@apwilso it definitely was and I wasn't expecting it either as I only drank diet stuff anyway so thought it would be ok . 🤣 how wrong I was, but made me more determined to stay off it. I have ordered a treadmill too as finding it hard to get out for a walk when the weather is awful and WFH too . Conceive plus was good . I still have some actually. I made sure to use preseed every time we dtd this month and also raised my hips for 30-40 mins after dtd to help the sperm get to the right place . Again not sure if it helps 🤣. Will see in a couple of weeks 🙈

Hi everyone just checking back in... hope everyone is ok.

I’m in my TWW I think but I’m not actually sure as I didn’t use any OPKs this month and for me it’s been a breath of fresh air. I’ve not even checked when I’m due on. We’ve DTD nearly every other day apart from when OH has been on nights. I’ve been and had a blood test done which came back normal and I’ve got an ultrasound in a couple of weeks to check for any abnormalities so we’ll see.

I’ve had little bits of spotting this month and little cramping pains which I’ve never had before so I’ve got no idea what that is - not sure if anyone else has experience similar?

@Tabbycat92 sounds like a good sign. I’ve got my fingers crossed for you!

@1992EM I’m guessing your at the same stage in your cycle as I am?

@apwilso the TWW is the hardest bit I think.

@laura2093 I wouldn’t worry too much, I know it’s hard and everyone is different but I normally only got my peak around CD 16/17.

laura2093 · 09/02/2021 20:02

Only thing we haven't tried is things like pre-seed or conceive plus? Any reviews?

Tabbycat92 · 09/02/2021 20:11

@lrw26 nah it wasn't a good sign unfortunately. AF appeared shortly after, so I'm now on cd15 and due to ovulate on Thursday. I took a break from MN as I always do once AF appeared.

How's everyone doing this month? Anything exciting happened in the last 2 weeks?

1992EM · 09/02/2021 20:30

@LRW26 yeah I think we are very similar. I am due AF on the 19th/20th. X
@laura2093 I have used both. Conceive plus is individual wrapped and preseed you get a tube and then 9 syringes. I prefer preseed for that reason as feel it is better value but both are ok . Obviously not had success yet but haven't always used it . I tend to use it 1 day each month but this month I used it every time. Will see if it works this month. It definitely gets good reviews though.

@tabbycat92 a break definitely helps ❤ good luck with your fertile week xxx

LRW26 · 09/02/2021 22:10

@Tabbycat92 a break definitely helps and helps you get in the right mindset for the next month so totally get it. Sending luck for your fertile week x

@laura2093 we’ve used conceive plus the whole time we’ve been trying (a year) but I’ve no idea if it actually does work. I’m going to still keep using it anyway X

I’ve just realised my page mustn’t have updated when I came back on so I’ve just caught back up 🤦🏻‍♀️

apwilso · 10/02/2021 21:32

On the talk of pre seed and that. We've got the conceive plus lube and my OH hates it😅 but I haven't got the individually wrapped on so I ended up squirting basically the whole tub everywhere 😂 I've literally just ordered conceive plus tablets read reviews on it last night and everyone's like pregnant after a month. Pregnant after a week on them. Pregnant within an hour of them! So I'm like jesussss must be good 😂😂

1992EM · 10/02/2021 22:31

@apwilso 🤣 this made me laugh. The individual ones are alright. I haven't heard of the tablets. If this is not the month I shall purchase them too 🤣🙈 must have spend a small fortune on ttc now x

Anyone else ever had it that their LH strips just don't get any darker? I'm now cd17 due to ovulate today (last 2 months it's been cd16 ovulation) and my lh strips are still very low, and definitely negative 😞 I'm worried I won't ovulate this month

1992EM · 11/02/2021 23:37

@tabbycat92 I thought that this month and then all of a sudden they went dark . I was also a couple of days after when I got a peak the month before. My opks the day before my peak were barely visible . Whereas I usually get a build up to a peak . I also tested twice a day too and that is how I caught it early and ended up getting 3 positive opks . I hope this helps and you get your peak soon. X

Misty84 · 12/02/2021 06:35

Hi @Tabbycat92, I used CB which always showed me a clear peak but they’re so expensive after TTC for so long that I switched to Onestep opks, 2 months using them and I’ve never got a dark line! Negative every time which has been confusing and worrying. However I haven’t tried testing twice a day as @1992EM has suggested so maybe that’s the trick!

