Hi guys! I believe I ovulated today (CD14) after I got a static smiley on my OPK yesterday evening, this was after a flashy smiley in the morning! We DTD last night and now comes the start of the dreaded two week wait! Does any one fancy driving themselves crazy with symptom spotting and trying to to take a test too early with me? 🤣

@Intrigued2020 im on CD9 now, and my app says ovulation predicted CD14 which is generic isn't it. I started the smiley style CB OPK on day 7 (that's what it suggested) and currently it's just low fertility which is what I expect.

I kinda hope it stays lows for a few more days which COULD explain why I didn't get pregnant last month, as I DTD this time last month up to CD15 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 could ovulate way after?! We shall see!

@LKB89 - yours is going to be quite soon then! How much does the CB ovulation tracker cost and how many sticks do you get in a pack? I’m just wondering if using that is better than using the cheapies 😁

@Intrigued2020 I read quite a lot of good reviews on them so I thought what's the harm!

I think I paid about £27ish quid on Amazon for the digital stick & then 20 sticks, which is good as it's £25 for 10 on boots! It's on the pricier side I suppose but if it works then so worth it!
I enjoyed reading about them too.

@LKB89 - Yeah I have heard a lot of good things about them! I think if nothing happens this month then I will try that next month 😁😁 Thanks for the information!

According to my app, my OD is the 13th. Had to highlight the week on the wall calendar for DH to make sure he is aware.

I honestly just have been using good old Amazon cheapies for OPKs and femometer for the app. Just the free version. It does have a camera feature on app for all tests too. Would recommend!

@Intrigued2020 mines 15th March too, but cd 17. That's just going on last months ovulation day, my cycle is a bit irregular, always same length though. I'm starting testing on this Sat, looking forward to seeing some smileys

@StephiW - We are pretty close then! Yeah I have always used the cheapies and I feel that they do work but as I didn’t get pregnant last month I’m thinking of other things I can try in the future 😜Good luck to us and @teateaandcoffee 😁 keep me posted when you get a positive OPK 🕺

How are we all today?

I'm on CD10 and still low fertility on the advanced digital CB sticks.
Flo tells me I'm in my fertile window now & ovulate in 4 days. This time last cycle I was DTD like a rabbit in this window...no wonder I am still not pregnant, I would have been low!!! (Well I hope that's the case 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻)

@LKB89 - Ooo that’s interesting! I wonder when you will get your high fertility on the sticks! Maybe in the next few days? I’m on CD 12 and ovulation is estimated around the 15th of March so I’m going to start using the OPKs next Monday :)

I know! I wonder if I ovulate later than normal? I'm sure I'll find out in the coming days!

@Intrigued2020 just realised you ovulate late as well don't you if you're already on CD12!
I can't imagine the generic ovulation at 14 days even works for anyone 🤣 we are all so different!

@LKB89 - yeah it will be interesting to find out 🤗 haha yeah it would be amazing if it was earlier as it seems ages to wait for a positive OPK!

@LKB89 hope we all get lucky with the kits this month, going to be lots of smileys in next week or so haha. I am good, AF is done, yay!

@teateaandcoffee aww I really do hope so! I had a good feeling about this month.

However I'm now CD11 and still low fertility on the CB and I also cracked open the Poundland sticks @Intrigued2020 recommended and I barely have a line on that!! Downloaded an app (Premom) where you can take a pic of the sticks and it will tell you the T/C ratio...needs to be 1.0 or above to be high and it was 0.06 🤣 how low is that! And I swear the CB stick is getting lighter every day not darker as I would expect! I'm a complete novice with the sticks so maybe I'm overreacting 🤷🏻‍♀️

I also had EWCM this morning when I wiped after my wee for the test. So really did expect sooooomething!!! Starting to panic a bit 🤣 ...or being very impatient. One of them 🤣

Has anyone had a similar experience with the OPKs? X

I’m new to sticks but have only used the CB last month- smiley faces & found them great as no lines to look at just a 0, a flashing smiley or solid smiley so easy to read! Will be back on them next week lol x

@LKB89 I did with the cheap ones, I couldn't get a decent reading and seemed to be testing for a long time and never gave me a really strong reading. Last month was first using the CB advanced kit, much happier with it, it's just more straightforward to read results. Also I had ewcm a few days before my peak last month, I read somewhere it's due to your body attempting ovulation but not making it then trying again, seems a little bonkers I don't know how I feel about that! Just going to try when the kit tells me!

@teateaandcoffee that makes me feel better that you saw the peak a few days after EWCM, I just expected to have a flashing smiley today after seeing that...
I'll be patient and keep trying 😁 I am only CD11 which is still early really...

We DTD this AM just incase 😜 cover all corners sticks or no sticks 🤣

@LKB89 good luck!! last month I had 3 flashing then peak, does it tend to be similar each month? Or completely different?

@BCM2021 Ooo that sounds good! I hope I'm similar and don't have looooads of flashing days!
First time using them for me so not sure if it will be the same or not.
I'm excited! Also very nervous? It's a weird feeling, maybe its going to actually happen this month 🤞🏻💫

@LKB89 yeh last month was my first time, was relieved only 3 days flashing I’ve read some woman getting flashing for 7 plus ! See what happens this time! :)

Sorry ladies! I was hoping to spread some luck on this journey but unfortunately it wasn’t meant to be for us this month. We miscarried on Thursday morning...as we’ve had 2 in a row now they’ve said they will investigate if we have one more 😩 feels awful having to wait to see if I have another before anything is done...hope you’re all well x
