I have made a new thread as the last one is almost full. I hope this ok @apwilso and have added as many people as I could find to it.

New to this forum so wanted to introduce myself.

I’m from Cheshire East, just turned 30. Been TTC for 5 cycles. So far have tried tracking app and basal temp. Trying ovulation sticks for the first time this month. Been marriage for 3.5 - will be out first baby. Trying not to get frustrated. Finding it tricky to discuss with friends many who conceived the first time or without trying.

Had a sudden temperature drop today at 10 dpo to below cover line. I'm thinking it's either implantation or AF is appearing super early.
Fingers crossed it rises back up again tomorrow!

@lth1991 welcome to the group :) it's so frustrating isn't it! This is cycle 5 for us too! I'm desperate to be pregnant this month or next to avoid being pregnant for my 30th haha!

I’m 36 and this is my 19th cycle!
I know it’s hard because you want it to happen immediately, but try and remember that up to a year or so is completely normal! I didn’t start getting worried until after that and have been having all my tests done. When I had my internal scan the doctor said there was nothing wrong and it just takes time (especially at my age). She wasn’t fazed at all and said I’m too young for IVF! So I hope that gives you some reassurance x

@Misty84 thanks reassuring, I definitely need to put less pressure on myself.

The silver lining was I did at least get to enjoy a gin and tonic on my 30th

Spotting has just started. With could very well be implantation bleed as only 10dpo...but I really feel like it's AF ridiculously early 😭

@Tabbycat92 when are you actually due?

I've just been toilet and had some EWCM not much but a small amount. OH should have come home tonight but isn't home till tomorrow but I feel like I can feel ovulation about to happen so fingers crossed This is the cycle!

@apwilso AF is due saturday/Sunday. I'm 10dpo. I've had headaches and nausea on and off all day, which I don't usually get with AF. I generally don't spot either. This is literally just a brown/pink tinge when wiping, you've gotta squint to see it.
I think I'm just all out if hope to think it's anything other than AF

@apwilso ah exciting about ovulation! Get busy as much as possible! Fingers crossed for you!

@Tabbycat92 fingers crossed it's not AF!! I've had really bad headaches all week😵 I know what you mean so many negatives you think you'll see never see one!

I was hoping to join the forum as I’m in the same boat.

A little about myself - I’m 35 in a few weeks, panicking as I’m now apparently of advanced maternal age. I live in Glasgow and I have a gem of an OH. I’ve been trying to conceive for about 8 months now and no joy. I have pcos so my cycles are long - I’ve just started my period and now I need to wait until April until I ovulate again. It feels ages away!

Results from OH's SA are back. He's got to have an over the phone appointment with the doctor to discuss on friday. Is this normal procedure or something they only do if something is wrong? I'm a mess xxx

Welcome @louise1051 It must be so frustrating having to wait so long to ovulate. Fingers crossed for you this cycle 🤞

@laura2093 I haven't any experience but I'd imagine it's normal that the doctor would want to explain any results, good or bad. Try not to stress about it. My friends has pcos and her husband also has low sperm count and they've managed to conceive twice now

@laura2093 chances are the doctor just wants to explain the test results and give you guys a chance to ask any questions.

@Tabbycat92 I hope it isn’t AF ...that tww is the worst I got so stressed I ended up in tears one night.

Have to stay optimistic that one day it will be a positive pregnancy test xx

@laura2093 Doctor wanted to talk to my OH on the phone about his results, and they were fine.

Well Bbt has dropped further today, so that's me defo out 😭

Hi all, feeling confused. Had three days of positive first response and CB non digital but 3 days of negative CB digital. Feel confused! Period was due 2 days ago. Albeit the lines are faint but defo there. No sign of it and boobs feeling slightly sore. I just feel like I can't believe it until I see it in writing...

@Diddy28 I believe the digitals aren't as sensitive as others. Give it a few more days and try again

So if your temp drops do you know for certain you’re out before AF arrives? (sorry to ask this question, it’s my first month temping so I’m getting to grips with it!)

@Misty84 if your temp drops before coverline it generally mean that AF is due or if it is just a one day drop and goes back up it can be implantation.
It's odd for me as my temp doesn't usually drop until the day of AF but this is a few days early
