I can't be pregnant this fast right?

Came off the implant two weeks ago, only had protected (condoms) sex since.

Planning on trying end of next year so didn't replace the implant when it expired and just had it out.

3 days late on period and feeling very sore boobs; lots of clear discharge and emotions all over the place

But surely it's so unlikely and just a hormonal response to implant removal

It could just be your body adapting to life without hormonal contraception. Every time I've come off the pill I've had a similar reaction.

stillfeelingmad · 12/12/2020 23:24

Thanks I'm sure it's that just sort of wanted someone else to agree, wouldn't be the end of the world but much sooner than planned

You could. One of my mates got pregnant that quick after a mireba. Her DP just has to look at her and she gets pregnant though...

stillfeelingmad · 13/12/2020 11:14

If it's still not here in a few days I'll do a test. Just seems really unlikely, specially using a condom 🤷🏻‍♀️
I'll come back and update if it's positive Grin

Sounds like you're probably ovulating around now!

custardbear · 13/12/2020 11:27

I'd be doing a test! 😉

stillfeelingmad · 13/12/2020 11:39

Yes I think ovulation most likely,
It threw me off because I use the clue tracking app which pinned me as ovulating last weekend but of course that was probably thrown off course by the removal of the implant!!

My DD2 had her contraception removed in July... never had another period! (now 5 months pregnant) so it definitely can happen!

stillfeelingmad · 24/12/2020 08:24

Still no period so did a test, I feel like I'm going crazy staring at it deciding if there is a line!
Please wise mumsnetters, I'm sure there's nothing but a little bit in my own head at this point Blush

stillfeelingmad · 24/12/2020 08:28

Nope, not what I wanted to hear! Confused I was hoping the response was 'don't worry you've definitely conjured this in your head'

cookielove · 24/12/2020 08:29

larrythelizard · 24/12/2020 08:29

I can also see a faint line. Maybe get a pink dye one and test??

Doyouwantanothercuppa · 24/12/2020 08:29

In the first photo, I think there is a line.

GreenLeafTurnip · 24/12/2020 08:29

ladymuck111 · 24/12/2020 08:31

There is definitely a line

BakewellGin1 · 24/12/2020 08:32

Im usually skeptical with these and think nope... But there could be something there... Maybe another test?

stillfeelingmad · 24/12/2020 08:34

@BakewellGin1
I'm the same and always felt sorry for people desperately wanting it to be a line when it looked blank or vice versa. I thought I was just winding myself up. But looked at it in a few different lights and kept thinking I saw something

Kaboomba · 24/12/2020 08:35

Because your already late it shouldn't matter what time you POAS. Try holding for a few hours. I'd get a digital or a first response.

Emelene · 24/12/2020 08:35

There's a line there!

MissSmiley · 24/12/2020 08:36

Did you definitely only have sex with a condom? That test looks positive
How would you feel if you are pregnant?

stillfeelingmad · 24/12/2020 08:38

Yes we've done it a lot lately, what else is there to do in tier 3 Grin

Honestly I would be thrilled it's not when we planned it and we'd have to move the wedding but hey, life happens. Equally would be thrilled to wait another year though GrinWink
