Only 6DPO and I feel like I’m going crazy! Anyone else with me?

Hi everyone so I got my peak on 23rd January and I think I ovulated on 24th.. I’m now 6DPO ovulation. I tested this morning and obviously I couldn’t see anything, but I’m already planning how to tell my partner and looking at baby clothes.. what is wrong with me! Anybody else? And the wait is dragging too!x

Hi @Jordie24!! Yes ... 🤣 I am 5DPO and Due AF 11th Feb.

And I trust me. I am the same. I didn’t think I would be until I stepped foot on MumsNet, it’s been a blessing to have ladies to talk too! But it’s taught me things I didn’t know, and as soon as I suddenly clocked you could take a test waaaay earlier than the skipped period- that’s it I’m obsessed 🤣 Silly I know, but after years of trying not to get pregnant- it’s a new ballgame to me!
(I knew about the 6 days before, but I just assumed I’d take a test when i missed AF!)

This is our first time TTC, how about you? I haven’t tested yet, trying to hold off as long as possible. But I’m also very optimistic and planning that reveal, I don’t think that’s a bad thing at all! 🤣

Hi @lottieb92 Yes I’ve also learnt things on here I didn’t know about too! I’ve even worked out when my 12 week scan would be if I was pregnant too! I know so strange how they make a big deal of using contraception to not get pregnant and you panic over everything when actually there’s only a short time each month u can conceive! And I’m ttc baby number 3, I have 2 DD already. But this is cycle number 4 in ttc. With my other 2 I conceived DD1 1st month off the pill and DD2 2nd month of the pill so this is the longest for me so far. Is this your first baby?xx

@Jordie24 we have a 5 year old and he was conceived magically when we were in our last year of uni haha! I always laugh because we only saw each other once the month of Christmas 2014! And that one time, I fell pregnant. Talk about luck, I think I was the one they warned of at school 🤣

Our wedding was postponed at the start of Jan because of covid. So we just decided to jump into trying as we were planning too in April anyway. Luckily I have been tracking my ovulation etc for a long time as I was preparing to try this year anyway, this is just a bit earlier.
I wasn’t 100% but hoping now I’ve found these helpful threads I can be better prepared if this isn’t my month. (Which is unlikely now I know the ins and outs!)

I’m hoping I can remain level headed these next few weeks- and tips appreciated 🤣

I'm 8 dpo. Hating this waiting game. Already tested yesterday. BFN (surprise surprise) I just want to fast forwards a week!

I'm going to test again Monday. Just in case!

I’m 7dpo, half way through tww! Feel like this month has gone quicker as last month I was stuck in with covid so it was all I thought about 😂

I’m ate dpo! Period due Friday. Gonna buy some tests tomorrow, but try not to test until I’m due...

I don’t know why my phone wrote ‘ate’ - I meant 8 dpo!!!! How weird?!

7dpo today.. tested again! Haha negative upto now. Only using IC tests, trying not to buy exspensive ones until clear 2 lines on IC! Xx

Hello! I'm 5dpo, CD28. AF booked in for anywhere between the 8-11th Feb but I'm feeling like I may get an earlier arrival as my cycles have been all over the place.

5 or 6 DPO for me, AF due 7th Feb! Resolved to try and not test until AF. I have lost all faith in "pregnancy symptoms" as I seem to be able to conjure them up and they never lead to a BFP 😂

6/7 DPO for me...half way there! Trying so hard not to symptom spot as last month I had so many unusual for me symptoms and period still rocked up 🙄

I was going to wait until tomorrow to test, but caved and tested today. Still negative, but still only 9 dpo so it could still change. I'll give it another 2 days, so test on Tuesday. I've only got 3 tests left and one is a digital I won't use until AF is late, so that gives me a test Tuesday and one on Thursday, then digital Saturday if AF hasn't turned up

Sorry for TMI but - Me and my husband did it this morning, afterwards I had a bit of very light pink with the residual ‘juices’ (sorry) when I went to the loo after. Does anyone know what this might mean?

If I’m feeling positive I’m thinking it could be irritation from my cervix thickening/softening up to prepare for a baby cos I am pregnant? Or implantation bleeding?

And then on the negative side - it could just be for no reason or very early period (even though I’m never early) or very early mc.

I hate this wait!

@Cafeaulait27 I don’t know what this could be but hopefully it is a sign of implantation or ur cervix being irritated due to being pregnant... I guess you’ll soon know! Good luck :) x

Best thing I ever decided to do was "symptom spot" in the first half of my cycle,

By which I mean, I'd drive myself mad thinking every tweak and twinge was a pregnancy thing, until I realised that actually, it happens all month and I didn't realise until I was actively looking/feeling for it after getting a positive OPK.

Im sure you all know what I mean, googling shit like "itching nipples and sore toe 8dpo am I pregnant" when really it's because you used too much of a new washing powder and stubbed your toe the day before.

I have this sometimes, it can because of pregnancy, and hopefully it is! But it might just be because you've got a slightly bruised cervix if you've been dtd a lot.

Thank you! Fingers crossed! It's only my second actual cycle after a very late loss in November so I'm trying not to get too hopeful as they've probably not even settled yet.

I'm an 7dpo internet cheapie POASer usually but i don't know if I will this time or just wait and see what happens I only bring out the big (expensive!) FRER guns if I get a squinter on the cheapies.

I'm due af on 10th and experiencing some unusual things that wouldn't be exactly normal for me. So im keeping my fingers crossed.

Hopefully some of us will have good things to celebrate over the next few days

@Jordie24 I am exactly the same as you, had a peak on the 23rd and pretty sure i ovulated on the 24th (last sunday) as i remember a really sharp pain in my left ovary which i get during ovulation. Anyways this is only the second month trying for out first baby. I haven't told any of my friends or family that we have started trying so its really difficult having nobody to talk about this with. i used opks this month for the first time ever and had a peak on day 11 and think i ovulated on day 12. So it would make me 7dpo today and due AF 9th Feb. I had weird cramps yesterday, not as strong as AF cramps but they were on my lower left side, they kind of came and went all day and at times sort of radiated to my lower left back. Has anyone experienced this?

I’m not even sure what to think I’m now in a daze hahah! I am also due 10th! Was going to test 4th if these symptoms stay as strong as they are at the mo, emotional, sore and veiny boobs 😬
But if they disappear I will wait for a missed AF!

I usually get sore boobs on ovulation and lots of cramps, so it could be my dates were off and this is my first month. And we jumped in last min only managing to achieve DTD twice 🌚 so would be nothing short of a miracle now it seems.
It is nice to have to first wait with others on the same dates!

Hello cycle buddies! Am 6DPO,due AF on 6th Feb - have now got a load of Internet cheapies and some Frers so I'm planning on testing from tomorrow morning just cos it's my first month and I'm overly excited - no expecting positive but feels like no harm testing this first month, would probably become exoensive after that but will give myself this month to get the novelty out my system 😂
