Praying for a December conception

Who else is praying to conceive this month?
I’m on CD 1 so I’m praying I conceive this month. Had copper coil removed just over a month ago now, and we avoided conceiving last month as hubby didn’t want an August baby (he’s an aug bub himself)
I’ve always been regular with my cycle and regular with ovulation (continued tracking while on coil) so hoping we get lucky 🤞🏼

@ApplePie86 Yea I think my OH is exhausted now 😂 but I don’t want to miss anything! I ovulated last Thursday according to my opk’s but they are not drastically declining so I’m confused!

Keep going! When are you ovulation or due AF?

@arc91 I think I would get peak OPK tonight/tomorrow morning then ovulate tomorrow maybe? Just done another OPK but it's gone right down from 0.75 to 0.22 on Premom but I think that's because I had a couple of glasses of water. Will see what it says tomorrow.

I’m keeping everything crossed for a BFP this month. After 2 early MCs in the last 3 months I’m sooo over it and ready for some good news. Please God 😢 Wishing everyone here a Christmas bfp as well 💗🌈

Third month ttc #1 currently 2dpo.

It's our wedding anniversary just before Xmas so would love a bfp as a present but I have a short luteal phase so not looking hopeful! Started folic acid, vitamin b complex and vit c to try and help with it.
I am also a poas addict 🙈

I am definitely a poas addict now too, opk’s and prg tests! I made the mistake of testing too soon today, I think only 5/6 dpo and had a BFN and felt down all day even though I know it’s probably too early to test?! Patience isn’t my strong point 😆

What symptoms are you ladies seeing after dpo

Hi @arc91 yep, I've tested 5/6dpo before even though I know it will be a bfn so I don't know why I do it to myself 😆

@Iloveoreos I've had all sorts of symptoms after ovulation and not one of them have meant I'm pregnant so I'm trying (and failing) to not do it again this month! Only 2dpo today so way too early for anything yet.

I'm a POAS addict Iv just bought 25 dip tests on amazon for £5 so I can test as much as I like hahaha. Fingers crossed for us lady's xx

Really trying to hold off testing now until at least Monday with a FRER. Any tips for distraction?

How’s everyone feeling today? Anyone coming to the end of the 2WW?

I’m just heading into ovulation time now. Trying to stay as relaxed as possible. I think it’s a good thing to be trying in December, as the build up the Christmas is a good distraction to all things baby related.

Got my period today ☹️. I will be ovulating again over Xmas so still have another chance for December conception but I don’t know how much longer I can put myself through this 😩

I don't even know if I'm going to ovulate this month. On CD19 and no temp increase and no peak opk 🙄.

@arc91 I've decided that I'm not buying any tests until at least 12dpo. If they're in the house I end up testing...zero self control!

@Rumples I wish i didn’t have any tests here! I’ve got plans to keep me busy tomorrow but don’t think I’m going to have any self control Sunday which I think will be 6 days before AF due and 10dpo (not 100% on dates)

Still waiting AF or BFP. Think I ovulated late due to having Covid, set everything back a few days. Back to TWW on day 8dpo. I'm trying to stay positive and not symptom spot too much. I have pinching pains on my right side, where I ovulated from and boobs are like cannon balls!! AF due 18th not gonna test till I'm late can't face that stark white BFN.

So AF was due yesterday and so far nothing. Last test i did was 12dpo and it was negative so going to try and wait to see if lady in red arrives. 😫

Was tempted to test today.9dpo. Bfn :( and ive been feeling so unwell. Literally felt so tired last night. Not sure if its in my head the feelings and symptoms :(

But then again 9dp is too early no? Last time when i ha my chemical i tested 10dpo and got the faintest line and slightly stronger on 11dpo

@DOB78 I wish I had your will power! I think I’m going to cave tomorrow and probably test everyday, it’s just torturing myself so I don’t know why 😞 I don’t know if I’m 8dpo or 7dpo so still too early. Boobs was a sign for me last time but I just don’t feel it this time, neither does my DH!

I’ve been being so careful not drinking no alcohol etc this month to be in the best position possible but I really feel like I need a glass of wine tonight to detach myself from the situation. Can this be harmful at this stage? I couldn’t bare doing anything that might cause another mc or prevent implantation.

@arc91 noo just the. B&M clear and simple brand. Too scared to test again cos I know I will be disappointed and wondering where AF is 😞 going to give it a couple of days so keeping a bit of hope still x

@arc91 i have af around 14 days after ovulating so I would say im due in about 5 6 days i think

@arc91 I've learned my lesson testing too early just gets me down. I got 25 poas for £3 arriving Wednesday so I'm holding out till they arrive. I've spent a fortune already.
Last time I was pregnant was 17 years ago and I can't remember how I felt really apart from real bad morning sickness and my mouth feeling like I'd been sucking on pennies all night.
I'll keep an eye out for your good news 🤞

I'm due AF any day now - technically the 15th. I don't even think I have any tests in at the moment, which is probably a good thing as I don't want to be disappointed so might just try and hold off longer and see if AF arrives. DP's birthday is also on the 15th and I was wanting it to be a surprise on his birthday but I think I might try to hold off for a bit longer. AF is usually like clockwork so if it's not here by then that's hopefully a good sign.

To my biggest surprise I got a bfp yesterday at13dpo! I'm still in shock and don't want to get too hyped because of the last 2 mcs. Fingers crossed this one sticks 🌈🌈 hope af stays away for you too abd you get a bfp 😊
