TWW anybody?

Hi guys! I believe I ovulated today (CD14) after I got a static smiley on my OPK yesterday evening, this was after a flashy smiley in the morning! We DTD last night and now comes the start of the dreaded two week wait! Does any one fancy driving themselves crazy with symptom spotting and trying to to take a test too early with me? 🤣

Sorry to here about all these flashing smileys! Actually relieved I was on to have a break from faces and sticks lol! Only lasted 3 days .. I’m gonna try the smileys again with a calendar as guide and do every other day & see how that works!

Also that countdown to pregnancy website is quiet helpful if anyone doesn’t know about it x

I got my static smiley 😊 🎉 FINALLY!!! Glad I persisted. CD16 is quite late isn't it, the cheapie strips aren't positive yet but definitely darker now. I'll try again later with them too.

@BCM2021 I do actually, I don't think they are necessary as such, I just like to see the increasing dark line 🤣

@teateaandcoffee hey yes i'm going to call them on tuesday as it's so strange i have every period /pregnancy symptom yet nothing at all!still testing negative iv even done some ovulation strips and they are negative too i'm so confused

@LKB89 yeh let’s hope!! I don’t know whether to try this every other day or this SMEP this time round, I feel every other has gotta catch it at some point ?! What are u doing?

@BCM2021 well this SMEP is kinda like just every other day anyway, only when you get a positive OPK do you DTD 3 days in a run. I think give it a go. I've found it easier so far than just going mad every day in the fertile window. We've not felt like it's just baby making yet! Felt normal.

Ask me that on Tuesday though when it's day 3 🤣

We've done SMEP this time, so having a break tonight then one more go tomorrow night, after 3 days in a row. Have to say, wasn't really in mood last night as by time we'd got home we were knackered and wanted to watch Line of Duty lol. tmi!

Was good doing cheapies and Clear Blue, cus what I've found from the cheapies is I have a rapid onset of LH surge, literally low results every day, then a 12 hour peak, then back down to low and no gradual increase / decrease at all. So this could explain as well why we've been struggling to get pregnant if my window is so small!

@LKB89 that’s good to know feeling normal! I struggle with the sheduled times! Think I may try this SMEP too, gonna start with the smileys again next week plus rough guidelines that calendars have given... yeah at the end of day 3 I bet u will be glad of the break!
@teateaandcoffee ha ha line of duty brilliant isn’t it! That’s interesting on the cheapies! This SMEP has gotta cover it though surely!

@BCM2021 yeah I definitely feel like starting dtd on cd8 is a good plan, definitely covered all bases.
Last night LOD was so good, feel like it's just getting juicy haha.

@BCM2021 definitely give it a go this time round! We feel like we could have potentially caught more easier this time round, like we've been at it a lot more, but over more time so its not felt like a chore.

I started the CB OPKs on day 7 - as my last cycle was 27 days which it advised for me to do in the instructions, just check what day it advises you so you don't start it too late.

Then on SMEP if you use the cheapies along side this, start them on CD10, just so you capture all basis.

I got my temp rise this morning! Guess I ovulated yesterday :-) which was day 2 of the static smiley & 1 day after my LH surge (although still high yesterday)!

@BCM2021 I started testing on cd5, started smep on cd8 and got first flashing smiley on cd8. Then I got the static smiley and peak result off cheapie on cd11. This is all basing cd1 on first day of full flow though.
It says start OPKs on CD10 but I started early as I ovulated early last month as well, glad I did as I would have missed it.
So we dtd on cd8, 10, 11, 12, 13 and will do today which is cd15. Not sure if there is much point tonight as it's 4 days after peak but I guess it can't hurt and it's what SMEP is saying so I will give it a go.
I'm now feeling really anxious already about it! Only a few days into TWW, I should be testing around Saturday 17th. Eek! Got some blood tests this week as well to check everything is as it should be, just trying to keep busy now and take my mind of it!

@LKB89 ok cool will have read! I don’t know anything about temping it’s all a mind field! Well fingers crossed 4u! This plan looks like it covers more bases as u say.. hopefully this is the last month we have this discussion 😀😀, and yes it’s so good wish u didn’t have to wait another week for next episode though!

@LKB89 Love it, we've been counting down for the new series for ages! I definitely think Kate is in on it with Hastings, but they are keeping Steve in the dark.

@BCM2021 temping is annoying tbh, need to try and do it every morning at the same time before getting up. I get up at 06:30 midweek so having to set my alarms at weekend for that does my head in 🤣...had a good pattern this month though so far!

@teateaandcoffee that's good you got your peak early on! I had to DTD on days 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 17 & today 18 then again I'll have to on 20th too 🤣🤣🤣 bloody knackered! But if it makes a baby then I'll do anything!

The TWW is absolutely brutal isn't it, try not to be stressed though, stay relaxed and keep your mind occupied ❤️
What will they check with the bloods? Is it the progesterone? X

@BCM2021 that pepper is on my mind 🤣 it's on the windowsill in the kitchen, I can't bin it. OH thinks I've lost the plot, which I probably have a bit 🤷🏻‍♀️🤣

I thought it was intense for us this month but yours is definitely more brutal haha 😂 and like you say, if it means getting pregnant it is not a big thing. I was half tempted not to last night but it might make a difference so always worth it.

It says on the form Progesterone EPRG (not sure what EPRG is!), then I have some more on cd2-5 so I think my doctor will do the results all in one go when they have full picture 🤞
