nausea. I had to take a nap every afternoon, literally couldn’t make it through the day without a nap. From 7dpo I had back ache as well, and then got my positive at 9dpo, pretty much already knowing I was pregnant before I tested. I’m now nauseous, have a little bit of cramping and the sorest boobs in the history of the Earth 😅

I have endo, so I track my symptoms very closely each month anyway, and I was getting symptoms I either never get at all, or don’t usually get at that point in my cycle.

@Confused678866 if you tested tomorrow cd24, with a early response one, then it would only be 5 days early if this cycle happened to be a long one, so I would be tempted to test tomorrow, and if negative maybe cd26 as well with an early response. If you really didn't want the potential of an unsure negative then I would hold off. I know what you mean about not wanting to see a negative. This is why I tend to wait as much as possible as well, cus the few days between knowing for sure as it's AF due date, or it potentially being too early are hard. Some months I will test a little early and some months I will do it exactly when AF is due, it depends what mood I'm in and if I have enough distractions to cope with it all!

@LKB89 It will be a year next month, but that's not trying every single cycle, we've had a month off here and there for Christmas, etc. (basically drinking without feeling guilty.....haha)

@teateaandcoffee You've literally read my mind - that was my exact thinking with an early test tomorrow! But I think I'm going to try and hold off for as long as possible.. and AF may start anyway! Luckily, I'm back working in my office so plenty of distractions, I couldn't cope very well with it all when I was working from home, I was sending myself stupid with it all.
I'll be honest, I was cautiously optimistic these last few days as I was having a few noticeable symptoms but with as these are all so close to AF things, I'm not that optimistic now (think I'm trying to talk myself down a little).
The good thing is though, I'd been worried about my cycles/Luteal phase being too short so if AF does come in a few days, at least my cycle would have lengthened a little!
How long have you been TTC? Do you have any children or would this be your first? Xx

@Confused678866 hey, did you test? Keeping my fingers firmly crossed for you 🤞🏻 I think they say it's best to try and wait at least 12 DPO but as immy shows below she had a faint positive 9 DPO! The longer you can wait the better. This time I'm just going to actually wait till my due date to test? Don't know what's worse tho, seeing the blank test or AF showing! It's a hard game this TTC.

@teateaandcoffee @BCM2021 3 days of my temp staying up so my fertility friend app has given my cover line temp now & predicts I ovulated on CD17 (which would have been the 2nd day of static smiley) let's see hope it stays up🤞🏻

@LKB89 Hey, yeah I tested this morning, BFN. Must just be having a longer cycle. Feeling pretty gutted but the longer cycle is also welcomed xx

@Confused678866 I'm sorry, it's so disheartening. Its not impossible to be too early though, don't want to give you false hope but if AF doesn't arrive in a few more days like your longest cycle then take another. If not, have a cry, but brush yourself off and do it again. It will happen ❤️ happy minds x

@LKB89 Yes I'll see how it goes. My longest cycle since tracking has been 29 days so I think that would be Tuesday next week. I suspect AF will show at some point though.
It's just a very cruel process isn't it. Crying last month because I had another short cycle, upset this month that AF isn't here but I'm not pregnant! Ah well. Xx

Like @LKB89 says, you just have to keep going, every new cycle is a chance for it to happen, so forget about the last one. And staying positive, trying new things and keeping hopeful I think is definitely important. You do have to believe that I will happen for you eventually.

We've been trying on off for a year next month. I've got a little girl, we started trying when she was 18 months old.

@teateaandcoffee Yeah I usually have a crap couple of days and then I'll get over it and keep going. My OH looked pretty gutted this morning when I told him but I know he tries to keep it to himself. We were very lucky when we had our little boy, conceived in the first cycle so I think you sort of expect the same to happen again which isn't realistic. This was my 4th cycle of trying for baby number 2.
We're in the process of moving house hopefully in the next couple of months and my little boy turns 2 on the 26th April so we've got some exciting things to focus on.
How long did it take you to fall pregnant with your little girl if you don't mind me asking? Xx

@Confused678866 Aw yeah, that's definitely a lot to look forward to and distract you! So nice he can have a little party with the easing of restrictions : ) I actually got pregnant first time round, but then miscarried at 8 weeks, then was pregnant again within about 4 months of trying, So all in it was about 6 months. I think that's why I'm not too stressed about it nearly being a year. Especially as I'm 36 now, I am assuming it will take a little longer. Hope your move goes smoothly, easy to say! We moved when I was about 5 months pregnant, it was pretty exciting! : ) Are you going far?

@teateaandcoffee Yes I'm so glad he can have some sort of celebration as his first birthday was just rubbish! So I'm looking forward to that. Oh I'm so sorry to hear about your MC, that must have been awful. I see it mentioned on these posts so often, I think people don't realise how much it happens.
Yes I think you're definitely taking the right approach to it, it will happen when it's meant to! That's how I'm trying to look at it at the moment.. I had a bit of shit morning and people were really getting on my nerves at work but I'm in a bit of a better mood this evening. Got some cramps now so I definitely think AF is on her way shortly.
Yes I'm looking forward to the house move, just hope it all goes through. We just need a bigger house. Currently in a 2 bed semi but buying a 3 bed detached. We're mainly doing it for the third bedroom with the hope of another baby so hopefully that will happen 🤞🏻
We're not going too far at all, about 5-10 mins in the car so still pretty local xx

@BCM2021 I think it's lkb89 who is temping, I have done it but stopped a few months ago. I think it will stay up if you are pregnant, but then you can probably do a test around the same time it would usually drop as it's close enough to af due date if you see what I mean. What cycle day are you on? Have you started on sticks yet?

So you'll have an ovulation dip and then a raise in body temp once ovulated, then it stays up around there then, and if you're pregnant it will stay up all the time, if you're coming on it will drop back down at the time you're due! If that makes sense?

I went on so many ovulation calendars based on my last cycle 30 days & fertile period average start date was 12/13 with estimated O being around 15/16 so I don’t know what to think! Seems early,,
