Only 6DPO and I feel like I’m going crazy! Anyone else with me?

Hi everyone so I got my peak on 23rd January and I think I ovulated on 24th.. I’m now 6DPO ovulation. I tested this morning and obviously I couldn’t see anything, but I’m already planning how to tell my partner and looking at baby clothes.. what is wrong with me! Anybody else? And the wait is dragging too!x

Hi all, I'm 9DPO and feeling exactly the same! Also tested yesterday in a moment of weakness and obvs BFN. Want to TRY and wait until next weekend to test again.

I feel like I go crazy with symptom spotting - had really stinging nipples Friday night and was all excited, but think it was just from my facemask in the bath haha.

We're TTC our first and it's month 3 of trying for us

@Aubyone amazing! First response early response is highly recommend on these threads I’ve noted for early testing 🤣 It’s all I keep seeing.
But start with the cheapies as they say, you are so close to a missed period! So not long to go, mine feels like a million years away. I’ll be thinking of you tomorrow, let us know how you get on! X

Hey @localbunny I’d love to test on my 9DPO which is the 4th and 6 days before my period!
But also thinking I could wait until valentines for a nice surprise to other half. I would be 4 days late by then.
Last valentines we were flying to New York and got engaged... so I’ve got to try and beat that. No pressure ovaries 🤣

@lottieb92 yeah thats what i was thinking, yesterday i had myself convinced i was pregnant or becoming pregnant i guess? like some weird instinct but then today reality kicked in.... and I am doubting all those instincts and putting them down as more.....wanting to be pregnant rather than actually feeling it. In a bid to not test too soon, i ordered some frer ones online that wont be delivered till thursday (hopefully i wont use them all in a day) haha

I see ladies do lovely dated tests with line improvement and darkening! Which would be a lovely memory to have. So keep that in mind when they come in the post. One a day or every 2 days as they day after 48hrs your levels are stronger. But that is a lot of willpower 🤣

Might not help but certainly a plan to stop you using all in one day. Fingers crossed for your BFP x

P.s I was convinced I was pregnant 3DPO 🤣, now I’m also not so sure. I must be going mad!

@lottieb92 I have cellotaped my IC pregnancy tests into a book starting 2 days ago at 6DPO! So if I am pregnant will be nice to see the line progression :) I’ve seen other people doing it so I thought I would give it a go x

This is super random too.. but what’s everyone thoughts on orgasm around implantation time.. partner is dying to bed tonight 😂 but I’m scared it will interfere with implantation if implantation happens of course!xx

@Jordie24 absolutely go for it. We just did . and I am 6-7DPO. There's zero evidence it can have any negative effect, and I'm sure plenty of anecdotal evidence it makes the TWW go better

What about hot baths during this time too? Not like hot where burn ya skin but like really warm xx

I've had both sex and warm/hot ish baths...didn't even think about them being an issue so I hope not 🙈

I have heard no hot baths when pregnant and I try to treat the TWW as if I am pregnant so I wouldn't. Then again I have long cycles so I get plenty of time before and after the TWW to have hot baths etc.

@Jordie24 I have heard both- don't have hot baths when ttc and then also nothing will really impact for the first 3 weeks.

I am trying to err on the side of caution for the most part but did have a warm (not hot) bath today as I had some cramping and generally felt like crap!

I am trying not to inhibit myself too much at this early stage of ttc as I know it could he a long journey and want to keep it as enjoyable and normal as possible for as long as I can 😃

Am I the only one who finds i am preferring work days to weekends during tww? I think its because it provides some distraction? Weekends in lockdown leave nothing to do but hope and wonder.... and symptom spot....

@IndaFlowers totally agree with you on preferring weekdays. I actually feel excited to be working tomorrow (I wfh with an office job Monday - Friday) as it’ll help me focus my mind on something other than pregnancy! All I want to do is test but I know it’s still to early. Last time I tested a few months ago, it was positive but ended up being a chemical so I don’t want to go through that again. I know it’s best to wait until nearer my period start date or better still until I’m late xxx

Morning 8dpo today for me.. tested again as I’m doing a potential progression line.. feel like I can see a very very faint line.. anybody else?

I love the one steps (they're the cheapies I use) but you can get a fairly solid shadow line on them, within the time scale, before it could be considered an evap. It's happened to me more than once. I treat them as a "something to piss on" so I don't waste money. I probably sound really negative but I've got a lot of history with one steps

Don't get me wrong, they picked up DS1 at 10dpo and DS2 at 11/12 dpo, so they do work. But they can be heavy on the shadows!

I’m 10 dpo today, and period is due on Friday. If I test with a normal pink dye test in the morning will it still be too early?

I’m not 💯 sure on my dpo as I don’t do ovulation tests, it’s just what my app says but my periods are always regular.

This morning I had incredibly intense pain in lower abdomen. Its was just centred in one spot but many spots... I could feel in my uterus but also overy and the back like tail bone area...It came on even stronger after a went to the toilet. I had to lie down till it went away. It was horrible. I dont feel like implantation cramps could be that strong and now thinking maybe there is something completely unrelated thats causing it. I'm 8dpo but going to wait till 10pdo to test

@Cafeaulait27 I'm in two minds whether or not to test in the morning. I'm exactly the same as you, 10 dpo and due on Friday. I tested yesterday and got negative, and was going to test again tomorrow, but with a feeling that AF may be on her way I'm now wondering if I just wait and see if AF shows up this week...

@willow2021 sorry to hear you went through that pain! Are you ok now? I guess wait and see if your period comes or not and maybe do a test in a few days. Could be implantation as it affects people differently xx

@Pitstop1986 I think I’m going to wait now. There really is no reason to test so early. I really wanted to test but I’d already prepped my husband to stop me (because if it’s positive I will still worry due to previous chemical and if it’s negative I’ll be upset). I just told him I wanted to test and he was like NO and explained why. He’s a gooden!

I feel a bit nauseous and some aches in my stomach... no signs of any blood. I also have tender boobs and having lots of dreams. It’s just so hard to wait! One minute I think I definitely am and the next I think definitely not.

@Cafeaulait27 yeah the pain only lasted 20 minutes. I suffer from ibs so wondering if that's to do with it. I caved and tested on a cheap pounland one.. I did two in a row and there is a shadow on the first line. It wasn't morning pee. I'm wondering if I should do a more sensitive one tomorrow

@willow2021 maybe post a picture of the test and we can have a look?

A more sensitive test tomorrow would be a good idea!

I had some sharp pains yesterday but I wasn’t sure if it was wishful thinking - hoping for implantation.
