Just popped in to check - CONGRATULATIONS SK!!!

nakumara I've just had my first cycle after stopping the pill. It was 39days. I convinced myself the whole time that AF wasn't arriving because I must be PG. It probably is just a dodgy cycle and then you can get it out of the way and start the real BDing, or you could have OV late

Either way this is a lucky thread and I am convinced we'll all get our BFP's very soon.

I know I won't be so positive when AF probably turns up at end Nov but have to be positive why I can

I know we're all different but gives me something to read and makes the day go quicker

I am excited and positive, but then this is only the 1st month of really trying.

thanks ladies means a lot as I know a lot of you are so desperate for your own BFPs. TBH it's happy news but also very scary, I have lost the naivity that BFP = baby at the end. I will go for a scan at 8 weeks then at 12 and only at 12 will I breathe easier. Stick on in there little bean (am certain it's a girl but then again thought I wasn't pregnant this month).

Congratulations to the others who have had BFPs over the past few days - it's hard to keep up, but this is definitely a lucky thread so i've bought my suitcase and am taking up residence here for the remainder of my 2ww!! (But seeing as the 2ww thread is right nextdoor i will pop in there regularly as well!)

well it's BFN for me this month am afraid, but I was about a cycle behind SK in ttc anyway so if at first you don't succeed....

I need to ask a question - when the hell do I ovulate ? Cycles were always 28 days but that was due to being on pill - 1st cycle off pill was 39 days, am just at beginning of cycle 2.
Am I best working out when would be the earliest I could ov & when the lastest would be and then just BD my heart out ?

mcchillers Sorry about your BFN. I think August will be a great time to have a baby. I am on cycle 2 aswell trying for an August baby

foghorn I am in exactly the same situation as you.

Normally 28 day cycle on pill, 1st cycle off pill 39 days.

I plan to (a very big plan to) BD from around tonight now AF has left, at least every 2-3 days (help me ladies I am trying) for as long as I can. Problem being with 39 day cycle, and luteal phase possibly being between 10-16 days, theoretically I could not ov until CD29.

Am I classed as obsessed or insane yet?

But I feel like I'm cheating, a friend has leant me their CBFM so at least I can tell when I've ov.

Maybe get some cheap opk and start testing from around CD10?

You can tell me to but out if you wish

I'd thought about OPK but didn't know how they work - so I don't have to start using them when AF leaves - I can just start around day 10 or so.

Well they say to start from the earliest you could possible ov. I would say from day 10 should cover it. Although if you want to cover all bases you could start from when AF leaves but unlikely that you would ov that early. The cheap ones you get 10 so start CD10 will cover you until CD19, should hopefully get a sign during that time

TBH, I am using the CBFM not only for knowing when I am ov but also to make sure I am as that's always been my worry. So only partly cheating

BIG proper congrats SK hope it's a sticky little pumpkin seed that gets big and fat for July!!!

Now...did I hear someone say we're up for some August babies? Can I have one please?? Then an indian summer for pushing the pram in the park during september/october.

hello, ds asleep and I've got a cup and tea and a kit kat, ready for some much needed MNing.

I've got a symptom question for you wise old things. I've had a strange taste in my mouth for a few days. Not exactly metallic, but bitter-y I guess, kind of at the back of my mouth. It has come and gone, but is here more and more.
Do you reckon I have some kind of yummy gum fungus (just in time for halloween, hurrah!) or could it be a sign of you know what? [hopeful emoticon]
No real other symptoms. I've felt a little light headed and a little nauseous but don't trust myself with those as I have wrongly imagined them to be pg symptoms in the past
AF is due on Friday..

Right here's all the gories especially for Shazza, last AF 4th October, 27 day cycle so next AF due Halloween. Had sex CD11, 13 and 14, couldn't have sex CD15 as neice was staying over and we can't shut bedroom door due to cats but got positive on the cheap opks on Thursday CD15, loads of EWCM since CD13-16, DP was too tired to have sex Friday night so went in mood with him said it was all his fault if I didn't get pregnant and if I did it would be a girl and that would be his fault as well. Anyway yesterday did 4 ebay chep tests all with a faint line, this mornign did another one another faint line, big PREGNANT on CBD.

EDD will be about 9th July 2008, going to be an expensive month for us DP's birthday is the 14th, DD1's is the 20th. DD1 will be 4 exactly, DD2 2 1/2. W

Have already thought if it is a girl it can wear all DD1's baby clothes I kept that DD2 never wore as she was a January babe.

Just have to hope my little pumpkin sticks now.

Oh symptom wise practically nothing, bit more CM and need to pee a bit more, boobs doing nothing either.

Wow - I was defo doing too much BD'ing last month

foghorn - the month before last we had loads of sex and got a BFN, DD1 and 2 are the results of one BD that month (DP away) so I think it's more quality than quantity with us.
