ddd666 Could it be too early though?

spookykitty · 30/10/2007 15:08

thanks lissie that is good for a 2 pack of CBDs

shazza - can't go down the shops DD2 sleeping and have to wait in for a delivery argh! maybe it's just as well

screaming lips - on opks you always get two lines, the normal control line and the test line, usually the test line is fainter, this is because you always have a little LH in your body, what you are looking for is the test line to be as dark or darker than the control line. I had the cheapie opks this month and had one day where the test line was about the same as the control line (CD15) same as last month with the CBD opks when I had a on CD15.

I would keep peeing on the opks until you get a darker line, dpo is days past ovulation

Shazza2002 · 30/10/2007 15:12

sk I think that probably is just aswell, what is one more day anyway

You can tell I've only just started TTC again, prepared to waste money on tests for this and tests for that, it's like being back at school in the science lab, DP is frightened to open any drawers in the bedroom now

Thepuddingchef · 30/10/2007 15:53

Hello Ladies,

cricri · 30/10/2007 16:26

Hi everybody,
I've been lurking for a while and thought I should finally take the plunge as this seems to be such a lucky thread! I recognise some names from the post-mc thread.
This is my first proper cycle post mc (Sept 07) ttc #1. I'm now on CD 15 and BDing every other day at the moment hoping we'll get lucky this month.
Congratulations to all those with BFPs over the past few days and hope some of your baby dust rubs off on those of us still in the waiting room...
SK I'm on tenterhooks - really hoping it's a BFP for you!

Thepuddingchef · 30/10/2007 16:35

Deb.....he won't be home until 2030!

libralady · 30/10/2007 17:25

SK
I did my first test 5 days before AF was due using an e-bay cheapy and got the very very faint line. Then I re-tested 2 days later with an out of date Asda one. Put it in the cupboard and forgot about it until I returned from work and had a very very strong BFP.
Actually did another e-bay cheapy today as I've had no symptoms other than tender (.)(.)s and some tiredness. The control line came up straight away and it took a while for the second line to appear but it was definately there stronger than before but not as clear as my out of date Asda one. Today I am 7 days late.
IMHO it's looking good for you.
Let us know when you test again.

libralady · 30/10/2007 17:27

puddingchef
I hope you mean 8.30pm tonight and not the year 2030! [hgrin}

libralady · 30/10/2007 17:27

...

spookykitty · 30/10/2007 17:27

Have been on 2 week wait thread and now convinced it was an evaporation line BUT 2 evaporation lines and none on my water control and I saw the second line within 10 minutes but it was so faint you had to squint to see it.

Am now going officially mad, think I will have to go and get a bloody CBD tomorrow now, bet I buy it and by the time I get it home to pee on it AF has turned up

bloodsuckingLOONEY · 30/10/2007 18:08

Hang on.....isn't a line a line??

debinaustria · 30/10/2007 18:49

I got the faint line on a cheapy too SK on the day my af was due , and on the next day, a couple of days later I got a CBD and it was thee in black and white.

Can't wait to check on you tomorrow

Deb

spookykitty · 30/10/2007 19:08

Did ANOTHER test, still have 4 left still the faintest of faint lines

Holly78 · 30/10/2007 19:09

Thanks for adding me to your list, and congrats to all you lucky moms to be!!!xx

Screaminglips · 30/10/2007 19:21

spooky - if the line is very faint...youre in your early days of pg!!
