Anyone testing this weekend?

Hey ladies,

I’m thinking of testing this weekend - nervous for the result as obviously a BFP is very much wanted. It’s our first cycle of actually deliberately trying for a baby....we already have a beautiful 4 year old daughter but due to medical reasons I was advised not to have another baby until they were resolved. Sadly I had a miscarriage back in July with a sort of unplanned pregnancy.
My partner has left the country to go back to work for a few months so I will be all alone testing and seeing the result - need some virtual friends for support :)

Curious if anyone else is testing soon? If so which test kit is the most reliable? AF is due on the 10th and I’m pretty sure I won’t be able to hold off until then. I think I’m around 7 dpo at the moment!

Me potentially!

I'm super confused about when I ovulated so at the moment I could be either 12DPO or 7DPO. I'm hoping it's 7DPO because I had a BFN this morning so hoping it's just because I'm early.

My chart this month has a small sustained temp rise 12 days ago, but then another one (but not completely sustained) 7 days ago. My OPKs have been almost positive for days now so who knows. I'm just hoping it's not an anovulatory cycle, so I'd rather just get AF than that happen!

So stressful - only my 2nd cycle as well and I am just hating this!

Ended up caving and taking a test today BFN but no AF yet and am on CD33. Sometimes cycles go up to 34/35 days so still time for AF.

There's something that looks like it could be a faint line but think it's just the light. Oh well. If AF doesn't come over the weekend I might test again next week

See I took another one in a slightly different angle and can't see anything at all there. Maybe test again in a couple of days (or tomorrow haha) x

@pixiedust21 yeah absolutely and I can see it has colour!! Was that with FMU? You could try again tomorrow morning if not! But I can definitely see something and normally I’m rubbish at seeing lines on pictures 😂 xx

Ohh @pixiedust21 I see a faint line in the first photo you uploaded! What test brand did you use?
The only thing stopping me from testing is that I on purposely forgot to buy a test when I was at the supermarket as I knew I’d cave 🤣

Thjs was from this afternoon so not FMU. I will test again in the morning I think.

@MNGal1987 this was just a Poundland one haha, I know last of the big spenders! I do have a FRER to use but don't want to just waste it lol.

I might test again tomorrow. I bought five of the Poundland ones

@pixiedust21 I can see something on the 2nd one of the 2 you uploaded! The first ones a bit blurry!
I’d try tomorrow morning with FMU with another cheap one and save the FRER for another couple days time! Xx

@pixiedust21 I often don't see a line when other people do but I can definitely see one on yours. Test tomorrow morning!!!

@organised5 @Firsttry132 thanks ladies. Maybe there's such a thing as "line blindness" haha. I do see what you mean but I guess trying not to read into it.

Good idea about testing again with FMU. And yeah I'll save the FRER. Can see us going bankrupt jf I was just buying those. Haha.

Didn't get a frer as they didn't have any so had to settle for an early clear blue

I’ve been to Tesco and picked up a pack of 2 clear blue digital week indicator ones. They are so expensive!

I’m going to try and hold out until Sunday.

So far I’ve had no spotting as if I was going to come on today/tomorrow but as Wednesday would still be “normal” for me I’m trying to resist.

How’s everyone else doing?

@Randomness12 yes the digital ones are pretty expensive 🤑

I think I’ll head out later and pick up a couple of FRER (only because they detect lower amounts of hCG). If they come back positive then I’ll invest in the digital 😅

I know already I won’t be alike to hold off until Sunday 🤦🏼‍♀️

Symptom wise feeling tired and bloated so nothing unusual there. My boobs are sore and heavy which is common prior to AF. Only difference this month is my nipples seem bigger and very sensitive.

Keep everyone updated regardless of results 🤞🤞

@MNGal1987 BFN negative for me yesterday but i took it mid afternoon after a half hour hold, and a test which is to be used “from the day of expected period” and I’m not due till Sunday 😂 so I’m HOPING it was just a little too early. Not that hopeful though unfortunately! Good luck everyone 🤞🏻✨

Is anyone else holding out to test until Sunday? I missed my FMU this morning so that helped stop me test today (it would have been scientifically impossible I think to get a BFP but it somehow doesn't stop me wanting to try). I think if I can keep busy tomorrow morning then I'll make it through to Sunday...

I am @organised5 I’m usually up at 6/7am with my DD so will be early at least!

Tested again this morning - I hate these faint lines as I am now not sure I used a FRER and can normally never see anything in the box but I thought I could see a faint second line to the point where I said "oh my god" on the toilet haha!

But showed my husband and he couldn't see anything. And now I don't think I can. Just going to leave it, if I'm getting AF it will be today onwards as I'm on cd34 and average cycle length is 33 days. So would have thought line would be stronger if positive.

Definitely going to try and leave it a few days and only test again next week if still no AF.

@organised5 I’m going to test on Sunday if AF hasn’t come by then! Hoping yesterday was too early but not sure if there should have been a slight line or not ☹️ Let me know how you get on! Xx