Tabbycat92 · 12/02/2021 06:41

@Misty84 @1992EM thanks both. I've been testing around 4/5 a day the couple days around due ovulation so defo should have caught it if it had happened. Keep testing today and see what happens!
I'm using the same strips that I've used for the last 6 months too, and never had an issue before
I'm hoping it's just later than expected

Misty84 · 12/02/2021 06:46

@Tabbycat92 Oh that is confusing, I hope you get a positive today! 🤞

1992EM · 12/02/2021 08:56

@Misty84 and @Tabbycat I use one step too but have the CB ones to confirm peak . I only use between 2 -4 a month as they are so expensive and I am pretty regular so generally know when I will ovulate. I have found the one step ones to be a lot lighter than usual too. I tested using SMU and then around 5ish I really struggle to not go to the toilet for 4 hours so the morning one is usually darker . Hopefully you get your peak soon x

Tabbycat92 · 12/02/2021 10:27

@1992em yeah I find it hard holding on for more than 3 hours, I drink far too much coffee for that haha. I did get a darker result right before bed at 10 last night, so hoping that's a sign of getting peak today

1992EM · 12/02/2021 20:59

@tabbycat92 did you get a peak today? X

OP posts:
Tabbycat92 · 12/02/2021 21:09

@1992EM yes! Thank goodness ☺️ 2 days later than usual/predicted

1992EM · 12/02/2021 21:09

@tabbycat92 ohhh good, time to get busy 🤣

OP posts:
DNpink82 · 13/02/2021 08:44

Ive completely lost my mojo this month 😔, premom says I ovulate tomorrow (but we know how predictable that is 🙄) I haven't used a single opk and we haven't dtd since last weekend. Doesn't help that dh is on annual leave so staying up later, drinking and snoring so I've been in the spare room a few nights coz I've been so busy at work and exhausted. It's only been 6 months but I'm feeling deflated and that it's never going to happen 😩

Tabbycat92 · 13/02/2021 12:23

@DNpink82 I feel exactly the same this month. Have had to force myself to do opk's. Just not feeling hopeful at all 😔
Make sure you have a good few go's the next couple of days, and you'll have done all you can ❤️

DNpink82 · 13/02/2021 12:31

@Tabbycat92 I'm having a month off trying, I feel like I need a break from it all then hopefully will feel more positive about it all next month

1992EM · 13/02/2021 17:46

@DNPink82 I hope you are ok. It is so hard and a month off sounds like a good way to recharge. Ttc ends up taking over your whole life and has really impacted my mood at different points in the journey as you can vent how you feel to anyone in person other than you oh . Have you got a close friend you trust that you could talk to as well. We are always here too but I know sometimes speaking to someone in person can help too ❤❤ x

@1992EM my friend knows so had a good chat today, I've decided I don't want a Nov/Dec baby either as I have horses and it'll be really hard work so just going to relax the next month or so. I'm going to have a lovey drink tonight with my Hubby as it is Valentine's Day after all tomorrow 🤣🤣

1992EM · 13/02/2021 19:34

@DNPink82 Good ❤ That sounds like a lovely night and a good way to let your hair down. Majority of my family are born in December/Jan which is a pain when it comes to presents and ideas for gifts 🤣🤣🤣 . I think if I am pregnant this month I will be due on Halloween 🤣. I did say I wouldn't want a winter baby as it is already so busy but changed my mind when it didn't happen like I had planned 🤣. Horses would definitely be hard to handle heavily pregnant or with a new born especially in this kind of weather.

I've had a little break from MN period was horrendous! Ended up DTD yesterday (AF had faded out) which then AF decided she wasn't quite done 😖 we've decided that this month we won't be doing ovulation tests for one I know roughly when I do and the symptoms and it's a lot of money!!! We feel like TTC is taking away the fun on the sexual side of things so will just go with the flow!
