Hello!
I’m a mummy to 2 girls ttc our 3rd rainbow baby after a loss last month. I’m officially 4dpo is anyone else in their 2 week wait who can join me?
Might be nice to get to know some other mummies to be to help ease the stress 🥰❤️

2 weeks ago I forgot to put the ovulation test out the way with the static smiley🤣 she's been constantly asking how I'm feeling since she visited then🙈 don't think she realises it's just an ovulation test😂 so tempted to have some fun with it while she's here lol x

This 2 week wait is killing me, its like torture, think i am starting to imagine symptoms.

AF is due a week today....tempted to test but i know it will just show a BFN...cant help it!!
When would be the best to test? I have the CB early detection?

@1sttime21 my mother in law randomly messaged the other day asking outright when she’s going to get another grand baby! Apparently she needs some good news as it’s been a crap year; no shit Sherlock!!! My husband doesn’t understand why it upset me so much; apparently it was just a ‘conversation starter’ and that I should let get so sensitive about it 🤬

@LKB89 welcome if 8dpo I’d wait until at least 10/11 and even then it may be too early and just add unnecessary stress. If you have the willpower then I’d recommend waiting until as close as possible to af.

What is it with in laws hey! My mil is the total opposite she didn’t agree when we got pregnant with our first daughter as we were ‘too young’ we were 23 & 24, both working and owned our own home so mature enough to make our own decision. Second daughter came along 3 years later and she had something to say about that too.
Now we are trying for a 3rd and I’m sure she will object to that too but she can do one 😂

Totally agree; you don’t know what’s going on behind closed doors (particularly bedroom ones 🥰) and it’s a real intrusion of privacy! 😔

Mine is the opposite constantly on about us having a baby🙄.. Haven't even told her we are trying where as my mum knows and apart from her weekly list of baby names😂 she tends to stay out of it x

Oh ladies I can't believe your MILs say anything. I'm so lucky my hubby's parents are lovely and just don't get involved with opinions at all. They just welcome grand babies as and when the come. Although we break the news gently over months of dropped hints of "when the next one comes along" so it's not too much of a shocker. My parents weren't too convinced about us wanting a third... but now they're excited for an announcement.
My next thing is the sex of the baby. I have two boys and I just KNOW everyone is gonna want it to be a girl. Not because they don't love the boys but just because it's a change. So I think we won't find out the sex until birth. 😂😂

Noting symptoms.... I feel like I've been hit by a bus! Splitting headache all day. And spotting has disappeared. 🤷‍♀️ NO IDEA WHATS GOING ON!

@LKB89 generally if you can get to 11/12dpo then a positive should show up. Or if you're in my shoes, have a negative at 12dpo... weird spotting and no AF! 😂😂

We have loads of names my faves are alfie and kwin... We really want a boy but I have 5 nephews already so my mum would love it to be a girl 🙈 you got names yet? X

@cakelaur we might wait for a surprise also. We found out the sex of our girls without a second thought but I like the idea of a surprise!
I have no idea regarding names but find girl names soooo much easier!
Over the course of today my tummy has become more and more bloated and painful just waiting for af to arrive 😭 I have had some really really faint red when I wipe- is this spotting? I never spot EVER. Usually just full blown af straight away but I think we’ve all learned how unpredictable these cycles can be hey!

We have a boy (Frazier) and a girl so far (Kayla)! When we were expecting our first we didn’t find out gender til birth, then with our second I found out at 32weeks that she was a girl but didn’t tell anyone and we’ve decided that if/when we fall pregnant again we will find out as early as possible! Luckily where we have one of each there is no pressure from family about ‘do U want girl/boy?’ Etc; just pressure on when baby will be arriving! I hope I don’t have to keep them (or me) waiting too long! Our names are both boxers surnames Joe Frazier and Mark Kaylor (just spelt differently); we’ve said if we have a boy it will be Benn (Nigel Benn) or a girl Aliyah (Mohammed Ali)!
