Morning everyone!

Just before bed last night,DH and I had a bet on what this mornings test outcome would be. I bet it would be "not pregnant" and DH the "pregnant" and there was 20p at stake!- Big spenders!

Well woke up this morning and did the test, then went back to bed, Convinced it was going to say no.
Last night started to have feelings downstairs, just as AF was imminent.

DH went to see the test then came into the bedroom shouting about how i owe him 20p.Yeah yeah whatever i said and went to look.
He wasnt Joking and clear as day "Pregnant"!!!!

Im so in shock! really didnt expect it at all!

Obviously my dizzyness in the gym and in the shower were signs!

I still feel like AF is coming anyday!

Well my sister is 2mnths pregnant, so our babies will be cousins and can grow up together as they will only be a few months apart. Our parents will be busy with the babysitting!
Cant wait to tell them!!

Keep going into the bathroom to look at it, expecting to see the NOT has popped up in front!

Ive heard people lately on here that used CBD's that said no but normal ones said yes, so was thinking that it if it was a BFP then it wouldnt be strong enough to be detected on a CBD.- especially as AF would be due wed. so abit early.

Now I have the worry that it could be twins!
OMG! My mum is a twin and ive had friends worry me that cause i had 2 days of on my OPK's that i could of ovulated twice, making two! OMG! [worried emotion]

Really feels like it isnt happening to me and that im just looking in on the situation

Brilliant news pigley {grin] so happy for you but also a teeny weeny bit thats lovely news about your DB being close in age to it's cousin as well. I know how much you wanted to be too.

Wouldn't worry too much about the aches and pains feeling like AF is coming you will get a lot of strange feelings and aches it's just everything stretching getting ready for the baby to grow.

As for twins don't worry too much I think if it to be it's to be not much you can do about it buy one get one free would be fab

I know, I know you just can't believe it and keep going back to that test to check it hasn't changed/disappeared/exploded! It's real and CBD in my opinion is the most acurate.

Twins, if a little more hard work would be fantastic, a double blessing

Take a picture of the test before it disappears, good first picture for the baby book.

Morning ladies

Congratulations piggly, that is wonderful news and really cheered up my Monday morning.

Hi to cycle buddies MTW and DG, it's great having somebody to count the days with.

Only problem with a long cycle is you never actually know when you're 'overdue'. Although I am using the CBFM this month so have told myself that if (big if) I get my peak day, I am not going to test until at least 14 days after. I say that now when I'm on CD2, see how long it lasts . But I do have 2 cheapy tests from ebay and 3 from another site so have some to waste so to speak. Anyway, enough of the rambling, like I say only CD2 so long way to go. I am just so pleased that AF arrived and can 'play the game' as starlight puts it.

Pigley huge congratulations, I saw yesterday that you were testing today so I popped in to see the results, will you still be able to join us in due in June or will you be in July?

Pigley - Hooray!!!! good news at last !!!!! . Is your mum a non-identical twin or a identical twin?...my mum is a non-identical twin and there is 5 sets of twins inc my Nan on my Dads side that are non-identical twins (gulp!!). They say that it skip an generation on non-identical twins but who knows!!..

And yes that is lovely to have your Sister being pg too. Same to my brothers DD who is 6m younger than my DD and they are very close indeed.

ans also the non-identical twins in my family, i/my brother have a better chance in having twins or one of my kids have twins, than if there is identical twins - iykwim???

Great news! I still keep checking mine too - as apart from feeling a bit queasy, I still don't feel pregnant!

Keeping fingers crossed for the rest of you - more babies are conceived in November in the UK than any other month! Go girls!

I've tested a couple of times now, bfn both times, but no sign of AF. This is my first full cycle so I have no idea when I'm due. Tested last on saturday morning (CD29) so think I'll be popping to the shops again at lunch!

girls...can i buy those cheapie opks, like off Ebay, in the shops? or ebay is the only place??

shazza I'm charting my temps this cycle so I'll know for definite when I've ov'ed and will not test until 18 days after. I'm convinced I've just had a non-sticky egg - it would explain the 3 days of spotting last week, two days of no spotting and then AF turning up 16 days after ov.

x-posted foghorn sorry to hear AF got you. hopefully the clocks going back will get us all nice a cosy with our respective DH's and send us to bed earlier.

{sad] PB I know hon, I'm only cycle 3 but doesn't stop me feeling very sad when AF deems to show her face.

DG I think it will help to know when/if you've ov, and if you BD at the right time at least you know you're in with a shot so to speak,that's the way I'm thinking, as Dale say's "You've got to be in it to win it!". The worse thing for me last month was knowing that I wasn't PG so was just waiting for AF.

Sorry TEW got you foghorn, having long cycles is a nightmare as you convince yourself that you must be 'overdue' for a good reason, but it's just TEW playing tricks.
