Hope you are all okay. I really must log in more often so I don't have so much catching up to do....

Well the baby gods are conspiring against me this month. Not only have I wasted valuable practice time by being chained to the loo for 3 days, but just as me & dh were planning a bit of sauciness last night, dd has come down with my stomach bug poor baby...

So spent last night cleaning up sick instead of jumping dh!

On the plus side, my clothes now feel looser and by my reckoning I should ov around cd 16 so there's still time. The plan now is to pack dd off to bed early tonight (cos sleep is the best medicine ) and get some swimmers up there waiting....

Am concerned that oral may be bad for the little swimmers - we almost always start off with that!

GG i have to say we do something similar when we need to "get the job" done and DH is tired!! It's all about the finish (and timing, as you say)on those occasions IYSWIM! It was like that on Monday when i got the smiley face, and we knew what needed to be done, and wanted to do it, but it did feel a bit clinical, as it was a case of shoving it in at the last minute! It was lovely and special because of the reasons we were doing it, but you can't beat a good old fashioned spontaneous shag!!! Last month we hardly bothered in the 2ww, and this time we have realised that it's good to still have fun, and not do it just when needed.

Hi mob must admit I am a bit disconcerted about the whole saliva vs little swimmers thing.... am the same as you - we usually get things going that way But then I think "what the hell, a girls gotta have a bit of fun...!"

I am trying to make it a bit more spontaneous this month otherwise we may as well use a girly mag and a turkey baster....

At the end of the day who cares how it's done as long as the job gets done

DP and I are normally ok in the bedroom dept, so I have taken the option not to tell him when the 'crucial' days are, no need for extra pressure to ruin things

Although recently bought some new undies from Ann Summers, so he may get suspicious when I put those on. Although annoying thing is in order to convince myself I look anything like the model in the magazine I would of had to have downed a few glasses of wine. Now there's a dilemma

Trying to think if a name, like we have the 2WW for post ov, but need something for pre ov and all the stress and symptom spotting that goes with that too

Well it's quite stressful, cause like you're waiting to do the job, and really don't want to get it wrong as such cause you know how sh*t you'll feel at the end of the month.

Although I know it's more complex than that obviously but you have to give it your best shot (or his ), else when you test and get a BFN you'll end up thinking well if only we'd tried harder.

Anyone had blood tests done to check for ovulation?

I was naughty and lied to the GP....told her we had been trying for 8 months....in fact only 4-5.

She has suggested I take day 21 bloods to check progesterone levels. I was using the clearblue fertility monitor that NEVER picked up on ovulation though, so I am a little worried.....

I am concerned about this secondary infertility thing...I have a 3 year old son already, but this time it feels harder....

shazza what did you get fron ann summers?? peep hole bra? crotchless knickers? or a saucy pvc french maids outfit??

seeing as we're all sharing, here's a question I've wanted to ask...does using a vibrator affect the sperm/egg/implantation? wondered about dusting off the old marital aid at some point this cycle!!

gave dh a 'handjob' this morning, just to prove that our sex life isn't all about ttc! CD5 doesn't have to be boring!!

Hello just popped in ttc for 13 months now 1 MC July 2006.

Dungirl - I had day 21 test and have never been able to pick up a positive on ovulation tests. Each day 21 test had been positive and over 60 (I think it has to be over 30 to ovulate) so I don't know why the sticks don't work. So don't worry if you don't get positives with them.

Thanks Poppy75 that makes me feel a whole lot better!

I will probably have the blood test to confirm, but it makes me feel better than the ovulation sticks obviuosly don't work properly for everyone!

Anyone else, trying for no.2 or more and finding it taking longer /more stressful than one/s before?

dungirl i have i one dd 2.1yrs old, i have been trying for the last 10 months and it is really freaking me out. It took 4 months with dd and the first 3 months i was in a very stressful job!! Gave it up and got pg the very next month!! I am really struggling at the mo, getting BFN every month is really starting to get me down, but mn is great and its so lovely with some many supportive ladies on here to help you out!!! how long have you been ttc #2?

Fab idea about toys dg !! had the same idea at the weekend and went and bought batteries especially..... I think a nurses outfit would do the job for dh rather than the maid - would think he had died and gone to heaven if I walked into the bedroom dressed as that!! Although I would probably be more Hattie Jacques than Barbara Windsor...
