Morning all, I'm still lurking whilst waiting for AF after stopping pill on 13th.

Bored now! Was on Loestrin so haven't had an AF at all for two years which means I have no idea what a normal cycle would be like. Does anyone know whether, even though I haven't had an AF yet I could still ovulate?

But at least it was a shorter cycle, thats got to be good.
DH is looking forward to some more BDing but tells me I really should be pregnant by now that the time is right!

Holly - hello and welcome I'm ttc#3 as well, my two are littlies though, 3.3y and 21 months.

fairysnuff - welcome back and sorry the EW got you again

Well CD25 for me and I'm doing well on the no testing front, I swing from yes this could be my month to no AF will here by Halloween. Also go between think I will pee on an ebay cheapie tomorrow to NO I am going to wait until 1st November then if no AF I will test. SK feels she has a little good angel and a little bad devil on her shoulder. DP told me this morning that he really wants a boy and would be disappointed with a girl for a bit I'm really not bothered I have a feeling I will have 3 girls though.

Right best be off DP is off to Ireland today to run the marathon tomorrow so have 2 days just me and the DDs so loads of MN time but I will need it, pity I can't have a ncie few glasses of Pinot in the evening quite fancy it.

Funny you should say that about feeling like you'll have three girls - I'm one of four sisters and my mum is one of three. I've never really imagined having boy babies! Tho of course I'd be very happy with either

I have always had a very slap dash approach to this business so I don't even know what CD means

we have been more careful lately doing charts ovulation tests etc so fingers crossed

Thanks nakamura I think it's ony natural to want a baby the same sex as you are so you can share all the things you did as a child with them for instance I loved buying the DDs My Little Ponies as I had them when I was little, I think DP would love to get trainsets and Star Wars for a little boy not that our girls don't have train sets, DD2's favourite thing is Bob the Builder. He said he would never be disappointed with another like the DDs. I would feel sorry for him though can you imagine being Dad to 3 teenage girls, a scary thought!

It's strange how some families are all girls others all boys, maybe you will have a boy to buck the trend!

morning all sorry about your af dg, hello to all fellow newbies,
i have actually been ttc for 16months only been ttc officially (pregnacare, clb fm etc) for 4 cycles

im one of 5 girls so would love a little boy my mom couldnt carry boys so fingers crossed ill be able to cause other than my mom the pattern in our family tends to be girl boy boy, either way i would love dd to have a sibling

SK what does pmsl mean? Do you have test stock envy? I realised that I actually have another double pack of First Response test when I went into the cupboard today.

But as I discovered today no matter how many tests you have it doesn't help you get pregnant! I used one of my First Response tests and it was BFN then an hour later AF arrived. TEW had to wait until after I'd tested!

I had a feeling this wasn't going to be my month, obviously disappointed but it's as I expected to doing ok. Definately going to treat myself to CB OPK now. I don't think I can fit much more in my bathroom cabinet though. lol.

I've asked this on the 2ww thread but could I ask here too? It's a bit embarrassing My periods seem to start with brown blood for a day or so then go red is that normal? Do I class CD1 from brown or red blood? Any opinions?

07MTW - aww so sorry AF turned up I don't think it's my month either. pmsl = p myself laughing no I'm in awe of all your tests but as you said unfortunately they don't bring a BFP with them. I believe you are supposed to count the first day of bright red bleeding as CD1 i.e. the first day you need a tamon or towel.

Well ive just been to sainburys are purchased a twin pack of CBD tests. Crazy lady!
Due on Wed but gonna try one tomorrow morning as I just cant wait! Been trying so hard not work myself up this month but I caved in under the pressure (plus i kinda have a good feeling)

Very few people know we are ttc and typically whilst packing the shopping into the bag, an old friend jumps out and starts chatting. I swear she saw as her eyes kept looking at the conveyer belt. Oh well. Hopefully ill be able to tell the world some good news soon.

Off to the gym in a bit to hopefully keep my mind off it for a while.

sfrightx Welcome. As you can see I've been on here a bit but still have to ask what some abbr mean! Just ask if you do want to know anything we are a friendly bunch. Do you want to be added to the list? You are TTC 2, Cycle 12 and what's your CD?

Pigley The temptation got too much ehh? At least you are showing restraint in having bought them today but not using until tomorrow. Good luck. I'm very impressed with you going off to the gym I can't be bothered to get off the sofa!

DH is cooking tea, I'm not allowed to know what it is but I've seen some very healthy vegetables being chopped. Hope he's got chocolate fudge cake with cream for afters! Or anything with cream will do.

Hi, can I join? Just had my first AF after stopping bf dd, so I guess I'm ttc #2, cd 7, cycle 1.

I got pregnant fairly quickly with dd, but I've been reading a lot on here and in the media about secondary infertility, which has put the fear up me. Aside from temping and charting, is anyone doing anything special to try to boost their chances? I've seen grapefruit juice for me and zinc for dh mentioned, anything else?

Evening all

Well TEW finally got me today CD40. So first cycle off pill, and I must say I'm quite relieved she's finally come, knew she was on her way just wasn't sure how long I'd have to wait.

At least now I can put the CB fertility monitor to some use

Sorry for all those who got a visit from TEW and wasn't really expecting it. Maybe this can be our month and we can all go to the antenatal thread together

welcome to the newbies and bad news for the TEW arrived in some mn!

today.....my cm is white today as found some in my knickers so ive worked out (done my homework and hoping its timed right!!) i should be mosdt fertile on Thurs 1t Nov......hmm! i wonder!!....ive got about 4 opk sticks to use for now....till i buy some more!!..............about millions i say!!

Well I went..back from the gym and now im absoluetly bloody knackered!!

Did 10 mins on the cross trainer and felt very faint as I got off. Then did a Body Balance class and had to stop half way trough as again I though i was going to pass out.- I wonder if thats a sign!!

only 20 mins now till a huge roast dinner with all the trimmings! Yummy Bless DH!
Going to put on all thoose calories ive just burnt off!
