Anyone else approaching ovulation?

So we're ttc baby #2, this will be our first month. According to my app I'm due to ovulate around Sunday, so planning to DTD lots over fertile window.

Anyone else at the same point in their cycle?

Would be nice to have company in the dreaded 2 week wait that's about to come 😂

@RoseP123 hang in there and keep testing - I’m sure you’ll get your static smiley in the next few days - I don’t think that it goes back to being an empty circle after you’ve had a high reading until after you get your peak.

I unexpectedly got my static smiley this morning - was expecting it on or around Sunday but that only based on my ovulation date for last month which is the first month I used (cheap) OPKs. We dtd on Tuesday which was the day I got my first flashing smiley so do you think if we dtd today tomorrow and Saturday we’ll be covered? I was expecting to have many more days of flashing smileys so now I’m worrying that we won’t dtd enough in this cycle.

Feeling a strange nervous excitement now!

@abbaroony Sperm can stay viable for a while so if you do it over the next couple of days as well you'll be fine xx

@RoseP123 I don't use CB opks so can't help I'm afraid. But like the others say I would just keep testing daily until you get your peak. I use IC opks, which were getting a little darker yesterday so 🤞 I'm still on track to ovulate tomorrow or Saturday and I will get my peak today!

Second day of flashing smiley today, bbt is low the last two days after a very strange looking chart during my chemical loss, so I'm expecting another few flashing days 😊

Got my leak today on both CB fertility monitor and cheapie OPK (CD10) a day early for me this month. Going off previous cycles. I’ll likely ovulate on Saturday (CD12) DTD last night, was going to skip tonight and DTD again Fri & Saturday but now I’ve got my peak will probably have to go again tonight and then skip tomorrow (hate doing it 3 days in a row, 3rd day always seems like such a chore) and DTD Sat & Sun and then hopefully we’re covered

Going to get some Brazil nuts and pomegranate juice tomorrow for implantation. Fingers crossed! Good luck to all!

Thanks @abbaroony @Arrierttyclock I will keep on with the testing. It says in the CB OPK instructions you can test twice a day, but I don't know whether i'd just be using tests for the sake of it so may just stick to once haha!

Hey everyone how's everybody feeling?

CD18 for me today and getting strong lines on OPKs but still not peak. The same happened last month and I got my peak on CD19, so maybe that's just my usual timeframe, but it feels so late compared to most people which stresses me out! Hoping I do get a peak tomorrow and it doesn't go on any longer than that 🤞🏻

We DTD last night and I think I'll try and go for tomorrow night and Saturday to hopefully cover all the bases if Saturday is likely ovulation day 🤞🏻

I'm too tired to dtd anymore! I'm ovulating today cd13 and we've done cd9, 11 (twice!), 12 and 13. Genuinely amazed how some couples do it this often just normally. We're exhausted!

I am also trying, this is the 2nd month & i seem to be the same dates, my app says i ovulate on Sunday. Started last night, so plan on trying every night till Monday? Reckon that's ok?
I did try last month but as we were away with family it was a little harder, so only managed two days in the window!

Sounds like you'll have it covered @LKB89 it's our second month properly trying too, last month I think we stopped DTD too early because we were shattered, since I seem to ovulate later than expected 🙈

@AIC2015 CD 11 and I'm 27 - 29 too! Feeling all the ovulation symptoms tonight so hoping it's soon, although internet cheapies still showing low!

I just wasn't sure if I would be trying 'too much' quite a bit of conflicted info online.
I've had a read through a few threads and it seems some ladies all tried everyday anyway!

I know, it's so confusing. I'm trying to work out how often to do it. Some people say every day, others say every other day while the CB is flashing then everyday for 2 days when it's static but I just don't know 😭 think I might try tonight, maybe Saturday, Sunday then Monday. We both have low sex drives so this is the most we would have done it for a long time 😂

Omg guys I dropped my CB opk reader in the sink today 😭😭😭 which means I've to start a new one that'll read blank today , and I've had 2 days of flashing smileys 🤣🤣 I'm such a dope

Finally got my peak OPK today, CD19 same as last month. So will probably ovulate tomorrow. Last cycle my LP was only 10 days, really hope it's a bit longer this time and we get lucky 🍀 🤞🏻

Hey guys! Is anyone good with charts? I'm due to ovulate in a few days but after cramps last night it really felt like I ovulated. I'm still having flashing faces on cb opk (but had to start a new one yday due to dropping it down the sink 🤦🏼‍♀️) and ICs didn't get a peak. My chart showed a spike this morning ... does this look like I've ovulated? As you can see the behind of my chart looks mad due to chemical pregnancy

I honestly don’t know how people DTD every day! 🙈 I think I ovulated yesterday (6th) we DTD 3rd, 5th & 6th hopefully that’s enough! I keep thinking it won’t be, reading how some people DTD 10 days straight! 😯
Going to give it one for good look tomorrow night 😂... just in case!

@NW2021 Oo we are pretty much exactly the same 😂 think I ovulated yesterday, peak OPK was on Friday.

We DTD 28th, 30th (although that was before FW), 3rd, 5th (peak OPK day) and 6th. Thought about giving it another go tonight but we're knackered tbh 😂 so hopefully we've done enough! 🤞🏻🍀

It's exhausting isn't it @NW2021 😂 I ovulated day 13 and we dtd days 9,11,12,13,14. To think this is the norm for some couples!!

How longs your cycle normally? I’m 28-29 so due in around 2 weeks. I’m determined not to take a test before, this time round!
