3 days into the TWW and already struggling!!

I'm a few days into the two week wait and hoped there was a few others in the same boat so we could help each other get through the next couple of weeks! AF due on the 29th of Jan, anyone in a similar place??

Hi everyone, can I join you please? I'm quite new to this. TTC #1 after long term copper coil which I had removed on 4th December. Not figured out what my cycle is like yet. I'm cd21 and I thought I should have been on 8/9 dpo based on 'ovulating pain' I had before but then I've just started getting the flashing smiley face on cb - 3rd day. This process is so confusing 🙃. It's nice to share this journey with others.

@Emmgrem I will do my best not to test too early. Last cycle I went a bit nuts and tested every day after 6DPO 😂🙈
I'm not doing temp but might get into it if this cycle is BFN as tracking temp might help getting ovulation more accurate. Your dip sounds promising tho 🙌🏼 fingers crossed.

@BebeBelle welcome to the TWW club 😁 I had my nexaplanon out last august and I think my body is still a wee bit haywire after it and get very irregular cycles. Tracking my periods on Flo has helped me predict them a wee bit better. Only track CM for ovulation right now but may start BBT after this cycle if it's not a positive test next week.

This TTW is dragging so much we have covid and I'm on furlough to who knows when!
It would be fine if I could tell myself it's okay if I don't get pregnant this month we will book a little holiday to take our minds off it... Oh wait we can't even leave the house to see our families 😢
Feel like I'm on such a downer at the moment and a baby would give us and our families something to look forward to.

@scandiontheloose, thanks for the welcome. I was on the copper coil but it did not agree with me at all. I don't know how i lasted so long with it. I am glad it's out, I was having very long, painful and heavy cycles. I have heard of Flo on here a lot. I might download it. I am using My Tracker and so far it seems ok. Might start BBT as well. Hope it's a positive one for you .

@Sparkles512, awwwh the wait is so frustrating. I feel like I am wishing my days away as I keep getting a flashing smiley face. I thought I had already ovulated so finding the whole process quite confusing. Will carry on POAS but track my dpo based on earlier ovulation symptoms as well. Fingers crossed for you

Is the clearblue touch screen fertility monitor any good or shall I give opks a try first?

@ChloM1234 stay strong and try not to test until af has/hopefully hasn't arrived 🤞.
I'm due anytime now , started spotting yesterday which I always do just before af so am probably out.

Hope no one minds me joining in with tww. I'm 10dpo, tested Tuesday bfn but obviously early days.
Sypmtoms are little different to what comes with af.. Sore boob (yes only one side gives me hell 😂) a dull heaviness in my left lower tummy, tiredness like you wouldn't believe but that's a combination of a three year old and working days and nights possibly.
First month ttc, no pill for 2 years so nothing to get out of the system.
Tww is the longest time ever!

Positive Ov test on Jan 15th
Tested this morning but sometimes i see what I want to see. I know its too early to test but really hoping x

AF is due on 31st and I'm pretty certain we are out this month due to us having covid it must have affected both our bodies so I don't even think I'll bother testing.
I'll pour myself a glass of gin and try next month 🤞

@Sesamechick I tested Tuesday, negative. But that was early obviously, I feel different to af symptoms. Tired, achy boobs, dull ache in tummy. Pretty similar to what I felt with my first. Sending dh off to tesco to get tests later 😁

I feel pretty much the same as you! Also have terrible lower back pain and crampy legs. No idea why? I always feel silly saying what I'm feeling bc then I feel like an idiot if/when I get AF. So difficult bc symptoms so similar! I tested today but i think i saw what I wanted to see but obv not confident enough to be sure lol i have 4 more cheap ones plus i just ordered 2x FRER which are coming tomorrow. I'm addicted to POAS hahaha

With first I only took two tests, both positive but I needed to see it for a second time ha!
I've got work every morning now till Tuesday but might test tomorrow morning anyway

This hopefully would be #4. How old is your child? With them also I somehow managed to test on or after AF due/late. I dont know what is wrong with me this time around haha
I tested this morning and thought i saw a v v v faint line but who knows. Probably dreaming it! Going to use a cheap test tomorrow morning. Do you do FMU?
Husband doesn't even know I'm testing now. I stopped BC in August but we had a hard few months so hardly DTD around Ovulation time until this month. I would just love to be able to surprise him with a +. He has no idea when I'm due on hahaha he feels it may take us longer this time around x

@Sesamechick he was 3 on Halloween 😊 yes use fmu, it rests my mind knowing it'll be the strongest result I suppose.
Time seems to stop when we're waiting for something so important doesn't it!

Awwww so sweet! 3 is such a cute age, love that stage.
Oh yes time goes by soooooo slow while waiting. I wish I didn't let it get to me so much and just be patient! Really frustrating.
Tested with a cheapy this morning and obv BFN. I'm getting 2 FRER delivered today. Not sure if it is worth testing with 1 today or waiting? AF due Wed.

Oohhhh we both due Wed. Do you know when you ovulated? Im only going by a strong positive ovulation test which was on Jan 15th.
Have you tested at all?
I used a cheap one this morning and was BFN.
So frustrating isnt it??!! X

@Sesamechick Yeah ov'd on the 14th jan.
Had a 13 day LP last month.

I don't know whether to test tomorrow or Monday/Tuesday.
A few people on here recently have had bfn at 10DPO on FRERs and then BFP at 11 or 12dpo.
But it would be nice to get my positive on a Sunday to have the day with my H to talk about it rather than a Monday when I won't be able to concentrate on work 😬🤷🏻‍♀️

@Sesamechick I think I'll see what my temp does in the morning. I've got back pain today which I didn't get last cycle pre AF, but if my temp plummets I'll take it as an AF sign 🤷🏻‍♀️
If it stays high maybe I'll be tempted to use a FRER but not consider myself totally out if it's bfn.
