3 days into the TWW and already struggling!!

I'm a few days into the two week wait and hoped there was a few others in the same boat so we could help each other get through the next couple of weeks! AF due on the 29th of Jan, anyone in a similar place??

I'll join you! I'm either 2 or 3dpo today depending on whether I trust my chart or my OPKs 🙈 so AF due around the same time as you.
I'm 30, ttc #1 and on cycle 3 if you also count the one after withdrawal bleed from BC.
How about you?

I had so many symptoms last cycle which I kept a track of and is helping me to remember that if I get any of those again it's probably pms. But so far I haven't had any of those time time - sore boobs, cramping etc.

How about you and do you temp or do OPKs?

WFH in the tww is hard as I procrastinate from work by googling symptoms and comparing charts 😂🙈

I got my ovulation peak yesterday, We have been DTD regularly this week as we have both been off work, usually we are too tired or skip a day or two so I'm feeling hopeful, but I always get disappointed!

AF is due on 31st which is a Sunday.... DH wants to be at home when I test so unless I do it on the Sunday I will have to wait until the next Saturday due to DH work commitments and I'm not sure if I can wait that long haha.
But on the other hand it's just a waste of a test if AF makes an appearance on the Sunday/Monday.

I am in furlough and no idea when I will be going back to work so getting a little bored at home and just waiting for AF 🙈🤣

I also keep adding baby items to my Amazon basket which I really need to stop as I get disheartened every month when AF makes an appearance. Although we have 2 close friends due their babies in July so at least I have an excuse ish to be looking at baby stuff!

Hey! Yea I'm not overly sure how many DPO I am, i only tracked it through an app and EWCM but i think it was around the 12th - 14th, I haven't used the OPKs or temp method this is only my first month trying so think I will get some OPKs for next cycle if this one isn't successful!
I'm 27 ttc #2, my son is 5 and was unplanned so I didn't have any of this waiting to test! Also it was too long ago to remember what my first symptoms were!
I've not really
felt anything so far, i feel extremely tired but I've worked all weekend so am putting it down to that and feel like i have slight cramps but then am conscious that I'm probably more looking for things rather than them actually being there 🙈
Completely know what you mean with googling things, i promised myself i wouldn't do it and now 3 days in and I've not stopped!! 🤣

Hey @Sparkles152 how many months have you been ttc? I think we have DTD quite a lot over ovulation so I am also hopeful but at the same time I'm new to this so not sure how many times we should be DTD for best chances?
I definitely wouldn't be able to wait to test!! 😂 Maybe an early detection test on the Sunday? But then yes irritating to have then used a test if AF later shows up!
I keep getting tempted to look at baby bits too but worry i will jynx it if do 😂 but like you my sister is due her baby July so guess that's an ok excuse to look too! Is it me or does it suddenly feel as though soo many people are pregnant?!

We started trying in September 2019 but stopped in March 2020 due to Covid but in October 2020 we started trying again because I don't think Covid will be going anywhere soon.
I don't always use OPKs as I'm too busy with work to test but being on furlough I have made more of an effort to test and DH has been home this week so we both had the energy to DTD usually we are too tired and end up missing my ovulation window!
I think I will test on the Sunday with a cheap test at least it gives me something to look forward to, although I'll spend the day being grumpy if it's negative haha.

Af due around the 29th for me. Although im ovulating later this month than normal. Ive had high tests the last 3 days so expecting a peak tomorrow or Tuesday. This is cycle number 6 for me and im 31. Fingers crossed for you all x

Hi Ladies I'll join you , I am a bit further along at around 7dpo and although cycle isn't overly consistent AF will be due sometime around this weekend . Been TTC for 13 months and made much of an effort to dtd the whole cycle which I think makes the tww even harder! X

I'll join too! Period due 27th Dec. Positive ovulation on the 15th. DTD on 14th and 15th.
Have horrendous lower backpain since yesterday. Don't want to aggravate myself with symptom spotting but so hard not to!

@fairgame84 it is so tempting isn't it, going to do my best to hold out till the day of my expect period i think or the day after (with the hope it doesn't show up!) just incase of the dissapointment of a negative from testing too early!

Hi @ChloM1234 my period returned in October following my miscarriage and been TTC since then. This is the first month I have used ovulation sticks. Going to keep doing them until I get my next period, they definitely help me stop doing pregnancy tests all the time too! Going to hold out doing a pregnancy test til 30th January too, god it feels so long away though 🥴

This is my second cycle of TTC.
I haven't used ovulation tests yet but I think I might for the next cycle if they work.
I'm getting all my usual pre menstrual symptoms so I don't think this is my month for a bfp.

What does TWW stand for?

Hi all on cycle 16 of TTC (month 14).
@sesamechick Ive also had back pain since yesterday and although I am sure its probably nothing but doesn't help in the tww. I also still don't have very consistent cycles so never really know when to expect the dreaded AF.

Its madness. I am in so much pain. My lower back is so sore. Cant stand up straight. Haven't injured it or anything. Not sure what else it could be!
Must be so frustrating not knowing when your AF is due

@sesamechick yeah it's the most frustrating thing although, assumed it would take a while to normalise after coming off the pill but didn't think it would be over a year! Although my cycles are anything between 22 and 29 days and I know there are people far worse off than me. However I always get 2/3 days spotting before so that's when I know it's on its way!

How are you all getting on and what dpo are you? I'm 6dpo today- it's dragging so much!!
Have a few cramps but feels pretty much the same as ovulation pain. I went for a run yesterday and it almost felt like pre AF cramps then.
Boobs went as sore as last month.
I have pms symptoms (which I obv thought were preg symptoms) for the whole tww last time!

9dpo. Boobs still sore but have been since ovulation.
I don't feel any different at all so not hopeful this month.
I wanted to do a FRER tomorrow but DP wants to wait till AF due.

@Emmgrem 7DPO today. Hate TWW. Started a wee note thing to keep track of my symptoms so if it's BFN I'll know next time. Trying hard not to test too soon. Trying to wait until at least 10/11DPO 🙈

@fairgame84 It's hard to know because some people say they had 0 symptoms the month they were preg. And then other times your crazy 'symptoms' all turn out to be pms 🤷🏻‍♀️
Haha my DH wouldn't even know what the tww was! I keep him out of the stress and I'll surprise him if I get a positive test

@scandiontheloose hold out as long as you can! You could still be implanting! I'm doing the same with the symptoms list. It's why I knew to ignore sore boobs and cramping this time.
Do you temp? I know my temp fell at 9dpo last month so if it's still up by then this time I'll be tempted to test at 10-12dpo 🤞😬
